The food is overpriced and extremely bland. My bf got the chicken sandwich, dais it was so dry that it was drying out his mouth. Pretty disappointed with the food quality to be honest. The restaurant was extremely loud we had to almost yell to hear each other and we were at a two person table in the corner. This was once one of our favorite places to eat. Not anymore. Both the food and the service was terrible. Our waitress was snippy and barely civil. She dropped our food off without even making eye contact. She didn't ask us if we had everything we needed. She didn't come back to check on us, our drinks were empty and never refilled. We ordered conch fritters which were burned beyond even being edible. Our fish was good but the fries were undercooked. We are pretty laid back people and we really next to never complain but are doing so now out of utter disappointment. Maybe this just isn't the place to be during snowbird season. We've been patrons of Casey Key Fish House for nearly 20 years. The quality and service are consistent. Obviously it's very crowded in season but still not impossible to get into. My favorite dish is their Almond Encrusted Snapper. You can arrive by boat or car, which is fun. read more

My husband and I have been to Casey Key Fish House several times since moving to Florida last summer. Don't let the casual dining deter you, their food is excellent. The Fish Tacos are one of our favorites. Their key lime pie is to die for...so creamy and delicious. This place gets packed especially during season, so come early or be prepared for a wait. If you do have to wait, enjoy the many birds that hang out on the docks. It is in a gorgeous location. read more

One of the best kept secrets of the area! My wife and I had snapper and wahoo, both specials. The quality and preparation was excellent. Tiki bar is great for drinks before or after dinner. We also found out there is a water taxi operating off the restaurant docks that will pickup on siesta key and other local areas. We will definitely try it on our next trip. read more

We found the Fish House on Yelp after getting off I-75 for gas. Hands down some of the freshest fish I've ever eaten (and that says a lot being from Long Island). The service was as great as the view. All around a great place to have lunch. read more

Very good - we've been back for the past 5 years and continue to return. They always seem overwhelmed but the food is great and a very fair price. The Tuna is always great, the almond snapper is a safe bet. Tonight we tried the clams and garlic sauce. I will probably not get a garlic sauce dish from here again - but only because it was a strong garlic. The clam chowder is second place to captain Curts. Tonight was a date night, so no kiddos but it's one of the least expensive kid menus in town. :) read more

Terrible customer service!!!!! If I could give zero stars I would! I had planned to join my family at this restaurant at 4:00 pm Wednesday afternoon. Unfortunately I was not ALLOWED to get a table because my entire party wasn't present (they were running 15 minutes late). I was told to sit outside until they arrived. Curiously, there were only a few tables occupied in the restaurant, most were empty. I sat down outside to wait where there was no one waiting to be seated. Within a couple minutes the "hostess" put up a sign that read "please seat yourself" so I got up and tried to enter the restaurant to seat myself, but was immediately stopped by the "hostess" and told I could not go in! When I questioned her about the logic, she angerly told me it was their policy! I now realize if I had waited until she walked away from her "please seat yourself" sign, I could have selected my seat while my party was parking their car! Because of her disrespectfull demeanor and lack of customer service attitude, we left and will not go back! Ridiculous! There are too many other good places to eat where they appreciate their customers! If I had been treated with respect, I would have handled this differently, but the hostess was apparently having a bad day! read more

Peel and eat shrimp was a great way to start our meal. I had the Asian ahi tuna dish with noodles and it was perfect, although portion size is large. Grease. Tourists. Traffic. Parking. If you must have a meal on the Intercoastal Waterway, and if you must go where the great unwashed go, head on over. We've given it a couple tries, and it's always the same... greasy oily fried fish sometimes served on bread with very predictable and typical sides and condiments. Everyone who wants to try to be someone (in what category, we cannot figure out) shows up here, and some people come back annually each time they come to Florida. But it certainly is not for the food. There's not enough parking, so some people need to drop their companions off at the front door and then maneuver their car all around in order to go park across the road in a gravel parking lot on the other side of the street. Not only that it's located on the other side of a one-lane bridge. The wait to get over the bridge for a meal can be so long at mealtimes that you really need to bring a snack to tide yourself over. In order to go home the wait to get over the bridge is sometimes so long that you need to re park your car, and go back inside to use the restroom again. Not kidding. Only go here if you've got a full day just to drive there and back. read more

We enjoyed our meal at Casey Key Fish House. It's on the water (bay, I think not ocean) and has a very casual, fun vibe. It is a popular place and very crowded. We got there at 5:30 and were seated around 6 o'clock.They have a good selection of everything. I got a yellow tail special that was pan seared with a sauce.
