    Receipt for work

Look at the receipts and you can decide if it's worth it to go here. After paying and on my first ride a few hundred miles in I notice oil leaking from the crank case. Was able to hand tighten 2 bolts. They did not bother to re torque all the case bolts. Not good. Next thing is I ordered new chain and sprockets. Well they couldn't get my size so they just put on whatever they had in stock to make the sale. And never told me till I road the bike and felt the difference. I added a BT Moto stage 1 flash. Was told by Jared that it wouldn't help the bike without the emissions block off kits. Just to up sale and make another $800. All I wanted done to start was headers installed and flash. They made the up sale then made it seem like they did me a favor by getting the work done. I did email and they offered to retorque my case bolts. Took blame for "forgetting to mention" the other. It's not worth my time to drive 3-4 hours for a 5 minute job that should have been done to start with. Be aware they charge a convenience fee to help keep prices low. Look up and item here and I'm sure you'll see you could had gotten a better deal.

I recently had some accessories installed on my adventure bike by this shop. Although adventure bikes aren't their specialty they took on the job. They kept me up to date by telephone and text the entire way and even sent me photos along the way. They completed the job in a very timely manner and the bikes looked amazing! If you want a quality job you need to hire quality professionals. This shop is it. I will definitely take my bike back to them and recommend to anyone wanting professional level work done at a fair price.

Covered Airbox inlet where breather hose is supposed to be. Only way for the engine to vent!

GARBAGE!!!! I took my 2022 Yamaha R7 to get Dynotuned a while back. I got a HalfA$$ tune or probably nothing at all. One day after wearing light colored shoes and pants I noticed my right leg covered in oil. I noticed my engine had almost 0 oil left according to the sight glass. After further investigation I found out the engine had no way of breathing, so it pressured up and started to spit all of my oil out of my clutch rod assembly seal. So, I was running my engine with little to no oil for God only knows how many miles. Most sportbikes need block off plates, that is not the case for an R7/MT07. You need to Un-restrict the air box since the CP2 engine does not have openings for block off plates. (refer to pictures) What they did was cut the only breather hose from the airbox to the engine case as shown below. They plugged the airbox with a cap and then cut and plugged the hose with a bolt. I reached out to them and asked why they did this; I was told for "emissions purposes". No solution was given. I was told to simply just "bring it by the shop for them to take a look at it". Why the hell would I bring it back to you guys after you did a Mickey Mouse job on my bike? Also noticed that the tire probably rubbed up against plastic undertray of the tail section of my bike while they had it on the dynotuner or whatever they had it on. I added the picture of the printout they gave me of my "gains". All and all I pretty much just got an ECU flash if that. I hope nobody has to go through this. HUGE waste of money. I hope nobody has to go through this. Whoever did their website did a good job. Judging by the website it looks like a professional shop, IT WAS NOT. They were in a neighborhood behind a mom-and-pop shop. Place is about as big as a two-car garage looked pretty ghetto honestly. Surprised they had so many bikes there when I showed up. I showed up to my appointment and waited about 20-30 minutes while one guy moved a small container with a forklift and the other 4 guys guided him the entire time as he moved it 20 feet. The place literally a driveway and small garage. Don't be fooled like I was. This is the first and last time I will ever let anyone else do work on any of my bikes. (Noticed they moved locations I was talking about their old location in North Hollywood) Response to Jarred..... I waited to post this review because #1- I work 72-84 hours a week #2 -I've never reviewed anything before in my life so the last thing I want to do is put down a small business, sadly I have to #3 - I like to gather all information before I accuse anyone of anything, so being that I finally replaced my airbox with an aftermarket one I had the opportunity to check to see if you actually did the work you were supposed to do to my airbox, and sure enough YOU DID NOT. I like how you responded to everything EXCEPT engine issue. How detrimental your work was to my brand-new bike. I'm surprised my engine didn't seize from running with little to no oil. The bike was brand new when I brought it to you guys after the break in period at around 1300 or so miles. With that being said since I was the only person to touch the bike before I brought it to you guys, anything out of the ordinary would obviously be on you. For the Rear Fender (plastic undertray) unless I somehow bottomed out my bike myself, I doubt that I would damage my own motorcycle in that manner, again the bike was brand new. My only guess is that the tire rubbed against it as it was ratchet tied down to your "dyno". If you want to show me these pictures, please post them I would love to see if you are able to prove with pictures that it was not you, I highly doubt it unless you have a picture of my license plate and the undercarriage in one photo. To respond to your "open door policy" on my dyno sheet. Why didn't you give me all of that information to begin with? Isn't that a standard? Why say you will give it all to me now and not when I got my bike back. You have an opportunity to rectify all of this by explaining why you plugged the ONLY source of venting the engine and did not touch the airbox at all. Please explain why I got that instead of a dynotuned bike. Instead, you chose to focus on why I didn't post this review sooner, literally everything except the work you did on my bike. For your solution of "going through the bike WITH me", as I stated I addressed the situation by reaching out to you guys, asking why you did this and was given a poor response. I don't need to "go through the bike WITH you" it took me this long to write this review because I had to find the time to go through the bike myself, I know what you guys did and didn't do that's why I wrote this review...

