I don't sing but I'll go for the vibes and hang out. Went here yesterday with our group of 4 and I had no idea this place even existed. Its upstairs next to Chubby Cattle in Diamond Plaza. Upon walking in, we got greeted by a guy and then within minutes he walked us to our room. It was very spacious in here, I think about 15 rooms of all different sizes. They have a rather large menu for drinks & food, I dont think I've seen that before. The music selection was okay but the best part was that you can use Spotify to find songs. Came back here for a second visit and everything went down smoothly. We got checked in and the host was able to explain every detail and how their systems worked. We also received their appetizer sampler place which included popcorn chicken, fries, gyoza, tempura, and takoyaki. We used their VIP room and it was really spacious! They had some tropical juice that was refreshing to have whenever singing your lungs off. Their lemonade is also really good as well. They provide you with pitchers and multiple mini cups to share. Overall place was great. Music choice was good. We went on a Saturday afternoon for their happy hour special, which was $25/person, including a soda or tea. When I asked for a cup of water, they said that would be counted as a drink or else we would have to pay for it. Now, why would I pay for tap water? It was not like we didn't order other drinks. Our bill was over $300 for 6 people. The least they could have done was given us free tap water. They wouldn't even refill it unless we paid. I tried to tell them that if you're going to count it as a drink, the least you could do is give us bottle water. So my advice is to bring your own water but don't know if they enforce the no outside drinks policy. They listed actual drinks instead of listing tap water on the receipt. read more

Amazing vibes, sneaky high pricing. We went to happy hour for an hour of karaoke. The space is very posh with really cool private rooms. The thing I loved most about the private rooms was how high-quality the microphones were compared to other places. There was a decent selection of food and there are a decent selection of songs, though the interface takes a little bit to get used to. The biggest lesson learned is around the pricing. we did a $35 happy hour intentionally to save money but still ended up spending $70+ because of fees. I also ordered a cup of herbal tea and when they brought me a pitcher I didn't realize I was being charged $10 vs. $4 for a cup (despite me asking for a cup). The place looks very modern, upscale, and fancy, and the rooms are very spacious with different sizes that fit your needs. They now have a special price of $25 per person + 18% service charge during the Happy Hour "All You Can Sing". The happy hour is from Monday to Thursday, 3 p.m.-11 p.m., or Friday to Sunday, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. The Happy Hour price also includes 1 iced Jasmine Tea or a soda drink. We got room #5 for our group of 10 people from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., and the room was spacious enough. There are many Chinese and English song selections, and we all had a blast that night. I love karaoke. I'm definitely not good at it, but it's always such a fun time with friends! We checked out Spark Karaoke and overall, it was definitely interesting. The vibe is fun, and the place is clean with some cool decor. We loved that there was a led light ball flashing in our room. But getting help was a bit of a struggle. When we first got there, it took a while to get someone's attention, maybe 15 minutes to even get our room. Same thing when we were trying to close out, we were just kinda standing around waiting for someone to show up. We didn't try the food, just stuck to drinks. They were decent, nothing mind-blowing, but they did the job. As for the karaoke itself, the song selection was okay, but the system could definitely use some work. If you back out of a song or menu, it takes you all the way back to the start, which gets annoying fast. Still, we made it work and had a blast once we got going. Price-wise, it's not terrible, but I've been to other spots that had more songs and better pricing. I'd probably give it a solid 4/5. We came here for a birthday celebration and we all had a good time. The KTV is very updated and clean. The ambience was also nice and inviting. The staff were very welcoming and quick to get you set up right away. I highly recommend you make a reservation before you come bc they do get booked during the weekends. The song list was plenty and we found all the songs we wanted to sing. Just note that they are pretty strict of not allowing you to bring any drinks or snacks inside since they want you to buy from them. There is security outside which will check your bags to make sure you don't bring any snacks or drinks inside. Also note there are cameras inside too. You can change the language, and search by song, artist, band, etc. You can type via ABC, initial letters, pinyin, handwrite, and other methods. The song database seems very up-to-date with very new English songs available. I've been to a few Karaoke spots around the area. Energy being another local favorite. I personally enjoy Spark for a quick Karaoke fix because usually if you call day of for a small room for 2, they have it available pretty immediately. The pricing is manageable. $38/hr for small room and they will charge a 15% gratuity on top of the final charge (tips encouraged but not required). They have a decent food selection, from skewers to fruits to popcorn chicken to ramen. Alcohol selection is pretty standard as well, beers, sojus, hard liquor... I usually go for Soju and like that they have a large soju fresh available (though pretty pricy at around $38). I don't recommend the set food platters as it may have stuff people don't eat (for me the fruit platter that's mainly different types of melon and some pineapple.) The rooms are spacious, the mics are decent, the staff is usually pretty nice and attentive, and the song selection (including English songs) is decent. They offer connecting to Spotify as well so if you're into singing with a backtrack then this could be the option for you. Otherwise, their main karaoke system has some English selection and lots of Chinese or Korean selections. I always call in advance to book a room and there's a good parking lot around the area that usually isn't busy later at night. I went with Spark because it had the most positive reviews and I'm so glad I did. The employees speak both Chinese and English and making a reservation over the phone was so easy. They send you a confirmation text and also call to confirm your reservation the day of. (Note, they only take reservations one week in advance) The rooms are spacious and clean, and the song selector device is very intuitive and easy to use. Song selection was also great. We only ordered drinks so I can't comment on the food, but the service was quick and attentive. You pay at the front lobby after your allotted time is up.
