This review is several months overdue. I purchased and used a Yelp deal back in March. I was able to schedule an appointment through the website, and get my questions answered quickly and efficiently through email, which I always appreciate. Cindy is great, and responds to emails right away. She and Amber came to clean my place for an hour and a half. It hadn't been cleaned in a while and I knew there was no way to accomplish everything in that time, so I requested that they just focus on 2 areas (floors and bathroom). They were both extremely friendly and great with my cat. They use only green products - awesome! At the time, I had been looking for someone to come and clean once a month. I asked if I should set up another appointment through the website, and was told that one of them would just call me to set up another appointment in a few weeks. The call never came, and then I got busy and forgot about it, so I assume there was some sort of miscommunication there. I also noticed that there were a couple of spots on the floor that didn't get cleaned, but overall it was a good job - they worked some miracles on my bathroom sink and shower! I absolutely agree with all but one of the reviews! I think one of our 4 cats would go home with Cindy, that's how good she is as a person! As a cleaner, she is OUTSTANDING! There's nothing like crawling into bed after a long day to fresh sheets and a made bed! Cindy and Amber have been cleaning for us over a year now once a week. After 4 days of grandkids and granddogs staying with me, my home was a pig sty! It didn't help that it rained every day, leaving muddy dog prints everywhere; or that the 5 dogs brought in various sticks, grass, rocks and tufts of grass. I was actually embarrassed to have Cindy & Vince see the mess, but the fact that I could barely keep up with meals, dishes, and tending to the grandkids, I was left with no choice. Amber at Castle Cleaning is soooo good at cleaning my loft in Pioneer Square! She uses low scent products so our house never smells of bleach or ammonia, just a pleasant clean scent. I usually have to do a pre-clean at my place and organize things before I have a cleaner in (my mom always cleaned before the cleaners;) but the last time Amber came I felt so bad cause our place was a disaster and when I came home I couldn't believe my eyes! The house was so gorgeous and well organzed! But to say she is a great cleaner is just not describing her... AMBER IS: Lovely, kind, positive, loves our puppies (and they loooove her!), smart and most of all ADORABLE! Every time I see her she is so thoughtful and kind. I'm not sure what sort of sorcery this is; in the morning I was living in filth and squalor, after Cindy's visit the place was fantastically ridiculously are-you-kidding-me clean. Cindy and her daughter tried to clean one of my rental units. The unit was in really bad shape. After inspecting the unit, she quoted 350 for 5 hours( after initially just quoting 135 for the move out cleaning). I agreed to the amount since the apartment was in bad shape. After 5 hours of work, they had not completed upstairs and the floors on downstairs were not cleaned. She wanted to charge for 2 more hours and not promise that the work will be completed. This service should be hired only if its a touch up, they are too slow and talk to get the work done. I would recommend that you look elsewhere. read more
