They use a poor system for routing customers waiting to speak with customer help, routing them across the throng of shoppers entering the store with shopping carts. Bad, bad, bad workflow. Apparently, the store is being redesigned, but who knows when that will happen. Hoping they get approval to site a new Costco at a little used mall in Leominster. Much closer to me.

Kristen was the attendant. I'm shy, so it took me a while to finally speak up for myself--i didn't want to be rude. She told me the hotdogs were gonna take a while. She had given away the last hotdogs. I tried to ask her to check for my number to make sure it wasn't lost but she refused. Kristen dismissed me and walked to the back. She returned a few minutes later with a coworker and was laughing looking in my direction. 15 minutes later, the new batch was ready. Kristen had an order for 2 hotdogs so I was sure they were mine. But then she called order 137. We were 112. Luckily my dad intervened and said "no that's order 112." She shrugged then threw the hotdog bags at him. ??!! Insane behavior. An acknowledgement would've meant a lot, but instead it felt like I was being gaslit. I think they may have lost the ticket but she wouldn't look at my receipt to check!

Summer helped me and she was incredibly positive and knowledgeable. She helped me choose the right size and recommended the correct shape and shading for my sunglasses. Mind you I walked out with three pairs of glasses for the price of one pair of glasses at the fancy Optical Shops. I will always get my glasses at Costco.

Counted 16, asked my wife to count and she said 16. I guess it was just something to do to pass the time as we waited in line to leave. 2 lines were set up, one had an associate e has seen before and he seemed to be moving things along. Unfortunately the lines we were in was a little slow and I joked that the associate was probably new and was being extra careful and meticulous on checking the receipts . Sure enough he counted ours and said 17. I could have laughed, I told him no it was 16 and he needed to count again. Well he decided to "enunciate" all the numbers, going slowly. And guess what, he came up with 16. I really thought they were there to ensure we got all the sales correctly on the receipt so if something rang up too high they would help us correct it. Not to use it as a ruse to make sure you paid for everything. The carts go on the cashiers side so you can't sneak anything they. 2 stars this time. This includes shopping around all their vegetables and fruits. Which most seemed to be over ripe and not appealing enough ton purchase. Not sure what happened today with their stock because normally they have a good selection to choose from. Just this time most of those food items seemed past their prime.
