This is Nancy Kelly. What would I do without Galuppies??? LOL I'm there every day around 4 o'clock for an iced tea and a couple of ginger ales. I love sitting at the outside bar because I don't feel like i'm sitting in a bar! Nice view of the golf course. Food is pretty good, wings, hamburgers, salad. It's not a five star restaurant , it's a golf course lol Debbie, Jimana, Jana and others are awesome bartenders! Always nice people at the bar to chat with. The live music is always fantastic.Happy hour music and the big bands. Dinner shows as well. A great brunch on sunday. Chris the male manager with white hair and Christine , are great, and a new manager named Rick, who seems to be very nice. It has been a little quiet there, but in another couple of weeks, everybody will be coming down for the fall and things will really pick up! They do a nice job with weddings. I was searching for Mother's Day brunch and this place had availability and seemed one of the most reasonable as restaurants increase prices for Mother's Day. Galuppis normal price is $ 29.95 and their Mother's Day was $59.99 . They had outdoor and indoor seating .i usually like outdoor buta bit warm dressed up for the day . I paid a deposit to reserve the spot which was earlier than I actually wanted at 10:00 am when they first opened but still was ok. They had outdoor and I door buffett and also 2 sides inside to go too for certain foods They offered bottomless mimosas of differ flavors I did like the mango one Waffles were offered as the carb for breakfast besides potatoes . I would have also wanted a French toast on egg bread. A suggestion for the waffles would also have been side toppings/fixings as in fruit, Nutella, flavors syrups, whip cream etc. the employee thought that would be a good idea . After my 3rd time at the waffles I actually used a dessert chocolate mousse that had a dab of whip cream and spread it on the waffle , pretty inventive and good. They had a raw seafood area with crab legs, salmon, tuna,shrimp, etc 2 carving sations with ham and prime rib which was really juicy and I also added the sweet ham glaze to my ham slices. I only had a little bit of eggs and potatoes as I enjoy waffles more. The penne a la vodka was good and salmon too. There was brisket and I'm the other choices that I do not eat . The dessert station had chocolate mousse,mi no I tarts, cbrowinies. And warm breading which was delicious . I may come back on a regular Sunday as the price is pretty reasonable at $29.99 Galuppis is surrounded by a golf course. They offer catered events and parties for weddings or other venues. There was a DJ outside playing music as well as every weekend with different bands to listen and dance too The food was consistently replenished and I saw no signs of an empty tray which was nice . There is a boardwalk one can walk on and take pictures for events . Always something happening here to check out. read more

Love meeting up with our long term friends at Galuppi's for dinner and show. We reserved a table for 8 under a planked ceiling and were basically the first table next to the stage. Legends of the South Band was performing. They were fun and lively and very loud unfortunately. I was dancing in my seat. Others were up and dancing and having a blast. It just so happens that last night's performance was half price and we also paid for our dinner which is off the menu specifically for this performance. You have a choice of about six or seven meals, including a salad and a dessert. I had the Poké bowl and my husband had the French dip. I love my meal and his meal was good also. Liquor and coffee was extra. This is a very fun night eating, drinking, and listening to fun music for an inexpensive fare. The venue is located on a golf course. On a Saturday morning a group of 20 of us got together for brunch. Galuppi's is off Rt #1, on the grounds of the Pompano Beach Golf Course facing a small lake, bridge, fountains, and patio. There was plenty of free parking and valet parking available. Galuppi's is a popular American restaurant in Pompano Beach known for its extensive outdoor patio, live music with golf course & water views. This casual dining spot is a nice place to host banquets, events and weddings. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, Sunday buffet brunch & happy hours are served with a variety of entertainment options. Happy Hour drink and appetizer specials on Monday through Thursday 4 o'clock until 7 o'clock and Friday until 6:00. The menu looked appealing and reasonably priced with sandwiches, salads, burgers, tacos & appetizers. We enjoyed a delicious buffet brunch in the garden room. Caesar salad, rolls, broccoli, potatoes, penne vodka, eggplant Parmesan, chicken with capers, and mahi were in chafing dishes. It was noisy, golfers were lousy paged next to us. When golf carts backed up they were noisy. Our meal wasn't hot, food didn't have much flavor, it wasn't special. It was was just okay. read more

