However, the added checklist and openly provided tips and advices via paper documents and pdf helped us a lot to just make the whole easy as I could simply state. So please take advantage of this resource they provide. My wife and I had our black and white minimalist wedding here last July and it was everything we expected and more. The location itself is tucked away in the Conejo Mountains and perfect for a private event. The views at golden hour is perfect and during our July summer the vineyard provides many photo opportunities. The venue itself is gorgeous with a running fountain with floral succulents, a stone fireplace, and hidden vineyard vibe. The grassed ceremony area with the stone stair case was perfect for our wedding. The reception area with the fireplace gave it a great ambiance, especially at night with the lighting. The portable bathrooms are amazing and don't feel portable at all. The bridal suite was perfect for our bridal party and had AC. Overall our experience with Casi Cielo Vineyards was amazing and wish we could just do it all over again. So if you're not already deciding hurry before your date gets booked by someone else. We were thrilled with our wedding at Casi Cielo Vineyards. We got married in early June, and the weather was perfect (low 70s temperature, with a great sunset). This is a beautiful venue tucked into the backside of the Santa Monica Mountains in Camarillo. Our entire experience with the staff at Casi Cielo was very friendly and professional. We really appreciated Jacyln and Kaitlyn's attention to detail, in particular with all of the planning that took place in the months and weeks that led up to our wedding day. Casi Cielo had a DJ and catering company included, which helped make our planning process easier. Casi Cielo's venue space is outdoors. This location feels secluded from any nearby city - even if the 101 freeway is just a few minutes away (off Pleasant Valley Road). From the way in which the sun sets in this venue during the evening hours, to the landscaping and vineyard at this facility, the scene was perfect. Our family members and guests were impressed. The outdoor lawn space worked out well for the wedding ceremony, and it was very helpful to have the reception space just steps away in beautifully-arranged dinner and dancing space. We would also like to thank DJs catering for their five-star taco bar, one of several options available from the catering company. Our guests loved the food and beverages served. The staff at Casi Cielo really helped to alleviate any stresses that may come with such an important day and weekend. We can't thank them enough for everything they did to help us plan such a beautiful wedding. Attended an event here. Place was beautiful and everyone from the crew to the bar tenders were extremely nice. My only complain are the owner Juan. Google directed us in a certain way going to the venue. He closed that side saying we cant go through that way "just because". This was 1 hr and 30 mins before the wedding. He had my grandma who was 73 years old back up all the way out through the dirt road. He was shouting and arrogant! He should not be allowed handling the venue or guests especially for events like this. My grandma cried and was really scared of the guy. We didnt want confront him (apprently he is the husband of the owner named Juan) any more with respect to the people being wed. If you will ever book anything in this venue request not having him around otherwise look for somewhere else. Its not worth it for such a happy occasion. Check yelp and other reviews. This place is owned by someone with attitude like his shit doesn't stink ! And I'm discussed to say he is a Latino ! Dropped off two throne chairs for an event there and was told I HAD !! To pick up by 8am because they had another event.... So I left Long Beach 6am on my way and messaged the coordinator the whole way there but she never responded. I went and got there at 801am . A dog comes out barking and scared us ... we told him to sit then he was nice . We had to use the restroom from that long ride . We asked another company that was there picking up and they told us where the restroom was . He then run into 2 adults and a teenager so we smile and say Hi .... "Wait wait who are you two ... (looking at my teen up and down.! ) I say in a polite voice.. oh I'm the vendor picking up the throne chairs, I gave him a big smile and tried to do a lil small talk but he was with an attitude and giving us dirty looks.... I said the dog scared us ..