Upon the recommendation of my boss who had just had her car there the day before, I spoke to Eugene & took my car over. The very first thing that I was impressed with was his immediate attention. He looked at the car and then offered his condolences -- along with assurances that he could repair it & would work with the insurance company. He apologized that someone else had his loaner car, but he immediately took me to get a rental car. (I had not asked him to do this.) The first place didn't have anything appropriate available, so he took me to another place. He also asked questions that I hadn't thought of, and he waited while I called the insurance company to make sure that they would reimburse me. The repair itself took a lot longer than I'd anticipated; I would assume it was because of all the parts that were needed. It also took the insurance company several days to go out and assess the damage. In the end, though, they did a wonderful job. My car looks brand new, just as it did when I first bought it. I believe they also cleaned the inside, as it looked shiny clean. My only real complaint is that I wasn't really kept informed during the process, but Eugene did respond immediately when I texted him.

I…read moreread all the reviews for shops in the area near my workplace and decided that Berkley Collision looked like the best bet. I took in the estimate that the insurance company gave me. Dave came out and and looked at the damage. He tried very hard to give me an estimate that was less than the insurance company's, and he was dismayed that it was only $50 less. But, as he explained, since it's a new car, he didn't want to skimp on parts, and I agreed. When I originally asked how long it would take for the repair, he told me it would be about 3 days, once the parts came in. That was perfect, as it was at a time when I was leaving town & wouldn't need it anyhow. When I took it in on a Thursday morning, Dave at first said that it would now be a week, but while we were on our way home, he called at around 4:15 on Monday afternoon to say it was done. I was so pleased to see that the car looked brand new again -- no more crumpled tire rim or front area. And I believe they cleaned the inside of the car as well, as it smelled fresh and some of the papers I had were in a different place. Add me to the list of people who say that Berkley Collision does good work. I hope I never need their services again, but I will certainly recommend them!
