We didn't realize the pick up was in a different area and went to the front with our ticket and were given those instructions. The rooms were clean and fairly spacious. The shower never warmed up for me so that was meh but other than that, had a great time!

I flew to Florida and because I wanted to see some good Jai Alai and the new casino in Dania. Well, the Jai Alai was pretty good yet, whoever designed the venue hasn't a clue what they're doing. Talk about a poor layout. When I first walked into the Jai Alai portion of the facility I was shocked because I had heard that there was going to be some glass placed between the Jai Alai portion and the casino and so Jai Alai would still be a big part of the overall entertainment experience. Well,that wasn't the case and I'm thinking it's because as soon as the decoupling legislation gets passed, the ownership can more easily remove the wall and make the facility strictly a casino. As for the casino, the slots area has high ceilings and its lit up like a Christmas tree. Same goes for the bar located in the same area. Talk about uncomfortable. As for the security, they should clean house and beginning with the big guy who rudely stared at with when I chastised a player for not hustling. I didn't swear or do anything inappropriate yet, this goon gave me more than enough reason to never set foot in the place again. The fact the player was scratched from games the remainder of the night only confirmed that the player must have been injured and not playing to begin with. I could go on and on relative to how lacking the experience was but, here are just a couple of observations that management needs to address. 1. We ordered food from the deli and although it was good it took forever to get it. 2. We came back and bought a couple of cookie and they were so dry and stale that we had to throw them out. 3. The schedule they have or Jai Alai is ridiculous and because starting games on Tuesday and Saturday at 4pm and 10pm has got to be killing the handle. Nobody is there late at night and the simulcasts facilities in CT and elsewhere aren't even open at that late hour. What idiot came up with this schedule and why hasn't it been changed. 4. We also went to Miami and, although the Jai Alai facility was about as ghetto as it gets, their casino design and functionality blew away Dania. 5. Lastly, why is it that everyone you mention Dania Casino to in the area says the place is being run by the Mafia from Argentina. I don't say this is the case or even care but, the fact that I heard that more than often is a real problem relative to the chance this place has to succeed. They say Miami was taken over by loan sharks and so both places are surely a mess. read more

The Luxe Buffet is disgusting and beyond terrible, the food is inedible, the service is terrible. This is by far the worst buffet I've ever been to at any price point. A sad food selection with very few options. The hamburger grilling section must be a joke, the inedible unseasoned patties and the luxurious iceberg lettuce and american cheese.. wow, wow, wow. The carving board.... inedible brisket. yes, the featured selection at a $25 per person buffet on a Saturday night is brisket..... I've been to tiny lunch buffets for $15 a person that even had amazing prime rib so there is no excuse for cheap inedible brisket. The rotisserie chicken was cold jerky and inedible, the pulled pork was by far the worst dish in their tiny parade of horrors, that is saying something since everything was inedible and bad, I spat it out immediately. The management and staff are novice and inattentive, so bad in fact, that I suspect they have never seen, been to, spoken with someone who has been to, spoken with anyone who has ever spoken with someone who has ever been to a real "luxe" casino buffet. After loosing $500 very quickly again because this Casinos machines are either rigged or set to the low west payback percentage allowed by law, I went to players club to see if I had enough points for scratch offs, after waiting 10 minutes in line and It was my turn Jackie says "your not next how dare you, legends come first" even after the guy just got there the same time and it was my turn and he even said take me first so then Jackie at players clubs says I have enough for 2 scratch offs so I said ok I'll take them and she went to back and got them and as soon as she was about to scratch them for me she stops and says oh sorry I made a mistake you not qualified for them and I was in disbelief how can someone whos been working there for so long make a mistake at my expense and without explaining or showing me how she made a mistake and without any apology whatsoever, she refused to honor her mistake and so did the slot manager, so I have no faith in this casino this left a bad taste in my mouth. read more

If you want to loose your money and get nothing in return, not even dining credit, freeplay, and being told you have to loose at least $500 to even qualify for bounce back freeplay and the the host Craig says "actually the casino changed the terms now it's not based on your losses" and then saying it's on a weekly basis as opposed to normally the next day when you get the freeplay, how convenient after I loose $500 for them to change the policy immediately. Basically they want you to loose the whole week before they give you any freeplay maybe. I also tried the mojo pork tacos with rice and beans. It comes with three tacos and a mix of toppings as well as fresh lime on the side. I thought the tacos were fantastic and flavorful. They have a nice spice with jalapeño on them and the pork was melt in your mouth. I also loved the cilantro rice and beans. The outdoor patio is a blast with the tiki bar vibes and great live music on the stage. The service is amazing and they let you enjoy the atmosphere and not rush you. Unlike most restaurants you feel like you are on island time here with the laid back tiki vibes and live music. I love this spot more and more every time I get a chance to visit!