If you're looking for a night out with live music in the "outdoors" this is your place! Such a fun evening. Galuppi's s in Pompano - they have valet parking, a full bar and food service available. Live cover bands are there and patrons are welcome to dance! This is a great place, for a great time - - but the food is really only adequate. My nachos were loaded with liquid cheese so they were soggy. My friend had a steak with much too much pepper. The salads looked ok. HOWEVER - we didn't come for the food! The drinks were healthy sized and tasty - everyone had a wonderful time. read more

The staff serving was so nice, helpful and kind . I ordered a veggie burger and fries and it was really good . I never know what to expect when I order one since there are many brands and varieties . I went here with a group for a friend's birthday. It is very nice but it has gotten more and more costly to go here. You have to pay practically $150 a table if you are up close and that is without food. We went to see and hear the band "Studio 54" who were very good. I did have the salmon which I had them leave the sauce off (I was happy because the salmon was delicious). We enjoyed ourselves and I would recommend it to all who like music! read more

Came here for Journey/Styx cover band! They were amazing! It was so fun to sit and hangout while listening to the great music. Giving this spot 3 stars because I didn't find the food too appetizing. The charcuterie board was just okay. It felt like they just took a few pieces of deli meats and slapped it on the plate. It didn't taste fresh to me at all. I really didn't like my margarita either. It was bitter and tasted bad. I felt everything was overpriced for what I received unfortunately. read more

20 of us had a lunch get together. We were seated outdoors and with the breeze from nature's wind and the ceiling fans it was comfortable. It was buffet style where we had mahi mahi fish, eggplant parmesan, chicken piccata to go with garlic and herb roasted potatoes and a cheesecake parfait. The food itself was adequate. I always have a great time here, they have some excellent bands that come here especially on the weekends, but they have music every night. It's just a nice place to relax with your friends and have a few beers and have some fun dancing. I like going here for big sporting events too because they have really large screen and there's usually a big crowd making the game exciting. read more

Sounds of the Four Seasons dinner and show for $180. Dinner was ok, sad salad. Fish and chips was frozen overcooked dried out pieces. The artist played other pieces and kept plugging his other shows... very tacky! They did not sound like Frank Valli n the Four seasons, this was one of the worst tribute bands we've seen. read more

After spending some time driving around, looking at potential wedding venues, my BF does a U-Turn and says, let's see this place, Galuppis. I realized I've had it tagged for a while (assuming for their brunch) but had not realized they were a golf club too and had event areas. So, we go in, started looking around, very pretty outdoor areas. We talk to one of the restaurant staff who immediately introduced us to Anna. She is part of the catering team and was so nice showing us around the venue options. She showed us all the different possibilities we had for the type of wedding we want. And gave us the card of the events manager to get more accurate information later. Decided since we were already there to have a drink and discuss what we had seen so far. The bartenders were super friendly, very lively / fun vibe, and they had live music too. We are still deciding on venue but was very happy we stopped here and had a good experience. read more

We are in the mood for some music and dinner, but I'm short notice not much was available except Galuppi's. So we thought we'd give it a try. It was hot and humid and that wasn't a good start. We went and sat down on the super hard benches and waited for service. Finally someone brought some water over and then the wait for menus and we ordered it was an odd presentation from my perspective. The snapper was OK with some tasteless white sauce covered it and we expected music, but there was none we arrived on time and had to pay $15 per person to sit in that area. While the food wasn't terrible it took a long time to be served. It wasn't great and the ambience was just a noisy outdoor space with no music And hard seats. In fairness, we might try it again maybe when the weather cools off. read more

this is a spot that you could review for amny different times of things. There is the food of the restaurant, the way it might interact as a club house of the gold course, the wedding and functions part, or just as a bar hang. We were there for the latter 2. We hadn't made an appointment but we were in the area and thought it might have a wedding and reception area. after parking we walked into the side area. They seemed to be cleaning up from a event that was just held there. we asked a couple people about their space. The right gal wasn't there, but a very kind lady was, and she showed us around. The spot outside for a ceremony and the adjoining space for receptions was very nice. I for sure marked it as one of the spots we had seen so far. Afterwards we popped in a for a drink at the bar. There were plenty of people having a good time. A band was just starting up, the Turnstiles. The were playing some Billy Joel. The service was great, the vibes were great, and we liked their event spaces. Galuppi's is pretty good. read more

