I stopped in to this bowling alley a few months back to inquire about a league in efforts to meet some new people. It's located in the heart of Wilton Manors, and has a sports pub attached. I met the owner's son Austin, who laid out the specifics for me. I have some gay friends that bowl here, save he let me know gay bowling leagues are Tues/Thurs, hetero/mix M/W/F. So do whatever your flavor is lol There's a great little sports bar attached, Sports Den Pub that has great newer TV's and looks like it's a good time with regular type locals for popular sporting events. The Alley has 20! Lanes built in late 1950's and has all the classic makings of a regular old bowling alley. Everything seemed to be in excellent shape except for the bowling balls. Many were very beaten up, had massive pitting, and many could use replacement. However, I was able to find a couple of good balls and challenge my elderly father to the best of three games. -We had no problem setting up the games or with scoring. (My 86 year old Dad beat me BTW) lol :/ Games were $16 each with bowling shoes included. That is about the going rate that we would pay up in the tri-state, New England area these days. I had a great experience at Manor lanes. It is my closest bowling alley and it's got all the makings of a classic bowling alley, including bar type food and a decent Sports bar. Perfection for me, reminded me of the alleys I spent my childhood in. My dad who has bowled for over 70 years liked it as well, except for the condition of the balls. I'm looking forward to going back to Manor Lanes to bowl a few frames, and possibly get in on a league as a substitute :) read more

Ended up at Manor Lanes in Wilton Manors on a Saturday night after our movie plans fell through (thanks to a randomly closed theater). First impression: not the newest or flashiest bowling alley, but bigger than it looks from outside. Parking was slammed--had to park on the other side of the building where the other businesses were closed for the weekend. Check-in was... meh. The girl at the desk forgot to add two people to our lane, so I had to go back and ask her to add my name. Every interaction felt like I was bothering her--definitely not the warmest customer service vibe. There's a small sports bar attached so you can grab a drink while you play, which is a plus. We played two games, but our lane froze up twice and had to be fixed. They do sell socks, which saved me since I wasn't prepared to bowl. Didn't try the food, but the menu looked like standard bowling alley fare. Prices were reasonable, about what you'd expect. The place was busy, so if you're walking in on a weekend, be ready for a crowd. First is for most this is my first time visiting this place came with my family to celebrate Father's Day. I have such a great time. The bowling place was packed, the bowling lanes are well-maintained very fun and interactive, the noise level was very nice not too high. An amazing time! Despite how poorly I bowled, my party really enjoyed our time. It was on a Friday night so it was packed, but we made a reservation the day before. There was additional parking in the back. The staff were very friendly and they had an expansive food menu. I ordered some pretty tasty chicken tenders and fries that they brought over straight to my bowling lane. It was only 14 bucks for a lot of food which surprised me. 2 bowling games and shoes was also fairly cheap compared to other bowling allies I had been to. At 9pm they darkened the entire bowling alley, added projectors for the college football games which made all the bowling balls light up different colors. Under new ownership, Manor Lanes Bowling in Wilton Manors is a feel-good 20-lane alley with a connecting bar/lounge. With two entry ways; front and rear, there is plenty of parking and minor indoor remodeling/expansion is underway. Simon and his fabulous crew serve up New York-style pies, tater tots, fries, wings and the best-tasting North Italy meatballs in town! It was my first time but certainly not the last. Though smaller than other alleys I'm use to, Manor Lanes is welcoming, spacious, and they make for the best environment possible--for singles, doubles, and large groups like us. Manor lanes a 20 lane alley with a full sports bar. The place has been atound a long time, although the lanes seem to be in great shape the facility is in Need of repair and update. What i do like about this place is i never have to wait on a lane and the prices are good. I have not tried the food, that will be another day. I like the bowling area but the terrible service in the bar ruined my mood. Yesterday there was an older guy serving but mostly talking to his customer friends. The guy saw me waiting and didn't come over. A man walked in from outside and sat at the bar and the barman walked over, shook his hand and chatted for a while and served him. Then another new person he knew walked in and got served right away next to me. Eventually when he had finished talking and serving everyone else he possibly could he came to me. I ordered a beer and he took one out and opened it in front of me and then gave it to someone else. Eventually I got served. This bowling alley is probably the dirtiest and disgusting businesses in Broward. The food area is privately run and I have never dined there so no opinion of the food. Okay, let's just say I'm glad we went for a "matinee" type bowl when the place was mostly empty (besides a group of three awesome guys two lanes over that had to explain EVERYTHING to us because we had NO idea what we were doing!). I haven't gone bowling since someone's birthday party when I was 12, so I had no idea what to expect. But we had so much fun! Shoe rental was easy, there was a large selection of balls (believe me, we tried like 12 different ones assuming we sucked so bad "because of the ball" - nope!). Will definitely be back once we've had a little more practice to one of their weekend night "black light" open bowl nights. And you can bet I'll be there for karaoke! 10/10 would recommend! If you're unsure if you'll like it or not, there's usually a Groupon - but their in person prices aren't that bad! And actually, we could have gotten two hours for two people with shoe rental for about $10 more ($30) than we spent on the Groupon for 2 games for 2 with shoe rental ($20) which would have been a better deal. I've been here twice and always had a blast. The first time we came here late around 10 pm on a Saturday. It was packed and it was black light night. We ordered a couple of pitchers of beer and played a few games. The games were cheap, unlimited games for two hours; with shoe rentals it was about $22 per person. The second time we came on a Saturday at 3 pm and had the bowling alley to ourselves. We played for about three hours and had lots of fun. The attendant was really nice and took a picture for us. We also had the jukebox to ourselves and played like thirty songs. We used the app on our phone; we bought credits and it was 50 cents per song. The bar was definitely a dive/townie bar but the drinks were cheap and they had a few different type of beers to choose from. They had a big parking lot on site. Going to Manor Lanes Bowling sort of bowls you back in time. Though it doesn't have that sprucey up to date look about it, I like it better than most bowling lanes that do in that it has a certain old albeit out of date charm about it; kind of a step back in time effect. I've stopped by her a few time with the Intoxi Bowling Club. Yeah, I know, that's the club wherein, as the name implies, that bowling sober is considered to be unfair sportsmanship and generally prohibited. But though everyone in the club is bowling while drunk, seemingly one of the few things still legal to do and rather boisterous, overall fairly well behaved and considerate of fellow bowlers. So if the Intoxi Bowling Club is there when you are, get drunk, join in and have fun. Besides the bowling alleys, Manor Lanes also has the Sports Den, a sports bar, and Kingpins, a food service area specializing in wings and pizza. Like the alleys, the bar is rather dated looking but serves up a decent drink and Kingpins does a darn good job with its wings. Overall, I've found Manor Lanes Bowling to be one of the friendliest, wherein you really get to meet and chat with the other bowlers. With its casual laid back atmosphere the emphasis is clearly more about the camaraderie and fun of bowling rather than a place loaded with the intensity of high scoring achievements. I might also add that being located within Wilton Manors and though not at all gay, with nothing gay about it, gay friendly with gay friendly patrons; all being so characteristic and in keeping with social environment of what is Wilton Manors. read more

