Lifeguards are alert at the pool to ensure safety, e.g. they do not allow kids to jump into the water from the animal pool float. Bathrooms are clean and spacious. There is a sensory room which unfortunately was rental only when we visited. Two nice playgrounds outside the center for kids of all ages. There are other facilities such as basketball court, pickleball court, running lanes, gym rooms, rest area etc The exterior design is mesmerizing, reminds me of museums in Europe. This is a gem in Ashburn! Will be on our to dos in the winter time.

They joined their Rec and Challenge, had several All-Stars seasons, and my oldest played in Travel/Competitive programs. I have been a parent volunteer for nearly 9 years and it's been an amazing experience and opportunity to serve this amazing community. Unless your in a fiat/mini, there's no chance you can make a u-turn to go find parking. You also cannot park in the strip mall next door, even though it has ample free parking./

This gym has a fitness section and two full volleyball courts. Coach Alan is amazing and one of the most patient and encouraging people I've met! He has profound knowledge, tips, and techniques to create your base foundation, strengthen, and improve your volleyball skills! All of the assisting members and staff have also been extremely accommodating and kind. I have taken a few lessons from them (both private and group sessions) and highly vouch! They also have Meet Ups - that include positional play (you get to try all different roles and learn about each position placement and game reputations!) and other open gym like play or can receive group lessons on individual skills - passing, setting, serving, hitting etc. Although the location is a bit small; it is perfect for private lessons, group sessions for play, and a workout! 8/10 recommend playing here/checking it out and 10/10 recommend if you are looking for lessons/practice!!

It's small, but it's a good option on cold days when you'd rather NOT get on a treadmill. This is a pretty big Y! I was here to perform a PT test for some applicants. They allowed us to use their space, which is great. Kenny at the front desk was very helpful in pointing me to where I needed to be. The trainer was also very helpful in assisting us with dedicating one lane of the track to the applicants. I would love to work out here. I didn't do a full tour, but I never met a gym I didn't like! There was plenty of equipment and again, the indoor track is a plus. I saw women in what appeared to be an aerobics class and I must say, that room is huge! There's plenty of space for anybody who wants to join a class. It's also very bright and airy. I see that they also have childcare which is huge! I saw them playing outside. It appears to be a pretty spacious area. Some kids were down on the basketball court going through a workout. Too cute. But yeah, I'm a fan of the Y and this one looks pretty inviting.

Not sure about non walkers but I've seen other people bring babies in and it seems fine. They don't do diaper changes so they'll either call or physically find you if there's a bowel movement so I wasn't comfortable swimming but weights, walking or group classes seem fine. You can bring a snack (without peanuts) and drinks to make the transition easier. I guess I've seen some parents bring a meal like pizza. As others have said it's not as premium of an experience as Lifetime or Worldgate but it has a pleasant neighborly feel. Really wish the pool had a bigger leisure area for kids. It's mostly overrun by lap swimmers whenever I've visited.

I made several settlement offers to be released and they said no and now require another approximately $5000. Be warned. They make you sign a promissory note with very few details on what the club offers and won't let you out if you are dissatisfied.

Numerous elderly people come here to read books. The lifeguards spend a lot of time correcting children for behavior that doesn't have anything to do with safety. The lifeguards are pretty militant regarding social behavior. If you have lively children who aren't "perfect" don't come here as they will be reprimanded by the "military" style lifeguards.