Excellent food, excellent service. We asked for a table inside because the patio is lively but still very nice. This was our first time here and we will be back to try brunch and bring friends with us. Totally worth a try. I don't think you will be disappointed. Came here with family for Thanksgiving Buffet. Rarely dine out on holidays because quality is usually sacrificed in favor of quantity. Not so here. In spite of inclement weather, the staff handled the dinner crowd fairly well, and worked efficiently. We were seated within 10 minutes of our reservation time. The Buffet tables were set up in various areas, to allow minimal travel from your table. The food was hot and plentiful, with the steam tables being replenished continually. The carving stations with turkey, ham and prime rib was also a nice touch. Everything was prepared well and quite tasty. The dessert tables also presented a nice assortment of pies, cookies and brownies. Since it was my first visit here, I was skeptical. I will, however, return for dinner and enjoy their regular entertainment. read more

Galuppi's is a laid back, have fun kind of place that ranges from 3-4 stars depending on what you want to make of it. For vegetarians this place will have limited options and some of it is glorified bar food. I found the service to be fun & friendly and the pricing lower than most places. They have live music all nights that I'm aware of and they have plenty of outdoor and inside seating and bar areas. They also host events and parties so that is a plus and so is the rather large parking area. This place is an institution in Pompano. They offer a brunch option for $30.00 as of this writing. Open later than most so you can relax for longer. read more

Have you been looking for a great night out with the other half but not interested in Clubbing! Listen up, it's time to enjoy some Live Music and a great ambiance. Galuppi's is a great spot for some drinks, some great fun and some pretty good food. We came in to enjoy a tribute to Fleetwood Mac but it's a different type of band every day. Had a few beers, enjoyed some great music and but if course each other's company. Great service, Carlos was attentive and was quick with getting our various orders. We hosted a baby shower here a couple of weeks ago. It was a pleasure to work with Melanie and Ray. Then day of event, Captain Liz and Lisa were amazing. Liz and Lisa were readily available to support our event. People are still talking about the food, we chose the lunch buffet which included (our picks) Penne alla Vodka, Chicken Piccata, Brisket among other things. We reserved the Palms room and there was plenty of space and seating. We had between 5 and 8 people per table and we were not crowded. So happy we chose Galuppi's for our event! read more

We made reservations for Easter Brunch at $69 PP, with the confirmation TWICE that we could order off the regular menu, which was not the case when we arrived. Also, the ad stated that non-alcoholic beverages were included in the price. After checking our receipt we found that there was more than $35 added for such beverages. When questioning the charge, the manager said that was the was not the case. After reading the ad to him stating the policy, he agreed to adjust the check. That is TWO cases of Bait and Switch. The check was more than $900 including a 22% service charge for a buffet. The food was mediocre at best. Needless to say, we will not be returning to Galuppis read more

Established in 2005.

History of the Owner's Pat Galuppi established Pat's Game Room and Tavern in Pompano Beach in 1975. In 1986 Pat moved his business across the street and Pat's Place was born. Pat's sports bar ran successfully for many years until Pat sold the business in 1999. In January of 2005, following a 6 year hiatus from the restaurant business, Pat and his son Grant took on the challenge of re-opening the restaurant at the Pompano Beach Golf Course. Following extensive remodeling; Galuppi's opened for business in March of 2005

Meet the Business Owner: Grant G.

Galuppi's restaurant is owned by Grant and Pat Galuppi. Pat Galuppi has been a prominent business owner in Pompano beach for many years. Beginning with a few endeavors in the early seventies, he made a name for himself with the opening of "Pat's Place" in Pompano Beach. After a five-year hiatus, Pat was joined by his son, Grant in 2004. Together they took over the food and beverage at the Pompano beach Golf Course. They renovated the previous restaurant adding on a dining room and patio bar. Galuppi's opened in 2005, and 8 years later in 2013, Grant opened his second restaurant Galuppi's on the Go followed by Galuppi's 620 Subs n' Salads with his wife Lauren. Pat has since retired and Grant now operates Galuppi's.

