I can't say enough good things about this company and the incredible service they provided! I first hired them to fix a dishwasher that some tenants had completely ruined. He was upfront and honest, telling me it'd be better to replace it because of the damage. I wanted to try repairing it. I found the part myself, and he came back to install it. Unfortunately, the dishwasher still didn't work, but he didn't charge me full price for the second trip--and his pricing was wicked fair for the market and area. Eventually, I bit the bullet and decided to replace the dishwasher. He came out on a Saturday to install the new one. He went above and beyond by also installing some complicated Amazon lights I had ordered for my unit that same day. Since then, I've called them back to install two more dishwashers and a fridge. One of the dishwashers needed a lot of extra plumbing work, which they handled like pros--no issues at all. They also make recommendations on appliance that are tenant friendly. What really sets these guys apart is their willingness to go above and beyond. They also replaced outlets that had been painted over by a painter in my unit and even added complimentary white outlet covers (which I later swapped for Art Deco black ones to match). I've recommended them to other unit owners in my complexes. They're honest, trustworthy, reliable He's the kind of guy you know would help your Nana bring in groceries if she needed it. Very ethical and up front. Called him about dryer not working. Immediately told me what was wrong and what part was needed. Could've charged me a service call but did not. IN MY OPINION Casey and Casey King Appliance, LLC is THE MOST UNRESPONSIVE AND UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY, and SHOULD BE AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS. In my opinion, Casey performed an improper, incomplete, and very "quick" inspection of my appliances on 1-24-23, and FAILED TO IDENTIFY ANY PROBLEMS DESPITE OBVIOUS ISSUES. In my opinion, this is likely because he spent only 10 minutes inside my condo inspecting two appliances. During Casey's inspection of my appliances, I was not present but my condo building maintenance supervisor was. Prior to the inspection, I spoke directly with Casey to coordinate and explain the issues with the appliances. Casey promised to call me back after he inspected the appliances to explain the outcome of his inspection. He never called me despite me leaving Casey voicemails and text messages. In my opinion, THIS IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AS A BUSINESS, and they are incompetent and completely unresponsive! For background - I have an oceanfront beach condo in Daytona Beach Shores that suffered significant water intrusion as a result of Hurricane Ian. I had 2-3" of water inside my condo kitchen area as result of the hurricane that caused my refrigerator to essentially be underwater and now malfunction. The refrigerator was working fine prior to the hurricane. Casey was hired by my insurance company to perform an inspection after the insurance company sent 2 other companies to perform inspections, and all confirmed the obvious damage. This was the third attempt by the insurance carrier to inspect since they were declining the damage. Although hired by the insurance company, I thought Casey would be honest, provide me with genuine detailed feedback, and perform a thorough inspection while not appearing to cut any corners to make quick buck! Due to Casey's inspection making no sense based on obvious damage, after Casey's inspection, I called another Appliance Repair Company (All American Appliances/Troy) to properly diagnose the real appliance problems. Although Casey says nothing was wrong with my refrigerator, All American immediately identified that my refrigerator has a wiring harness that sits essentially at the bottom of the unit close to the floor. Since I had 2-3" of water inside my condo kitchen that caused these exposed wires to be compromised, the module inside my freezer door failed, which now causes excessive water to leak out of the dispenser. This is an obvious problem. When Casey performed his inspection, he told the insurance company that nothing is wrong despite the obvious water leaking down the refrigerator door. In fact, his invoice (attached) states "No problems detected" despite this problem occurring for over 3 months now since the hurricane. When All American, the company I hired, came out to re-inspect the same refrigerator 3 days after Casey they immediately found the problem caused by the hurricane. Attached are photos of the problem that Casey said "No Problems Detected." You be the judge! I'm not an appliance repair person, but this is pretty obvious to me. To date, Casey still has not returned any of my calls or text messages. I find this type of behavior by a local business owner to be very DISRESPECTFUL and SHAMEFULL. As a business professional and owner of several properties myself, I try to support and rely heavily local businesses that provide good, professional, and reliable service. I'm not one to do many reviews, but since I rely on them myself, I wanted to share my experience. This feedback is purely my opinion based on my terrible experience with Casey's Appliance Repair out of Port Orange, FL. I'll never use them again, and will suggest anyone needing a thorough appliance diagnosis to go elsewhere like I did. read more