The go-to spot any day of the week. My boyfriend has introduced me to this gem in Wilton Manors. Since I've met him I've known him and his friends to visit multiple times a week. Manor Lanes isn't a new place that gives you those Dave & Busters vibes nor do they charge a million dollars per game. This is the perfect spot to roll some balls for a few hours with some friends. Granted the guys distributing bowling shoes and running the cash register aren't the friendliest, I wouldn't visit this bowling alley with intentions of receiving 5-star treatment. Connected to Manor Lanes is a sports bar that includes arcade games, a pool table, a countless amount of tvs and a makeshift stage for karaoke. The bar is known for its wonderfully heavy pours and quick staff. Overall, Manor Lanes gives you exactly what is expected of a bowling alley. I usually love this place because my girlfriend and I come every Monday to bowl. Austin is amazing at the front desk. However, this week we had someone new (or maybe old cause we usually only come on Mondays) & got told "no" to another game at 11:38. When they close at 12. I was extremely upset about this. We usually tip the front desk and take good care of them. However, to be told no to a at max 15 minute game of bowling for 2 people at 11:38 was not only a loss of revenue for the establishment but a loss of weekly regulars.... read more

After being to the Bird Bowl, Splitsville, and some other bowling alleys, this bowling alley, by comparison, is a true throwback to the past. - Old score screen - no animation - Old carpet - Greasy spoon food offerings - small, looked run-down - small parking lot (good luck on finding parking on a busy night) - popular with older clientele But the pluses are that it's cheap to bowl here and apparently they have some theme nights. read more

It is disappointing that I have to write this review but I think people need to understand the bad experience I had. Went to this place for a date night on a Saturday evening around 10 p.m. and wanted to get 2 games of bowling in. Paid for two games and shoes. Was asked to move from a lane for whatever reason after we setup and I complied. Went to find some bowling balls and literally there was not one ball available to be used that would be a good fit. The balls available all had holes so small that only a small child could fit their fingers in there. After searching every lane and asking people to check their available balls there were none to use. I tried to make due but my wife just couldn't, and I asked the guy in charge if there was a way that we could just only play one game because the experience was just not a good one. He would not even consider refunding the one game we were not gonna be able to play or allow us to use this game another time. It's not like I wanted shoes and the first game refunded, I just wanted the unplayed game to be refunded or utilized later and the response was "There is nothing I can do". Seems like a business that wants their customer's satisfaction would try a little harder to ensure we have a good time but that does not seem to be a priority here. Hopefully this review will enlighten others to spend their money elsewhere and avoid a business not willing to even try to make their customers feel like they got their back. read more

It's a cool little spot friendly people can't really complain. The price is a little high, but I guess that's life.