It is an ocean-view king room. This means the room is on the side of the building but still had a great view of the ocean. You enter valet on the northern side of the building. The valet Matt was quick, friendly and helped with my luggage. Valet is $44 a day. There was a short line at the front desk but there were two employees working and it went quick. The $45 resort fee covers chairs and umbrellas on the beach and two complementary drinks. You can pick from a small list of drinks including beer, g&t and wine. They also offer a morning exercise routine. Monday was yoga by the pool. The room was large with a nice modern design, a small couch and side table and a nice balcony with two chairs and a table. There was a coffee maker and fridge but no microwave. We ordered room service and had breakfast out on the balcony one morning. There were games setup in one of the meeting rooms right outside the pool and free popcorn was offered daily. The pool was large with plenty of chairs but people did save seats early in the morning. I went down at 9am and there were about five seats not claimed and only around eight people at the pool. Everyone else started showing up to their saved chairs around 10am. The pool did get less crowded with fewer children as the day went on. By 3pm there were more open chairs available. The beach is right outside the gate. Along with the chairs and umbrellas there is a sand pit with toys for the kids, a tiki bar and volleyball net. The hotel is very clean with modern decor. It is in a very residential area so there aren't any shops or restaurants around to walk too. Everything is about a mile south near the pier. It was the perfect place for rest and relaxation which is exactly what I was looking for.

No chairs, all 4 days we were there (party of 8). The welcome drinks were gin, non-ach or wine... Service was extremely slow, the pool was overcrowded, and the staff was so cranky/rude that everyone seemed to dislike their job. For a hotel marketed as a remodeled, luxury spa retreat, this was disappointing and not what we paid for. The icing on the cake was waiting 30m+ to valet our car due to the influx of people coming and going, oh, and having to bring our own luggage up and down due to no carts. Spoke with Ricardo about our entire stay, and he just stared at my husband, then proceeded to say, "Well, when you go to Disney on a holiday weekend, it's going to be busy." Sir... when I go to Disney, I know it's going to be crowded because it's DISNEY. You're a Marriott selling $400+ rooms a night and over-crowding your hotel, causing your guests to not enjoy the amenities you're claiming to provide, then when we say we are unhappy, you don't even bother trying to work with us; you looked annoyed. I wish we read the comments before staying because it seems to be a recurring theme.

I also received plenty of butter (so many places don't give you enough butter) an ample amount of steamed milk for my tea (another area that always seems to be pretty hard to get right). One thing that always drives me crazy was the fact that my scrambled eggs were served in the same dish as my pancakes. I hate this as the syrup inevitably gets to the eggs. Fortunately, I had a second small dish under my tea (which is also a great thing to get, to place my tea bag). I used this dish for my eggs. Another nice convenience was the mug for my tea which had a handle that I could actually put my fingers through (another area that restaurants fail to provide). In addition, I also ordered a side of sausage which came in patties form and was pretty tasty. The Bottom Line: As always my "customer so what" would I come back? The answer, probably. Although the ambiance was substandard, the food was good the service was as well so, it more than likely would be worth another visit on my next stop in town.

