DO plan on wearing a face mask during the process. Dust does fly a little and some lands around the sites worked on. (This will surely happen with *any* HVAC vent cleaning.) They do vacuum floors well afterwards and I didn't expect them to dust all of my nearby furniture too; I did that. Tip re any vent cleaning by any company: I decided to handwash all of the vent covers removed. They told me that they would vacuum each one. I did not expect anyone to stand at my sink and handwash the "junk" that could not vacuumed off. Overall, Everclean did a great job for a very reasonable price given the amount of time and effort put in. Definitely be sure to contact this company for an in-person quote (which some companies do not provide).

We paid Cromwell Energy hundreds of dollars to do an annual check/tune-up on our boiler this past…read morefall, as we do every year. They apparently neglected to replace the oil filter and we had to call in an emergency repair service when our boiler stopped working, which also cost hundreds of dollars. The repair person today said they probably didn't replace the filter because it was so clogged it was difficult to remove and they didn't want to bother. Obviously, we'll never be using Cromwell to service our boiler again.

They were able to come out within two days, while every other company I contacted quoted two to three weeks just to get an appointment. The person I spoke with on the phone was incredibly kind and understanding. They kept me informed, called to let me know the technician was on the way, and even texted me a photo of the technician beforehand, which I really appreciated for safety and peace of mind. The technician who arrived was very nice, professional, and extremely helpful. The entire experience was smooth and stress-free. Since the visit, my furnace has been running quietly with no more strange noises. Best of all, the maintenance service was under $200, which felt very reasonable given the quick response and quality of service.