Quality, great service, highly recommend. They took on something that no one knew how to fix. I went to 5 different places and was left with nothing. Tanner and Jared took in on and in no time my motorcycle is running great. Great job guys! Thank you

I brought my 2008 Ducati Hypermotard in for service. These guys are great! Great service knew everything about what needed to be done. I also purchased new tires. I will only bring my bike in here for service.

Jarred and the team at Motorsport Exotica are top notch. They did a full race build on my BMW M1000R. After using other shops around LA in the past, I wouldn't even think of bringing my bike anywhere else.

Ask the Community - Motorsport Exotica

Do you do general dyno tunes for stock bikes to optimize their function? Not interested in a race tune, just improved running.

Depending on the year make and model of the bike, yes absolutely!

Do you guys wrap motorcycles and if not do you have a company that does, the material provided just need it wrapped?

Steven shoot us an email at office@motorsportexotica.com. We got you covered.

How much would it be to dyno tune a 2011 GSXR 750? It has woolich Racing hardware on it.

475 for a full dyno tube if you have the bin file already.

Does this place sell used bikes?

    We do not. Sorry

Does this place sell helmets? And I can try them on?

No they don't. But when you're ready to get your bike tuned by best shop in the Western Hemisphere come check them out.

DO NOT TRUST ALVIN, He will take parts from your bike reuse them on other bikes, lose important…read moreparts, or swap them with old and worn ones. Upcharge you for repairs He does not do or half asses. Below is proof verified by a trusted reputable mechanic. Had a few repairs done at this shop after getting rear ended and spent close to $2000 in repairs and parts. Alvin was the main contact and the mechanic who worked on the bike. He replaced the handlebars, rear fender, did a valve adjustment, checked compression, front break cylinder, break pedal, and etc. I when I picked up the bike the first time break cylinder was not installed properly leaking breaking fluid. There was/is a piece of metal rolling around inside the handlebars - that of which he did not remedy, I figured it's so minor compared to the major repairs I won't make a deal out of it. When he installed the rear fender, the sissy bar and small compartment was misaligned/fender was crooked- preventing the compartment from closing. He informed me that I needed a new stator and rectifier along with a gasket. When I picked up the bike after he said it was done, the bike was Leaking oil, the gear shifter was not connected, there was a missing alem screw, a part on the bike was not tightened, and a he had lost a bolt....and the bike was revving at 2000rpm. I had to bring back the bike for him to fix the oil leak and other issues he caused. I've been patient and respectful with him. When seeing that the bike was not put together after telling me it was good to go - he made comments about how it was not his fault. What the hell am I paying you for?! You're not even getting the parts. When I picked it up again (3rd time) the bike was idling lower than 1000rpm, still leaking oil and white smoke coming out of the exhaust on start up. I asked him to fix the oil leak since it was still leaking & adjust the idle properly and he said he would fix it if I would buy another part- pickup coil (that I had just had him installed) and would charge me labor. As it was a faulty pickup coil- which was new. I told him I already paid him for the work to be done and won't be paying for the issues he caused. Important- I tried to contact him multiple times through text and call, and have not heard back from him. The last I heard he indicated he was not making enough money at the shop to get by and is becoming a truck driver. Took the bike to another trusted and reliable shop further from me who informed me that the pickup coil was installed incorrectly causing the oil leak, there was no valve adjustment done. The mechanic also informed me that he had upcharged me for simple repairs that clearly was not done. The bike was loosing power has a ticking noise and other issues. A technician informed me that: pulse coil was twisted together and wrapped in electrical tape (per the pics) and not soldered! The plug under the side cover was broken and loose behind the out cap (picture). I had put in 2 iridium spark plugs and was informed there was 1 iridium and 1 old bpr70s spark plug- to make things worse Alvin took one of my new spark plugs and swapped it out with a crap one. The amount of money I paid does not warrant this crap job! And the audacity to lie to my face about the repairs he did. This is by far the worst mechanic I have been to, dishonest, does not admit his faults and is clearly not knowledgeable when it comes to repairs. If you've read this entire review I hope that these issues do not happen to you. Do not trust Alvin. And make sure that your bike is 100% when picking it up.