1 Star rates as not good - I rate this -0 stars as HORRIBLE MAMA'S VIEW = GALUPPIS ALLOWS THEIR PATRONS TO BE ASSAULTED AND DO NOTHING ABOUT IT - THEY WILL COVER FOR THE ABUSER AND DO NOTHING FOR THEIR ASSAULTED PATRON!!! BEWARE!!! I would give -0 stars if if I could! I used to go to this place so often since 2019 it used to be referred to as "The Spot" - I even know where the "secret" bathroom is and never have to wait in line. Sadly the last time I attended on 04/09/2019 they had the mask police out who were harassing everyone (I even made 3 friends (to this day) bonding over this) - well one security guy began to harass me and when I asked for his name (I didn't realized my mask had slipped below my nose while I was dancing having a good time) he refused - so when I went to take his photo he grabbed my hand and phone and slammed them both on the table! I did not want to get all dramatic and cause a scene so I opted to file a police report the next day - well sadly I should have caused a scene. 1. I first spoke with manager Amber who advised me that since they began using the security company they have had a barrage of complaints and apologized - when I questioned since this is the case why do they continue to use them and what will be done about my physical assault? - she then called Alicia Simpson who seamed to be the manager in charge. 2. Alicia Simpson confirmed that they have had nothing but complaints since using this third party security company - and again NOTHING was done. 3. When I was speaking with Alicia, he happened to walk in so I pointed him out and while we were all talking and I was reiterating what occurred he literally tried physically assault me in front her not once but twice causing her to become a physical barrier between us and she still did nothing! This was manager Alicia Simpson. 4. When I asked her for his name she said she did not know because they were from an outsourcing third party - she did not even know the name of the company they hired when I asked her for that information. She told me to go to info@galuppis.com to find out- what kind of incompetence is this? I used to be a manager of different establishments and I always knew who was on my premises and if the workers were going to interact with my members, or customers I always knew their names. What a way to pass the buck and not accept responsibility. 5. Alicia Simpson did not speak to the people at my table to see what they witnessed as that would have been counter productive and the table next to us where it occurred suddenly forgot how to speak not wanting to get involved (thanks assholes) 6. NO ONE spoke to the people that I was with as they said it would be counter productive and that since they were with me there statements could be viewed as biased - yet they took statements from his co-workers - sounds pretty damned bias to me! The people I was with were a friend, my boss and business partner. 7. The security guard was allowed to finish his whole night of work - he was never sent home and I was never apologized to by anyone from the establishment! I filed a police report the next day = 8 . Once the police went to investigate - they were told that I was the problem all night and that the security guard kindly took my phone from me and placed it on the table!!! The manager Alicia Simpson said she spoke with his co-workers and they told her that I was causing problems all night - she clearly lied and if they had cameras then they would have been able to see that what I said was the 100% factual truth - I am so disgusted with this place now. I used to promote them now I will warn against them! Why would she admit any wrong doing - in doing so she would be admitting fault upon herself. GALUPPIS ALLOWS THEIR PATRONS TO BE ASSAULTED AND DO NOTHING ABOUT AND DO NOTHING TO PROTECT THEM!!! The name of the guy who assaulted me apparently is Rodney and the name of the outsourcing third party company is GSI Holding and the owner is Jared - who apparently NEVER answers the phone according to the officer who tried to reach him. THEY WILL GO AS FAR AS CALLING THE COPS ON YOU !!!!! Our family, my children, husband and friends, a group of 10 people went there for their Mothers Day Brunch on May 12th of 2019. During our time there, our children and a couple of the adults from our group were in fact able to step, walk and even take pictures on their wooden bridge with the greens as a background. However after spending $556.00 on our Brunch, we were getting to leave the premises when I wanted to take a picture on their wooden bridge and as I was trying to even place my foot on it, which by the way is used for advertising to attract people to come to their restaurant / venue, I was not asked but instead disrespectfully and in a very mean manner yelled by a golf ranger to not take pictures on their bridge because it was only for golfers. The golf ranger not only did not reason with us who were politely asking to simply take a picture, which by the way, as a Wedding Officiant had not only seen my clients but also taken pictures with them on their bridge, patio and banquet area without ever being told that was only for golfers. The worst was that he used his radio to call someone to come to handle the "situation". Then, a gentleman, who by the pictures I've seen on the restaurant's history, seemed to be the actual owner, came at us and literally without even asking anything simply and in a very mean and upset tone yelled at us: Get our of here!!! I'll call B.S.O. Get out of here!!!! To which of course, I responded: Go ahead, please do, call the cops because I would like to know what did we do wrong? By this time, my younger kid's had gotten into our car and were waiting for us, and my oldest daughter who has a 3 week old baby and her boyfriend had also gotten into their car, getting ready to leave and meet with the rest of us again at my house in Deerfield Beach. The others that were still with me, my husband and a couple of other friends stayed behind so we could actually take pictures before leaving. They, witnessed everything!!!! Things got worse when management kept yelling at us and literally brushing us off and escorting out of the restaurant, in front of