I was bringing my son to go bowling so we could have fun. NOPE!!!!!!!!! Computers didn't count our spares nor strikes, pin was fallen and no one came to fix it, had to ask repeatedly for them to correct that no pins where standing. When my son got a spare, it said he knocked down only 6 pins. Music too loud and vending machines lie. My son got so mad I let him have a snack even though it costed 40 cents more than what it said. And the only reason why he was mad was because he was winning 81 to 51 and when I knocked down 4 pins suddenly it gave me 30 points and I won 82 to 81. Not to say I didn't like that but to show how broken the computer was. If that hadn't happened I probably would have had a much nicer Christmas night. After what happened tonight, I am never patronizing Manor Lanes again. I went w/ some friends to Manor Lanes for the first time on New Years Eve 2016. We had never been there before. The service at Manor Lanes was excellent and all of the staff was friendly, easygoing and helpful. We were sold on going back. Tonight (so 2 months later) the same group of us went back. I called on Thursday to make reservations for Saturday night, and was told that the leagues all wrapped up by 6:00pm, so anytime 6:30 or after would be fine. So we show up and our experience was a disaster: 1) The Front Desk Guy (FDG) was surly and unpleasant, and acted like he didn't want to be there. Now look... I get that people have bad days, and not everyone wants to prance around like Princess Fairy Gumdrop SugarKisses. I'm fine with that. But if you're the first impression people have of your business, you should at least try to act like you care about the place. 2) FDG demanded that a) we pay for both the game and our shoes upfront, and b) we leave one of our shoes as collateral at the front desk. Neither of these things were asked of us on New Years Eve: we only paid for our shoes upfront, not the game, and we were allowed to keep all of our shoes with us at all times. 3) I then went to buy food and soda for our group. I go up to the food counter and ask the guy there if they have the same meal deal that they had on New Years Eve (free pitcher of soda with the purchase of an XL pizza plus tenders). The guy replies: "we aren't open on New Years." The tone of his voice implied that I was lying about being there on New Years in order to make up a fake meal deal and get a free pitcher of soda. Look, jerk, I am not so fucking hard-up for money that I need to make up a story to get a free 2 liter of Diet Coke. Furthermore: yes your business was open on New Years Eve. It's not my fault if you're not even aware of what days your own establishment operates. I tried to make a joke about it with the guy to diffuse the tension, but he repeatedly insisted that they were closed on New Years and that I was lying. 4) At this point I'm getting upset but since my friends were waiting, I quickly placed my food order. The guy placed the order, swiped my credit card, filled up a pitcher of soda... and then walks away without a word. I'm standing there wondering WTF is going on, since I have a pitcher of soda, no glasses, no other food, and no receipt for my order (my receipt is still in the register, behind the counter, and I'm not comfortable touching the register without permission). 5) A few minutes later the food guy comes back with something wrapped in plastic (I can't see what's under the plastic). I politely say "excuse me, where do I get cups for the soda?" He angrily spits out: "i just TOLD YOU, i was GOING to GET your GLASSES." He then produces plastic cups from underneath the plastic wrap. Excuse ME asshole, I can't read your mind. You walked away without saying a word AFTER i pump more money into your business. And then when I ask him a very simple and polite question, he replied by verbally spitting in my face. 6) At this point I'm regretting coming here entirely. I go back to my friends w/ the soda and cups. We start bowling. The food arrives shortly thereafter and we think everything is going fine. Just then, the first guy (front desk guy, FDG) comes over to us out of nowhere and says "I have some bad news guys." He then says that apparently, several leagues were scheduled for the area where our lane was located, and he was asking us to move so they could all bowl together side by side. At this point we much lost our shit. After all the unpleasantness, accusations of lying, and overall hostile and shitty service, we were now being asked to be inconvenienced for other customers. I want to repeat this in case the managers of Manor Lanes are reading this: AFTER WE PUMPED MONEY INTO YOUR BUSINESS, YOU ESSENTIALLY TOLD US THAT WE MATTERED LESS THAN YOUR OTHER CUSTOMERS. Me and my boyfriend both said "Look, we'll move if you toss us a bone. Give us a free game or a free food or something." FDG just gives us this blank stare and says absolutely nothing. We repeat the request: toss us a bone, something, ANYTHING in exchange for us being repeatedly treated poorly, and we will gladly move to accommodate your other customers. Instead, he refused. He refuses every tiny little request we make. So guess what? We refused too. We simply said "no, we're not moving. Deal with it." We then both told him exactly why we weren't moving (bad unfriendly service since the minute we walked in) and FDR just shrugs and walks away. Suffice to say we finished our game, left, and will never be giving them future business. read more
