Awesome service, they taught us how to use their system to look up English music . The rooms are clean and the price is fair . The bathrooms are not that great but overall it's a good spot.

    super good drink

    Fun time :)

My friends and I booked a VIP Room in the back and it was very spacious. The couches were comfortable, they had two big tambourines for us to use, and the music searching system was easy to figure out. The lights create a nightclub-like atmosphere which is really cool to experience especially if it's your first time coming here. They don't serve alcohol here (yet?) but they allow customers to bring their own which is pretty cool (just don't overdo it, I guess). Would recommend trying this place out especially if you're local.

He explained how we can switch in between the default karaoke machine and YouTube. I found that the default machine had most of the songs I wanted to sing, but we switched to YouTube for other options. It had good sound quality. The room and bathroom were clean. After I paid, the owners let me spin a wheel that awarded various discounts. I got a voucher for 25 percent off my next karaoke transaction, excluding happy hour. The voucher doesn't have an expiration date, but the owners made a bittersweet remark that it could last longer than their business. Hopefully, this isn't anywhere near the case because they're a great local business offering a solid karaoke experience.

Anyways, I just called and I couldn't understand what language they answered with when I called to see if they are still available for Karaoke. They said something and all I could muster was no Karaoke English. So to reiterate what I thought they said I asked, "No English Karoke ". They confirmed no English Karoke. Like what?! Why? I guess there is no more Inclusivity here. And is the reason for my one star review. Side note my niece had told me a while ago that this placed was no longer open when she showed up with her friends sometime last year. And is the reason I called. I just wanted to make sure they weren't closed for renovations but it appears they have made some changes just not sure exactly what other changes have been made other than no more English Karaoke.

I grew up in Japan and I've been going to R1 since 2005〜 Machines are pretty frequently updated here and it's maintained somewhat good. Time to time there are some rhythm games that has faulty censor, but I'm sure it will improve in the future as I've seen this place improve as a whole. One of the downsides for me is Spotcha, as a lot of their "sports" games/machines tends to be faulty and the last 3 times I went, the batting cage especially tends to not be working, but still letting people in. If it needs maintenance, I think people will understand if they put a barricade or a sign that says "under maintenance" rather than just leaving it open and people will just go home disappointed. Keep the actually working ones open, and close/put up a sign might help with maintaining customer satisfaction level. I think they're doing a great job with brining in colab's though!

When I showed up, the place was empty, but I was here on a weekday so that was to be expected. They do have plenty of tables for large groups and they are for sure busier on the weekends. They have a variety of beers to choose from along with food like skewers. I got some lamb skewers to munch on while drinking some Sapporo beer and they were alright. They were on the chewier side but they had good seasoning. The pieces of lamb were a good size and not too small. I would come back again with a bigger group as it's a good spot to hang for a while. They also have a bar area if you don't wan t to sit at a table and several VIP rooms if you want a more private experience with karaoke. Parking is plentiful in the other lots or in front of the bar. I did want to note the low health rating that the bar currently has when it comes when you look at this business. It's at a C, I'm not too bothered by it but did want to take a note of it.

Busiest nights are Saturdays but usually dead on week nights, which is actually the best time to go, IMO. Sorry, no Happy Hour available here on any nights of the week. This is an Asian bar, not Yardhouse. :) BUT, you'll see customers here of all ethnicities, which is what makes this place great. Service at Late Night is a hit or miss. They've had their fair share of changing ownerships and staff, so from all the years I've frequented Late Night, I've received both amazing service to nearly stopped coming due to incompetent and rude waitresses. The last few times I've visited, service was great. Parking shouldn't be a problem if you get there early (8pm-ish), but there are street parking available, as well as the Bank of America parking lot just a few skips away. Skip along further and you'll find a few food trucks parked alongside the curb that you can grab food from if popcorn chicken or stinky tofu is not your thing. (My SIL thinks Late Night has the BEST Stinky Tofu). Pros for Late Night Bar for me is the convenience because it's close to my house and of the hours. Cons may be the outdated decor and the dirty restrooms. Still a spot that I recommend stopping by at least once if you're local and looking for something random to do, but not a place I would suggest for dates or to celebrate a special occasion.

However, I'm giving this place a four star rating because I don't think I'd find myself coming back. It's probably a five star experience for a younger crowd, but my knees could only handle so much. We decided on the 90 minute play time and it was more than enough time to enjoy the facility. At this location, we took turns on the mechanic bull, braved the ninja obstacle course, tried roller skating/roller blading, jumped on the trampolines, and raced each other in the arcade. There was a lot more to play, but these were the activities that we were most interested in. We arrived closer to the opening time so it wasn't very busy when we were here. This was nice because it made a lot of the activities more accessible. I think that Spo Cha is a great place to try something new! I like that they emphasize safety and provide the appropriate gear for specific activities at no additional cost. It's an excellent value for your money compared to other adventure parks.

This place is every germaphobe's nightmare. I remember when Spo-Cha first opened and thought it was…read morea decent little spot to do some activities. Coming back years later with somewhat optimistic expectations, it sadly now looks like a shell of what it could have been. On Sunday afternoon, we decided to check out Spo-Cha since we had nothing else to do while hanging out with friends. While I was already anticipating having to use shared equipment, it was honestly really gross seeing communal sports equipment just being hung up after use or thrown in the same bin for the next person to use... and not to mention, everything was VERY sweaty too. There were no attendants actively cleaning equipment (maybe one at the roller rink) and no form of paper towels or sprays to at least allow you to clean between use. Not sure if I was more afraid of potentially getting lice or ringworm, but I tried to avoid touching anything with cloth while I was there. If you're a parent, consider bringing extra disinfectant wipes or hand sanitizer. The bathrooms were not the cleanest but were fine if you're just washing your hands frequently. Not to mention, there were kids running amok throughout the establishment. Again, while it is to be expected, I was still a little concerned seeing there be a lack of parental supervision for a LOT of young kids (toddlers included). Not only is it dangerous for them, who likely don't know any better, but also for older teens and adults trying to avoid knocking them over when they disrupt games or recklessly run into people around the roller rink. While at the very least, most of the sports were fine to play (e.g. billiards, table tennis, volleyball, pickleball, etc.), when it came to the arcade... half the machines were broken. And even if they worked, then a third of those would have something wrong with it. At that point, you'd rather spend your money at Round 1 next door for arcade games and somewhat of a nicer experience. Moving on to the dining area... We did get thirsty after a while and, after noticing a pitcher of water at an empty table, we asked if we could order one as well. The staff (hiding behind the self-order kiosks, since you do not have the option to order at the register) let us know that a pitcher of water costs $8. Needless to say, consider eating and drinking before/after you come here (or just fork up a few extra dollars for a soda instead). Sure, you can say that you get what you pay for, but this place seems to have been going downhill for a while. The only person really working was the employee in a black button up checking us in and out at the counter. He was very courteous and efficient, but seemed pretty overworked. Not sure what things look like behind the scenes, but it doesn't seem like anyone else other than him really cared about the quality or reputation of this place. Overall, if you're looking for a place to kill 3 hours with a $30 budget, you've found it. If you keep your expectations low enough, it's honestly not that terrible of a spot to try different sports or get a little exercise in while having some semblance of fun. But, if you have the chance to avoid it, avoid it. Or instead, consider catching a movie at AMC or heading to Round 1 before it meets the same fate as Spo-Cha.
