The process was slow, frustrating, and unnecessarily expensive. I have intentionally went into the office and bring my documents to verify what needed to waive the verification fees and ask the academic insitutions to provide what are missing. I provided extensive documentation and evidence to verify everything requested, yet I was still asked to pay additional verification fees and go through more verification. All together I spent more than $700 plus gas, mileages, documents, mailing fees everything all together and delivery in person. Yet they still picking on and put on more charge and still not able to delivery! What made this experience especially upsetting is how long the process took. Despite my efforts to provide everything promptly, the delays continued for what felt like forever. Unfortunately, the delay had a serious real-life consequence: I ultimately lost a job offer because the verification process was not completed in time. This was not just an inconvenience--it directly affected my employment opportunity and caused significant financial and emotional stress. I understand that background and employment verification may take time, but there should be reasonable communication, efficiency, and consideration for the people whose careers are directly affected by these delays. I would not recommend ERES based on my experience. If your potential job has a strict deadline, be prepared for the possibility that you may be waiting on ERES for a very long time.

It was fairly simple. Yes, it's the building on the right as you face the water fountain. It literally says Building 1 on it, cant miss it. Once you go in, there's the elevator and you take it up to the 2nd floor. Walk down the hall and you'll reach room 215. The restrooms are somewhere in-between the elevator and the room. I was actually early to my appointment but they let me start so I didn't have to wait. I checked in at front desk and was instructed to remove my rings, bracelet, watch, and hairclip. I had to turn off all my devices and put everything into a locker. The only thing you need out is your ID. They also scan your palm and take a photo of you. Then they ask you to pat yourself down and show nothing is in your pockets. They offered earplugs and a laminated scratch paper and marker to write on. Each test station had noise canceling headphones as well. Everything is sanitized. The testing room had about 15 or so stations. The temperature in here was good, not hot, not cold. I chose to use the earplugs and they worked well with minimizing sound distractions. What was distracting though, was the vibrations of the floor whenever people walked across!! Once I finished the exam, the result was printed on paper and handed to me at the front desk.

We have one more (stop motion animation) so will see. I doubt I would sign up for them again next year.

They explained that everything happened at the last minute and they're working on getting the location back so that way we can have an afterschool program for my child. This is not OK. I want a full refund right away. I should've known better but I really need an afterschool program for my daughter. I use them last year and there was a lot of disorganization and dysfunction. My daughter's art teacher last spring was horrible. Always on her phone. It was one teacher for over 16 kids. The teacher was supposed to be teaching art and the art projects would come back as pencil work on some scrap paper. I had no idea what I'm paying for. When I asked her why I was getting back scrap paper with pencil work. She said to me that she ran out of supplies and the dream enrichment office wasn't dropping off a replenishment of supplies for her, so she was just using scrap paper and pencils for multiple weeks. I recommended this after school program to my brother and sister-in-law for early engineers because my nephew loves legos and they were desperate looking for after school programs. I'm going to tell them to not send my nephew to this class because there are other programs out there. Please don't waste your money. Everything seems disorganized and very last minute. I also have to say that kids in the class do whatever they want and once they did get a replenishment of supplies they were very old and broken, such as broken crayons. I will never ever use this after school program again. Please save your money.

This weather has brought me inside to shied myself from the rain. The Department of Education is located on the Corner of Capital Park near the rose garden. It was built in 2002. It is the first state office building to incorporate an underfloor air-distribution system and is the state's first design-build office building. At least 25% of the building includes recycled materials, the lobby's marble floors were salvaged from the Library & Courts Building, circa 1923. They received the Leed Gold in 2003 for being a U.S. Green Building. In 2006 they received the Leed EB Platinum award. What does that all mean? The California Department of Education's green building efforts align with the California Green Building Standards Code (See Title 24, Part 11). This code sets mandatory measures for public schools and community colleges, covering energy efficiency, water conservation, material use, and environmental quality ICC Digital Codes. As an example, new or major renovations must meet specific performance standards for lighting, HVAC, insulation, and site design. For more information google cal green info. It's got nice architecture. Next time I'll take some pictures of the architecture. Today I just focused on the public space inside, the lobby. The lobby is toasty warm compared to the outside and there is a nice sitting area on the side of the wide-open windows. The windows are nearly floor to ceiling. To keep you safe they have a stand for purell hand sanitizer, but at the same time there is a sign that says don't touch the artwork. On the outside walking in there is a warning that weapons and all sharp objects are prohibited. They have 2 giant murals up. If you are a visitor you are instructed to sign in with security with a photo id. Jud Fine is the creator of the artwork in the lobby. Also, the final email they send before the assessment process was very late and hardly left the opportunity to prepare. Literally, the information was sent out 12 hours before interviews. I wasn't impressed and expected more for a company tasked with recruiting for vital positions. Considering their role is to assist the employer with finding candidates and the overall testing process to find the most qualified, you would think they would have their stuff together and make the process smoother.
