The new owner is called Car-Aid which was formerly Bill's Automotive and my experience wasn't what I expected! I'm not happy that I was charged 100% more than the cost of the part from the Mazda dealership. I don't object to a small up charge but double the price is excessive! Bill's Automotive never would have done that and I don't like being taken advantage of! $285 for an oil level sensor is ridiculous even though they fixed the problem. I continue to take my car in to Bill's drive through service for oil changes and really trust these guys. They greet you in the parking lot with a bottle of water while you wait. They are fast. Last time there, it took them less than 10 minutes to change the oil in my Ford Edge. It's not the most inexpensive maybe but I don't have to leave the car and come back hours later only to hear it needs this and that. read more

My serpentine belt was loose and they also saw it needed the pulley thing, thank goodness they caught that before I needed an entire new system or water pump thing. I was happy they caught all that stuff that may have been super bad, with all the hoses n stuff, I only needed one additional hose. It was cheap. My main reason had been leaking coolant that actually came from my faulty cooling system and bad thermostat, which they replaced and did a flush and now all good, no low levels. read more

I dropped my vehicle off to be repaired. The whole crew left early, no one called me to tell me. I only found out when I walked to the shop because no one was answering the phone. I got there are 3 pm just as the last mechanic was leaving for the day. He lied to me and told me everybody was at lunch. I demanded he called Jonah. I'm assuming he pretended to make a phone call and told me Jonah would be back here at 4:30 in an hour and a half. At 4:30 there no call from Jonah I sat in their parking lot for a half hour Jonah never came no one is here they all left for the day and left me without a vehicle. I live 20 miles away and today there is a nice storm. To date I have spent $4,000 with this company over the course of the last 2 years. Bill's automotive you no longer have my service. And now the blower for my heater does not work and I'm missing my cell phone holder. Great work team everyone at Bill's automotive you drop the ball. read more

Will rip you off and make your vehicle worse. These people are part changers not mechanics. Have no ability to diagnose and just guess by throwing parts at it while you pay. My truck was running a little rough when I brought it in, after doing a full tune up, coils and cadilitic converters they called and said it was 80% better but was still a little rough and couldn't figure out why. I paid $2030 and drove away with an 80% worse truck.......when I called about it he replied it wasn't like that when they had it and something else must've happened on my drive home. My truck was drivable when it was dropped off and now is parked in my driveway unable to drive. Do not bring your vehicle to these thieves for anything other than an oil change.....and I don't even know if I would trust that. Update! Bill wrote me and asked me to remove my review because they tried their best......this was my response... Bill, not only did you put a bad converter on my truck and return it to me saying it was 80% better but you also put 2 bad spark plugs in that had to be replaced. Also with a tune up you're supposed to replace all coils not just one. Once Jurgens automotive in Livonia fixed all of your shops mistakes my truck ran great. So I stick with my first review, you guys are part changers not mechanics and are unable to diagnose the simplest problems. read more

When I had an issue with an oil issue in my car, they tracked down the dealer and got a reason why, and what I needed to do to get it looked at because it was still under warranty which I was unaware of. They are very good at towing your car! But when it comes to diagnosing and repairing your vehicle in the timely manner that they stated, that is an entirely different story. On the phone they promise to finish the job in one day in reality on the second day, they offered a rental car and gave us a quote over $1000, including 6 hours of labor. However, we opted to have it towed elsewhere. 3 hours later,including being towed 30 miles away, our automobile was completed, and the repair cost under $260-a $740 difference. So if you have time and money to waste you may be pleased with Bills. read more

My vehicle was rear ended on the way home from work. Bill's Automotive was open late enough to take a look at the damage and give me an estimate. That was helpful, but this is not the place to get your body damage repaired. Bill's Automotive said they would order the parts and it would take a couple days to get in. I had my insurance adjuster take a look at the vehicle and write up his estimate. He said he sent a copy to Bill's Automotive. I told the insurance claims folks to have the check made out for Bill's Automotive because I was going to have the work done. No phone call two days later. When I called to set up a time to drop off my driveable vehicle, Bill's said they would need to order the parts and it would take a couple days. I sent Bill's a copy of the insurance adjuster's write up. I made another follow up call a couple days later after not hearing back from this business. Bill's said they needed a copy of the adjuster's write up and they needed a couple of days to get parts in. Okay. New guy's voice on the phone, we will give it another try. I made a third phone call a few days later. I must have sounded like a new customer because they asked for a copy of the insurance adjuster's write up again. I assured them that there must be a copy around there by now. I gave them my claim number again. The man on the phone said he would call me back in a moment. No phone call after 40 minutes. When I called Bill's back, he said he was waiting for a call back, that they weren't sure they could get the parts in right away. I advised him that I had lost confidence that we could get this done at all and to forget about the work. "Okay," was his reply. Not a sense of concern in there at all. I called Garry's Collision (right next door) one time. I sent Garry's a copy of the adjuster's write up. Garry set up a day and time to bring the vehicle in right then. When I dropped the vehicle off on the designated morning, Garry greeted me, said he had all the parts in, and he finished the repairs by the end of the same day. I drive for Lyft/Uber, and I was taking a passenger to Bill's Automotive from the airport when I noticed my tire pressure was dropping. I made it to Bill's to drop my passenger, and I asked how busy they were to see if they can confirm if I have a nail in my tire. They immediately pulled the car in the bay and patched it in record time for a very reasonable price. If I would have gone to Belle Tire, it would have cost 5x and would have taken at least an hour, especially during the afternoon. This was a life saver! read more

I brought my car here a while ago. I would never come back. My car was riding rough and I needed ignition coils replaced which is a very easy job i should have done myself. I was quoted the price for the job and i agreed. As the car was finished, I could hear the technician squeeling my tires since i know the sound of my car. They are reckless with your car and not honest.They finished the job and decided to ask for more money on top of what they quoted. They said well it was kind of in a tight spot so give us this much more which is ridiculous. I just paid it since the car was done and decided to never come back. read more
