I was here for the first time after always passing by it at Mission San Gabriel. They have a big parking lot. My first impression was why is there security with big bulletproof vests and guns?? They were friendly, but they patted guys down every time they entered the building, regardless of whether they had a wristband or not. It made me feel intimated rather than safe. Second impression was they can go all out for their guests. The staff would open doors for us and direct us to the bathrooms (it's confusing in there). My friend celebrated a birthday, so they asked him to send a photo of himself. They ended up using his picture to create a birthday video that they played on the big screen in the karaoke room! They even had a full size bunny mascot and three staff members who did a k-pop style dance! Cool thing about D'Vine is you can ask the staff to switch your song input from their karaoke system to YouTube! You can mirror your own phone to play the songs you want from your YouTube app, or whatever. We switched this multiple times within four hours, and they always obliged. Order food and drink (and alcohol) from the tablet. The staff is pretty quick with bringing orders. The skewers in the hot soup is so good - I highly recommend! One thing I didn't like is that they charge for water bottles. I would have been ok with drinking tap water. They don't allow any outside food or drinks, hence the security. If you want a good time to celebrate a special occasion, I highly recommend making a reservation here! read more

This spot is really, really cool and flashy, but I wish there was a larger selection of songs in its catalogue. The songs available are via a catalogue from Dvine Plus, so you're limited to whatever they choose to add. With that said, my friends and I were disappointed that there were no Hispanic artists for us to sing in Spanish. This review is for a visit from earlier this year so maybe since then, they've added some? If not, I highly recommend they do. For this instance, I'd give it a 4/10. There's a full kitchen at Dvine, so it has a pretty big food menu. Of course, there is also beer, sake and alcohol that can be ordered for your room, too. The rooms are a 10/10, though. Came during happy hour so was able to make the most of the experience. Staff were friendly and showed us to our designated room and had a workflow ready for birthdays. We were of course here to celebrate a birthday so we brought a cake and they asked what time to bring it so at the designated time we were all surprised by the service which was quite a welcome so lets leave it at that. We booked a medium room and it was spacious enough to fit all of us. What's nice is that it came with the standard 2 mics but also an additional corner stage with a lounge style singing mic so you can really get that spot light on you! - A Review for a Party of 2 - I've been looking for a karaoke place that hit the marks, and trust me I've tried a LOT of local ones.. Cash Box, Moxie, Luxe, FTB, O2, Spark... the list goes on, and I think I've found the one for me. Stepping into this place feels like I've stepped into a digital world. I initially asked for a tour of the rooms and each room had their own aesthetic and was stocked with party-ready acconpaniments. We were there because we saw an awesome deal: for $28/person, there's all you can sing from 2-7PM.. EVERY DAY. Weekends included! You also get one free drink too. As it was just me and a friend, we got a cozy small room. We were taught how to work the side panel to queue up songs, given a really neat bowl of ice that served as ambient table lighting, and was set on our way. Since my friends like the less-popular songs, we asked if we could use some sort of YouTube queueing system to which they set up for Airplay/Smartcasting for us. Exactly what we needed! The room acoustics were great and the mic was balanced wonderfully. One awesome bonus in our room was a corner that had one of those old-timey standup mics, which offered a bit of showmanship if that strikes your fancy. We also got some chicken wings! They were actually quite delicious (even if a bit expensive) - it most likely is just air-friend buffalo chicken, but after four hours of singing it was a welcome energy booster. The service there was also a highlight. I think we were helped by Haoran - they were super attentive and also very nice. Maybe it's because of the forced 18% gratuity, lol. In conclusion, due to its decor, distance, price, service and special, this is my #1 choice when wanting to sing. I hope the quality keeps up as they open for longer but I genuinely wish them the best. A lot of thought was put into this place! See you again!! read more

Their Happy Hour is lowkey insane -- private room from 2PM-9PM for $28/person in LA??? and the place actually looks nice too. The rooms felt super clean, lights were giving Vegas vibes, and the sound system was lowkey better than some clubs Also every room has Bluetooth so we were fighting over aux the whole night lol. Came here as a party of 3 with my family. We got a small room, which was $48 per hour and please take notice that they round up the time when they charge you. For example, if you stay for 1 hour 45 minutes, they'll charge you for 2 hours. The aesthetics of the venue and rooms are great. The sound and microphones are good quality as well. English song selection is poor. It's also quite wonky to sync your phone to their system but at least they allow you to do that so you can sing karaoke through YouTube. This place is expensive. The room rates are high and they charge a mandatory 18% service fee regardless of room or party size. The food was tasty, but expensive, maybe 20-30% more than you would pay at a restaurant. A small bottle of water is $5-6, a carafe of iced tea is $18, an appetizer of 6 coconut shrimp is $18, and a bowl of very tasty beef noodle soup is $24. Bottom line: I would totally come here and have a great time if someone else was paying. If I'm paying, I would definitely think twice or be prepared for a hefty bill. read more
