She always follows up and was able to get the exact glass I wanted. They worked with the insurance and I did not have to pay a single dollar. Matt, who was the technician who repaired my glass is probably the nicest glass technician I have met. He came out and reviewed the damages. Also did a throw evaluation of the condition of the car. This shows that they pay attention to detail. I recently took my car out after two days of it sitting in the garage to make sure that the glue had set even though it's likely not necessary. The glass itself looks brand new and the workmanship without any damage. I don't think you can ask for more. These guys have my business in the future if I ever have a window chip or need a window replacement.

A representative came out and gave me an initial quote of around $1,800. He was friendly and explained that a full frame replacement was the best option to prevent any dry rot from spreading. He also said they would sand and paint the trim around my skylight window. I signed the commitment, but the office never called for the down payment as promised. When I followed up a week later, they had no record of my estimate--the rep had quit and they couldn't find his notes or contact info. They sent out a second rep who apologized and explained the first guy had made a big mistake. The new price was $3,000. He personally promised to come paint my skylight trim himself to make up for the large price increase and the inconvenience. They scheduled the install, but canceled the morning of the appointment (after I had already cleared my whole day) because they hadn't finished the job from the day before. The actual installation went okay, but they used non-paintable silicone caulk even though I told the installer I planned to paint the exterior to match the rest of my cedar house. The install chipped some of the existing paint near the windows, and now paint won't stick to the caulk at all. It looks very noticeable and unfinished. The worst part came after I paid in full. The rep who promised to paint the skylight trim completely ghosted me. I texted him multiple times to confirm our agreed-upon date (I had already bought all the paint and supplies), but he never responded. Since this was offered as a personal favor outside the contract, I have no way to hold them accountable. I chose a small local company because I like supporting neighborhood businesses, and the rep seemed genuine--he even mentioned doing work for my neighbor down the street. Unfortunately, the misleading initial quote, the big price jump, the last-minute cancellation, the wrong caulk, and especially being ignored after I paid have left me extremely frustrated with unfinished work and wasted time/money. I would not recommend them.

When Universal Windows Direct makes a mistake, the customer is screwed. In 2024, we got a quote…read morefor two ValueLine entry doors with adjustable hinge attachments for $4400. The crew installed the doors and we were pleased with the new doors. Fast forward to February 2026, after cycling through bitter winter cold and oppressive summer heat, one door was opened and would not latch when closed. Called Windows Direct and asked for help. They sent over a High School DropOut to correct the problem. He discovered that the doors don't have an adjustable hinge attachment as spelled out in my quote. There is even a sticker with instructions on how to set the adjustable hinge on the door. HSDO was clueless. I had to instruct him how to fix the latch strike plate. In a follow up phone call, the HSDO said that my quote was in error, ValuLine doors aren't delivered with adjustable hinge attachments. Windows Direct made a mistake in the quote and they just don't give a sh$t about the customer. Apparently the Warrantee doesn't cover incompetence. When I hire a contractor my expectation is that I get the product I ordered and skilled craftsmanship. Windows Direct failed to deliver and betrayed my trust.
