I got into an accident they fixed the passenger side of my vehicle through my insurance so all I had to pay was deductible. When I came to pick up my ford expedition they told me I should just replace the whole engine... I went to a different shop and they fixed my expedition and it's been working fine. The car has 90,000 miles I do not recommend them for any mechanical repairs. They also took like 1 month to fix the collision. read more

Very Poor Customer Service! When you walk into a business, you expect to be greeted. Don't expect it here. This was the second and last time I would attempt to patronize this collision shop. This morning, I came for an estimate and waited for someone to acknowledge me. Behind the counter were the (2) two ladies sitting at their desks and the (2) gentlemen standing. The young gentlemen looked at me directly and walked away. This was not my first encounter with this rude individual. The second (older) gentleman was doing something at the counter, and looked up and continued to what he was doing. It was finished in the time Gary said and the car looked as good, or better than new. We were very satisfied with every aspect of our collision experience. This place is located on Crooks road and I think the road is named after the behavior of this company. DO NOT use this company for anything. They recently lost their direct repair status with AAA. I had my car repaired here and everything with my experience was bad from top to bottom. The attraction to this company was their free loaner car, but the cars they gave me were in horrible mechanical condition. The first one couldn't go faster than 55 miles per hour. The second one had steering problems. When asked for a different loaner car, the only answer I would get is that there weren't any more available. When I asked what I should do about the steering problems, they would just say that there weren't any more cars available. Crazy, just crazy! (This was the owner's daughter Katy, so this might explain how she gets away with this horrible behavior and attitude.) The problem seems to be that Gary has his children running the front office and the garage area. The kids don't have any idea about how to treat costumers at all. Katy was especially caustic and hateful when I was trying to get answers about the progress of my vehicle's repair. It would be hard to imagine a worse person to be the customer interface for a business than her. The owner could do himself a huge favor and have someone trained in customer service replace her. It cannot be overstated how important it is to have a kind and gentle person when dealing with your customers. A kind and gentle person can smooth over any problems that the customer might experience. If you have a hateful, unpleasant person taking care of your customers, well, you have a business that just might be doomed. The reason is that the word of mouth advertising (such as Yelp) gets around fast. Faster if the news is bad. Every time I would call to find out when my car would be finished, the response was nothing but a bunch of excuses and stall tactics in my opinion. Then after six weeks of mystery, suddenly out of the blue they call and tell me that my car was done and that I needed to bring back their loaner car immediately. When I looked at my car I couldn't believe how bad the paint quality was. I needed a car that actually could be driven (unlike their loaner car) so I accepted it and decided to get the car re-re-painted somewhere else. But unbelievably it gets worse, they didn't put all the parts on that they billed for. Luckily my insurance company foot the bill for correcting all these issues. I say that you need to do yourself a favor and stay away as far as possible from this establishment in my opinion. If I could give negative stars, I would. You have been warned. If you didn't heed my warning and have already experienced the nightmare that is A Auto Point, you should be aware that this business behaves in a very vindictive and unprofessional manner when dealing with Yelp reviewers. They will send you messages through fake accounts that they set up just to go around Yelp's rules about not contacting Yelp reviewers directly. They have used those fake accounts to post reviews about their business. Even worse they have used those fake accounts to belittle other reviewers. So you can see if they spend this much effort trying to suppress honest reviews about their business, their service must be pretty bad. My Ford Fusion got hit by a deer. I brought my car to this collision shop because my Insurance agent recommended it. NEVER AGAIN WILL I COME HERE. My car was deemed totalled on Friday. I called them on Friday to let them know I am in Nashville for the weekend and will be picking up my items from my car Monday after work. I come at 5:15 p.m. and the RUDE lady at the front tells my my car has already been picked up after I called her on Friday to tell her I am coming on Monday and she said that works great. She then proceeds to tell me "there guy looked through my car and didn't find anything" which was the BIGGEST LIE. I had work materials in the back and items in the glovebox along with my Wife's raybands and my air pods. This place is a SCAM and I advise EVERYONE TO NEVER USE THIS PLACE. read more

I had an awful experience at this collision shop. I should have followed my instincts and just walked out. When you are out of a vehicle and use your car for a living you look for a "free loaner". Well, as the saying goes, "Nothing in life is free." My insurance paid this shop $16,000 for repairs and they didn't even do an alignment that was paid for in that payment. I gave them 3 opportunities to correct it but they wanted to be right. I couldn't drive the vehicle as is so I had to get it fixed somewhere else and pay $197.00. I called A Auto Point Collision with the paperwork that explained that the vehicle didn't get an alignment after I brought it back to them to fix it (second chance) and Max asked me, what am I trying to get out of this? My insurance should cover it he said. MY INSURANCE already paid for an alignment that wasn't done. Isn't anyone accountable anymore? Can't they just admit the car wasn't aligned? Would that be too much to ask for? If you don't want to be scammed or stressed out over your repairs, find another place. read more