everyone!!!! It was not only embarrassing but in fact humiliating!!!!! Someone from their management even called the cops on me after I made a point to let the people around us and in their brunch area know to be careful not to try to take pictures on their bridge unless they were golfers because management would probably do the same that we're doing to me and my family to them without any consideration that it was Mother's Day. Then, as the cops arrived and asked us what happened, despite of the fact that I asked them to look for the golf ranger who had started the whole thing, as well as the man from management who came out and literally kicked us out of the restaurant, they did not do anything but to ask my husband to take me home!!!! Without any reason!!! They never called the golf ranger to ask questions or to confront him or the restaurant manager/owner. They simply went by what they were told when the restaurant called and that was it. Shame on them!!!! I WILL NEVER AGAIN RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT/BANQUET TO ANY OF MY WEDDING CLIENTS, as they do not deserve our hard earned money spent on their discriminating place!!!!!! Unfortunately I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone I cared about. We came in for rib night on a Monday with my family and I and were not impressed. We were placed in a crowded dinning room which seemed to have no air conditioning it was like eating dinner in a locker room. One thing I can say is that this place is nowhere near fine dinning whatsoever, the plastic chairs and plastic pull out tables that you would find at an outdoor barbeque were a bit tacky to me. When we unrolled our silverwear it was clear they were barely washed and not polished at all because some still had food particles on them. The one good thing about the night was our server he kept us laughing and happy as possible. Even though the ribs came out fairly quick they weren't very hot and fries were cold. We had them taken back to get heated up. I asked to speak with a manager but it was clear they were too busy to want to speak with a distraught customer. I guess we weren't that important. Any other restaurant I would have had a manager insuring that this was an honest mistake and doing everything possible to make sure our experience was not ruined. But not here. One of the managers walked by our table and looked at us but did not say anything instead just left a foul odor of cigarette smoke as he passed which was a little unprofessional. None of the managers looked happy or friendly in any way almost non approachable. So overall we were not impressed and probably will not be coming back on such a night. The only bright areas were the servers, I could ask any of them for something and they would get it for us no problem. We booked the father's day brunch buffet. Upon arrival we were sent outside. It was an extremely hot day, the fans were not on in the section we were put in not any cooling apparatus to make people comfortable either. We were never told it was outside seating amd the buffet was a very long walk inside to get to. I complained to a manager, who sent us to another hot outside area. We were told all inside tables were full. We were not the only table recently seated that was shocked and unhappy with the seating. We had elderly guests from Germany with us and this outside seating temp was unacceptable. I went inside and noticed almost ALL of the tables were empty! This was 2pm and the event was open for a minimum of another hour till the last seating was scheduled. I was told there was an event at 5pm thats why the tables were not being sat.I complained to a different manager, I think the GM and he got us an inside table in this air conditioned room. Then we went to the buffet. I was looking forward to the seafood and the crab legs. This is why I picked their buffet. They were OUT, I asked if more would be coming soon and I was told NO that they were completely out. Running out so early of an obviously popular item and for a not so cheap price is not acceptable along with not telling people they would be outside in extreme heat without any proper cooling apparatus and add that we were lied to about all inside tables were full. The other food option were OK, just ok. I was very disappointed and embarrassed as I recommended this buffet to our visiting European friends. I had my wedding at Galuppi's on November 21st 2014. My wife and I were very pleased and couldn't be happier. Our intentions were to have the ceremony and party outside on the patio but the weather did not cooperate with our plans. One hour before the wedding was scheduled we had to make the decision to bring everything inside. Our room was already set up and prepared and had to be modified. Tammy took charge and with a quick 10 minute discussion had a plan and course of action to make it happen. They set up a dance floor at one end of the room, made space for the DJ and rearranged all the tables to make a nice cozy setting for our ceremony and reception. And all of this went down with a smile on their faces all the while reassuring us that it would all be beautiful......which indeed it was! The food was FANTASTIC! I've been to many weddings where the food was ok or average at best, but our dinner was absolutely delicious. It was definitely on par with a 4-5 star restaurant. The wait staff and service was outstanding and courteous, timely and accurate. We had three or four of our guests that had special needs for their meals and was handled professionally and pleasant. Everybody loved it! I would like to thank Melanie who coordinated our wedding from planning to implantation, Tammy who took charge of all of our last minute needs and all of the staff throughout the entire experience. I went on 11/13/2020. The band was great, we really enjoyed their performance. We have seen them twice now and they are better each time. Unfortunately, the manager on duty at Galuppi's was less than acceptable. His name was James, a skinny radical liberal telling Patrons to got and f***k themselves because they got up from their chairs without a mask to take a picture. #MaskNazis I made the mistake and wore an NRA hat on top of that and he went