& he says " yeah that's why you should of called and not came unannounced " " that's his job to scare intruders "! So now I'm about d e with him! reply... oh well I'm sorry, I was told to be here at 8 am by Jaclean... he interrupted and says yes! Yes! she told me ..rolls his eyes and walks away pulling the dog! There are two people who were indispensable on our wedding day, our day-of-coordinator and Jaclyn of Casi Cielo. We originally hired Casi Cielo to do our florals. Jaclyn's gallery of past work was exceptional and I hired her immediately. And perhaps I'm biased but she somehow managed to do her best work for my wedding. The arrangements, from bouquets to garlands to centerpieces to flower girl hair wreaths, everything was stunning. When my MIL learned the price she immediately turned around and hired Jaclyn to do the rehearsal dinner, which was also lovely in every floral detail Then we discovered she also did lighting. She came back out to the space and took all the measurements and assured us that it was a) doable and b) going to look great. Well, we had a backyard wedding out in the country at an old house. I don't know how no fuses were blown, but everything was gorgeous, well lit, and set the perfect mood. It looked like magic. Last but not least, three days before we the wedding we discovered that in the middle of this SoCal drought, and for the first time in sixty years, it was going to rain in Santa Paula on April 9th. Of course, I'm finally panicking, and Jaclyn comes in and manages to secure the last two tents in the county. She changed her lighting and floral plans (garlands and such) to match the new needs and she didn't once lose her cool, and she made everyone feel like she had it all under control. And she did. The place, event was very good! Food was great! Everything was perfect! Until..... me and my friends were about to take shot of tequila he got from Mexico for the wedding. While my friend was serving us the shots, some random guy jist yanked it out of his hand and started yelling that we were not supposed to have outside drinks. Took it to the bar and said we can't have it back untill the end of the wedding. So I jist asked him ok. Let me put the liqor back in the bottle and take it to my car. He started yelling that he was going to call the cops. Granted the bar was already fully paid for and he kept on insisting to get the liqour there. I kinda felt shocked and embarrased of how rude he is to my friends. His name is Juan. From what i heard he is the husband of the owner. He could have asked us nicely that outside liqour is not allowed. None of us knew about that. Thats not how you are supposed to treat guests! Very unprofessional! I would not go back there again. I had booked Casi Cielo for both rentals $1500 and flowers $570 for my daughter's wedding after several friends recommended them. The engagement got broken and even with giving them close to 9 months notice and never having met with them or chosen any flowers or rentals, they would do nothing other than send a curt reply that we signed a contract. Almost all the other vendors with deposits were very understanding and gave us our $$ back since there was so much notice given. I probably couldn't be more disappointed with the outcome of working with casi cielo flowers. When I met jaclyn back in may before my wedding, I was very impressed with her work. I was so excited to work with her. She was personable and knowledgeable about all things floral. I felt that we got along pretty well and it was a great fit! Fast forward to 2 months before my wedding, my planner and her got together to create a mockup of the tables. The flowers looked beautiful it was exactly what I wanted and I was so excited. Fast forward again- to the week of my wedding... she changed the burgundy dahlias I so desperately wanted in my bouquet to another type of rose... that was bright red. She had to SPRAY PAINT MY FLOWERS to match them to the burgundy tone I wanted. Complete and udder disappointment doesn't even begin to describe how I felt the few days before my wedding. Supposedly she couldn't get the dahlias... And she didn't even communicate that she was having a hard time finding them until Wednesday of the wedding week. She also didn't even mention when I first requested dahlias that it could be hard to get them in November. SO unprofessional. In addition, she completely messed up the boutonnière and corsage count for my extended family. She wrote me a note apologizing.. it was hardly apologetic. It was blaming everyone else but herself. It was unbelievable. Definitely would not recommend working with her. Flowers should be the last thing a bride should be worried about during her wedding week and she was disappointment after disappointment. Oh, and the center pieces ended up being so big that the guests couldn't see across the table to look at one another.. they had to remove the centerpieces to see across the table!! Oh and The pieces on the barrels were so sloppy, contained hardly any flowers and were one sided!! Honestly just a horrible experience. I don't understand how a professional florist could have zero pride in her work for this event because it was honestly really bad. Maybe I was just a fluke or a client she decided to half a**.
