When we finally decided we wanted to book our dream trip, I researched for MONTHS. Ultimately, we decided we were going to need a custom trip to make our dream trip to life. My parents travelled with a large group of family friends to Southern Africa about 12 years ago to celebrate my mom's friend's 50th birthday. She is from South Africa and insisted they all book through Classic Africa. My parents have talked about the trip for years, so, after months of searching online and talking to travel agents I decided it was time to call the folks at Classic Africa. From our first conversation, I knew Classic Africa was right for us. I never felt like they were trying to sell us anything. They were honest about what we should do/where we should stay based on many years in the business. I liked that they are straight shooters--I don't like bad surprises, especially on vacation. In mid-2019, we put down our deposit on our dream trip to Southern Africa, which included stops in Cape Town, Stellenbosch, Fugitive's Drift, Sabi Sands, and Victoria Falls. Then...the pandemic hit and the trip was put on hold. We re-booked for August-September 2021, but we're still unsure if we would be able to travel this year. After much thought, research, and several calls with the Classic Africa team, we decided it was our time. I have to say, the team really outdid themselves with this one. Everything was better than we could have ever imagined. They booked everything for us--hotels, tours, private charter flights, transfers and more. One if the things I was most concerned about with this trip was transportation and safety. The Classic Africa team has been in the business for many years and every last detail went off without a hitch. I could never have planned this trip to the level that they did. If you are thinking about taking a trip to Africa, please give them a call. You won't regret it! I am sure we will go back to Africa at some point and when we do it will definitely be with the help of Classic Africa!