off on me like a rocket. He said to me "Put on a f***king mask or sit the f***k down, it's not that difficult." Then I took a picture of him because at that time I didn't know his name. He saw me taking the picture and ran towards me, pulled down his mask, his face about 6 inches away from my face, and yelled at me, "Here I am, take another f***king picture before I kick your a$$ out." So, let me say this, if you are a conservative, do not go to Gullupi's. You are better off taking your money and burning it. I have called twice and asked to speak to somebody above James the radical liberal, but with no avail. Several staff members have told me that this is not the first time James is doing this. We had our wedding here a number of months ago, and worked with a woman named Diane. She is fantastic. We joked that she was our chaos coordinator because she dealt with my wife, entire family, myself, among having to be our middle man between the chaos at the restaurant, and let me just say she handled it beautifully and was incredible to work with. Considering all the things this restaurant has going on at any given time, I've always been impressed at the overall professionalism and smoothness of how they run things. On any given weekend, they have multiple weddings, meetings, events, fundraisers, on top of regular restaurant patrons, two bars, and concerts. They also run everybody's favorite thing about Pompano Beach...the cart girl service! So some of these reviews, should keep that in mind. I absolutely love Galuppi's!! My husband and I were recently married at Galuppi's on July 28th 2012. It was the most amazing experience in the world. I was blessed to have Melanie help with will all my wedding needs. The vendors used for the all inclusive packages were absolutely amazing too! Mind you our wedding was not easy, it was Miami Dolphin themed, and they made it come together perfect! I've read other reviews and can't see how people weren't satisfied. The food is delicous, Aaron the chef is fantastic! The catering staff accomodated my guests every need! From the moment I started planning my wedding up until the actual day, Melanie and the Galuppi's staff made it easy, stress free and unforgettable!! I work 1/4 of a mile from Galuppis in Pompano Beach for approximately 15 years and they have always had pretty good food . But about 3 years ago on 3 consecutive visits within 3 weeks the service was terrible . On 2 of the 3 visits it was not busy at all. Which is really unacceptable. After a 3 year boycott, 2 months ago I decided to give it another try. I'm very glad I did because the bartender Jules has been fantastic the last 5 times I've visited. She's very outgoing and friendly. She's very accommodating to any special requests and very attentive to everyone at the bar . Whether it's food or drinks. The service provided at Galuppi's for our wedding was INCREDIBLE!!!! We had our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception there and I can't begin to RAVE about our experience with them!! From the first time we went there we fell in love with the venue. It's even more beautiful than the pictures show!! Cecilia is the best!!! She was super helpful and any questions or concerns I had she answered right away. The entire staff was on top of everything the day of!!The food was AMAZING thanks to their wonderful chef Aaron!!! I booked a reservation for my husband's birthday, thinking that it was going to be great but it was the opposite. Waitress had a terrible attitude, birthday was not acknowledged, drinks took for ever to arrive and them all the food came cold , beer was warm , we had to asked for them to be changed. For a large party you will expect for the food to arrive at once, not the case. Everything came on different times, steak was not cook as desired. We overheard the waitress complaining to others that she was tired and ready to.leave, we can see that. Very poor service, mediocre food and not attention to detail whatsoever. I would give the place 4 stars if the outside bartender with the tattoos wasn't such an A$$. The redheaded bartender...Mike is awesome, Jade, Alli, even Karen are amazing!! The tattoo guy is hurting business and making locals look for another venue...he is rude, argumentative and inappropriate! He overcharges everyone! He's cussed out customers and told them to find another place to go if they aren't happy, after people question why they're overcharged! I hope Grant looks closely into this guy because he's going to be the reason business is slow!!!! Between myself, friends and family we spend 5-10000 dollars there a year! We stopped by this restaurant/bar for some dinner and cocktails on a Wednesday evening. We enjoy sitting at the bar when we go out and it was very enjoyable here. The other patrons at the bar were very friendly and we had some great conversations going. We ordered cocktails, a martini and a vodka/soda both great. We also ordered the ahi tuna salad and a buffalo chicken salad..both were excellent! The cheesecake we shared was served in a martini glass and was so good. The drinks and food were excellent and the service was spot on..a thumbs up to our bartender/server Adam who did a great job. We are very regular patrons of this fabulous venue/restaurant. Each time we decide to go either for the Friday or Saturday nite shows, we are greeted by the lovely server Delilah! Delilah will go out of her way to make sure you have an amazing evening. She'll even sit down at our table and visit for a few minutes assuring us that we'll be well taken care of during the evening. I've been here a few times to enjoy the music and food in the bar area. I have to say that our server, Stefani was the best. We ordered apps and she told me they had run out of the crab cakes. So we ordered something else. The next thing I knew, the runner came out with the crab cakes. Apparently, whatever Stefani did to make it happen, was great. She was so attentive and made us feel so welcome. She is an asset to this restaurant. We eat out a lot, and I have to say that Stefani went out of her way to make our visit do nice. Extremely disappointing and honestly unacceptable experience. We paid over $5,000 and received service that