After the problem was diagnosed and the dealership wanted $1700 to fix it (1 week before christmas) a auto point was able to come up with a cheaper solution to get me through the winter with heat! I cannot say enough great things about this place! I found them on yelp and called them when someone backed into me. Katie was SUPER helpful and did all the legwork for me regarding my rental with enterprise and calling the other persons insurance company. I didn't have to worry about anything. I took my car to them I had gotten hit by a deer and they did a fabulous job not only repairing my car but getting me new tires and changing my oil. I couldn't be happier with the customer service that I received from Laurie at the front desk and Gary who went out of his way to get my car fixed and back to me in a timely manner. I have also purchased two cars from them in the past and have nothing to say but positive things about their customer service and hooking me up with the right cars! I was recommended to this place by a friend who had previously gone there because they offer a free loaner car. It wasn't a nice car by any means, but it was free and it got me to/from work. I went to get work done during the time when everyone else had to get repairs due to the flooding so it did take longer than I thought but I had the car back within two weeks. It was more on my auto insurance than it was the shop's fault. One minor complaint is that I did have to call the shop every few days to get an update on the progress, but the man helping on my car was always nice in telling me what they were doing. I did read the review below and was nervous about the paint job, but mine looks absolutely great. I would recommend going to A Auto Point again, but be prepared that the loaner car isn't the best. read more

Took my car here last summer because somebody hit me while I was parked and left a note on my car. Totally cracked my bumper. Well, this collision shop "replaced" my bumper, and painted it. About three months later I noticed the paint was completely peeling off like old wallpaper off of my bumper. After getting two estimates from refutable ford dealerships, both men said the bumper was refurbished and improperly primed and that is why the paint is peeling. I took it back to a auto point and Gary, the owner or manager or whatever he is, refused to fix it because he claims I was hit again by somebody else. Both of the ford dealerships I took it to said I was absolutely not hit. There is absolutely no sign of impact. No dent, no nothing. The paint is simply peeling off like a bad nail polish job. This Gary guy is extremely crooked and obviously screwed up my car completely, and refuses to take any responsibility for it. If I was hit, why is the paint peeling off and missing from two totally different spots? Was I hit twice Gary?? Where is the dent?? Unfortunately, we can't prove without a doubt in court that I wasn't hit, so trying to sue isn't worth it. Just do yourself a favor and please take your car to a place that you have been referred, a place with great reviews, or a refutable dealership. I should have done my research before taking my car here. I'm out 550 dollars because of this crooked guy and shop. I've included a picture of my bumper with the paint totally gone in two massive spots. Does it look like I was hit at all?? You be the judge! PS: They also promised me a 2009 Toyota Corolla as a loaner car, however when I went to trade my car in i received a beat up 1999 Ford Taurus that was rusty and potentially ready to break down at any moment. I was appalled by the way this shop was being ran. It seemed like no one knew what was going on. I had to emergency stop by this place because my wipers blew out randomly and it was snowing-I was obviously very annoyed and in a bad mood but this place helped turn it around. I walked in and was immediately greeted by two very kind women and a very kind man as well. I explained my situation (I am very dumb when it comes to cars and my own car) and didn't feel judged at all for not knowing anything about my car. They immediately filled me out a paper and took my car around back. I sat in the waiting room for not even 30 minutes and they came out and told me what was wrong exactly and I paid and was on my very way. The gentleman who fixed my car also told me what else I should look out for (because my car is messed up) and what I should do if something else wrong comes up. This shop sucks. I took my truck here because it was a direct repair shop and I thought it would make the process easy. First they gave me a 17 yr old loaner car with broken a/c, broken windshield and jacked suspension. It only gets worse , my 4 day job took 6 and then when I picked the truck up there was dirt in the paint, scratches all over the tailgate and the wrong decal was installed on the truck. Along with other shotty work. So I take it back twice to have them fix their crappy work, decal is correct but location is off still. They corrected some of the scratches and dirt issues but it's far from corrected. The shop area has to be the biggest dump I've ever been thru and I use to work in collision.I'm done dealing with this hack shop. read more

Have used this shop numerous times, sometimes due to others and once due to my action. Have always had successful service and results. I recommend this shop to others when asked. They once advised I wait one extra day to allow better curing of paint. As I had one of their loaners this was not a problem for me. Yes, the loaners are older cars and I would not plan on using them for road trips but, they provide basic transportation while my car is being repaired. BTW, being a direct AAA repair shop doesn't necessarily correlate directly with ability. read more

