After re-reading my review I felt it imperative to go more in-depth with why my review was so poor. During the time of my review I was working with Shanna to rectify an error that had been made. I have absolutely ZERO animosity surrounding that situation. Shanna handled it eloquently and had exceptional customer service. My poor review regarding shift lead Jenny is in no way related to that situation. I wanted to give a further explanation that my disappointment with her service has NOTHING to do with Shanna, the error that was made, or Jenny being the one to tell me a mistake had been made. I work in customer service and I understand that things happen, hell... the only reason I've been going through any of this is because things happen. I wanted to reiterate that like I said before, the fireweed cash America is wonderful, I've been doing business there for a while. O'shay, Franklin, Shanna, and Amanda are all INCREDIBLE to work with my interactions with any of them have left me satisfied by the service I'd received. My disappointment and dissatisfaction that lead to my initial review has nothing to do with anyone or any other situation except for Jenny. On numerous occasions, some before the mishap with my account happened I've witness Jenny talking down to customers, giving poor body language, and just being downright difficult to work with. I've never before experienced money problems so you can imagine hitting that snag in life has been a bit of a sensitive topic for me. No one at the fireweed location has ever made me feel bad about being in my situation they just.. made me feel normal. That is except for Jenny. Her demeaning attitude, misgiving of information, and horrible customer service skills must be address. I've seen her on more than one occasion tell a customer verbatim,
"Your item isn't good enough for our store, sorry, try somewhere else." When I came into the store after a phone conversation with her and I asked about misinformation she'd given me she turned to me and said, "maybe you should listen better, honey."
I just want it to be very clear that my review is a reflection of no one other than her. I'm not shooting the messenger or taking my anger out on her over something she wasn't a part of. No absolutely not. As someone who's worked their entire life in customer service I find her persona unacceptable and I just hope that by reviewing I can save someone from the embarrassment and shame she made me feel. read more