didn't even meet basic standards. The event was completely disorganized -- staff had no idea who was getting which food, creating confusion the entire time. The quality of service and food was poor, and the bar situation was outright misleading. We paid for a premium bar and were served cheap Tito's vodka instead. It truly felt like once they received full payment upfront, they stopped caring altogether. For the amount of money charged, this level of service is unacceptable and unprofessional. We come here every Saturday to golf because of Kim and Megan. They are truly amazing women. Your beer will never go cold when they are working! Even when they are super busy, they are just a text away and will come to save the day with a smile and beer in hand! Saturdays are a great time out there. We all have so much fun and they truly take amazing care of us and treat us like friends. We really love this team of people. When we are done we go into the bar for food and have more drinks w great bartenders. We've never had a bad experience here on Saturdays. We love Galuppi's! Been here regularly for many years, and it just keeps getting better and better, like fine wine. Outstanding menu, consistently great and despite the enormous size of this venue, the service keeps pace. The salmon, Philly cheesesteak, burgers, and the skirt steak are our favorites. In season, the recently upgraded stage, provides a terrific backdrop for viewing, with the golf course and general aviation airport as bonus vistas. The food is fantastic, their grounds is beautiful on the green (golf course) with lovey flowers and a pretty trellis walkway. The prices are by far the best for the value you receive!! Their food all of it is cooked on their premises, everything tasted excellent. The linen/chair covers&bows were so pretty and our wedding cake was amazingly so tasty!!! We said that was GREAT as it was close to the music and we didn't mind sitting in a "line" as that's kinda like sitting at the bar. We were very pleased and had the nicest server who was very attentive and helpful. I think the manager was a little confused as to why Sandy sat our family like that but what she did was provide excellent customer service and helped our family have a peaceful relaxing evening. And, for that - Sandy is the best and say "Hi" to her next time you go there. She will do her best to assist you. We will be back to the Nauti-Dawg. The food was really good and very filling. The new bread with honey butter is insanely good, and the avocado eggrolls with tamarind sauce are absolutely next level. I added on the crab cake which is of insane quality, big lump pieces, it's actually hard to find breading. Service was just as impressive, attentive, smooth, and genuinely welcoming. I even had the chance to speak with the manager, Dani, who explained they made a major shift away from distributors that were hurting their quality. They went back to basics, focused on what made them great in the first place, and it shows in every bite. This was one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time, across any cuisine. J. Except , it wasn't funny, it was sad. ZERO people skills displayed. Last. The "happy hour specials" are nothing more than microwaved treats you buy at Aldis. Nasty processed garbage. Went with the chicken sandwich, fries, and coleslaw both times--it was pretty decent overall. For dinner I added the pineapple mocktail, which was actually delicious. The lunch server came across as super introverted and not as friendly, but not necessarily rude either. The dinner bartenders were way more personable and kept checking in--except for the one moment when a bartender asked for my order and as I started replying, and they instantly turned to help the couple who just sat down at the bar. I didn't even pause that long (5 seconds max), but it is what it is. Maybe they needed to prioritize the couple as it was the feast day of St. Valentine. Overall, food and drinks were mostly good, but dinner felt awkward right from walking in. I got there a little after 5 PM and they said tables were all reserved/booked, so bar seating was only available--no wiggle room for a solo diner to be at a table on such an occasion apparently. By the time I finished, maybe only 1/3 of the inside and patio was full. As I was sitting at the bar, the oceanfront door was open and the wind was whipping in like crazy--it felt like sitting in a wind tunnel and it was cold, not enjoyable at all. I also had this weird inkling that the bar couple and bartenders were talking about me negatively and laughing. I have no proof, but that was the vibe I got. I wanted to leave as soon as possible.

We chose to sit outside to enjoy the view. It was a little warm, but definitely worth it for the scenery. We ordered the shrimp sushi roll and the fresh catch branzino. The shrimp roll was excellent and definitely our favorite. The branzino was fresh and well prepared, though it wasn't our favorite dish of the meal. Our friends ordered the burger with fries, and they absolutely loved it. The service was friendly and attentive throughout our visit, which made the experience even better. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely come back for the views, great service, and delicious food.

Lauderdale and drove over here since we were in the area. Their fish tacos were one of their popular dishes so I opted for that and my husband got chicken cordon bleu. We also got the trout dip with pita bread but I didn't get a picture of that because we were all starving and then dessert was key lime pie and pistachio gelato. I did not expect the tacos to be so big. I also got this place mixed up with another place called the beach house so I was looking at the completely wrong menu! I took a pic for anyone looking and didn't feel like clicking 4x to get to it on their website. Back to the tacos -- the slaw was very juicy so don't forget to place your napkin! The mango salsa was not too sweet to overpower the rest of the taco and the beans and rice -- we were told was cooked in beef broth so it was very flavorful! It was way too much food to eat in one sitting (although I somehow managed to down 7/8 of that gelato it's a stomach mystery!