The guy glanced at it and said its really not worth repairing and tried to then sell me a car they had for sale. I was unfortunately involved in a front end collision and heard from a friend about A Auto Point. The first thing I liked about the place was that I was given a free loaner car. The car wasn't brand new, but it got me to and from work, and I had no problems with the loaner, and frankly can't complain, given the fact that it was complimentary. This was the first time I had been involved in a collision, and I don't have a lot of knowledge about making a claim. However, I asked questions that received clear answers, and was walked through the entire process, which put me at ease a bit. The job was done in just over a week, which seemed super quick to me, and I received a phone call regarding an update on my car throughout the repair process. All in all, the car came out great. It looks brand new and the new paint seems to match the old paint perfectly. I was very satisfied with the end result, as well as the people I dealt with throughout the process. Being involved in an accident is never going to be a headache free ordeal, but I would come back here again and definitely recommend this place. read more

After reading the Yelp reviews and Google reviews I realized this wasn't a unique experience. Too bad! But all the more reason to post a review to warn everyone about them.) On July 28th, 2016, I purchased a 2009 Chrysler Town & Country from Bob Cook of Rochester Motors. Bob Cook and Gary P., the owner of A Auto Point), have a business relationship together. Not sure exactly what their relationship is, but Bob is allowed to place his vehicles for sale on the A Auto Point lot. A Auto Point does the body work and other automotive repairs? Bob showed me the van in June 2016. The air bag was missing when shown to me, but it looked like a pretty good deal. I had previously purchased 2 vehicles from Bob Cook within the last 12 months and I had zero problems! So I totally trusted Bob. Obviously this was a mistake. I know these vans are notorious for having worn out ball joints, tie rods, rusted out rotors.. etc., so I asked Bob to double check all this because I didn't want to buy it and drive straight to Midas and spent another $1500. Bob assured me everything was good. But then what I was expecting to be a 2 or 3 day wait for the van, turned into 60 days. I would have given up on the deal, but I had such great success on the 2 previous purchases worked out so well. I trusted him and tried to be patient. After buying the van, I noticed all the music stored on the hard drive skipped every 15 seconds. For this I just assumed it was something they did not catch. But after a couple of days driving I also noticed the brakes were not right. Then a day or 2 after that I tried to put the stow n' go seats into the floor. None of the seats fit into the floor properly! And the large back seat would not even release from the locking mechanism. I took it back to A Auto Point and they turned the rotors, replaced the pads and charged me for it. Again, I wasn't going to make a big deal out of it. Maybe it was something else they missed upon inspection. BTW: This is a salvage vehicle. The only guarantee I had was Bob's word that he had it all checked out. So they did fix the seats, no charge, but said there was nothing they could about the hard drive skipping. Their mechanic "Russell" told me I would need to talk to Bob about that. Ok so a couple of days after that repair I realize the rear a/c was not coming out, the in-dash dvd would not play and the dvd entertainment system had no power. So then I started worrying. It did not seem like they checked out anything on this van!! It got worse... I dropped the van off on 8/18. Then I called every other day for status for the next two weeks. It was becoming apparent that Bob and Gary had some kind of rift between them and that both were refusing to look at the van. After the first week the dealer Bob Cook, stopped returning my calls and texts. Bob was my contact, but since he was unreachable I tried contacting A Auto Point for an update. When I got there I asked for Gary. When Gary talked to me he tried to prentend he didn't know who I was or what the situation was. I politely told him, "enough is enough! Are you going to look at the van or not?" The next day Gary called me back to say there was a missing tube in the rear a/c , and so the air was blowing into the cavity. Good news! Something easy and cheap to fix! Unfortunately, it took him another 8 days to fix! Apparently they wanted Bob to go buy the parts. So again they sat around waiting for Bob. They got the van on 8/18/16. Gary just called me back yesterday 9/6/16 to say they were done! (19 days!!!!!!!) As I drove the van away from there, I could see the engine light was on, the display panel said "GASCAP", and the airbag light was on. Gosh, all of these could be really minor problems. But would anybody reading this post have the courage to return it back to them again? 3 Weeks to fix one issue with the a/c!!!! Bob Cook told me he had somebody else that would look at the DVD, the hard drive and the DVD entertainment system, however the sad problem is he is not returning my phone calls again!! So in a nutshell.. all I can say is STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE. During this whole process I never received a single word of apology from Bob Cook or from Gary. Really just terrible service, terrible problem with their integrity. p.s I forgot to press them about the airbag light. I waited 60 days for them to install the missing airbag before purchasing it. I should take it back A Auto Point, since this is clearly their responsibility (they just installed it!). But I'm not sure if I can deal with another protracted delay! read more
