Quarters side by side in spacing

Castle Floors sold and installed vinyl planking in our entryway. Best New product on the market we were told. Days after installation, glue seeped out from under the planks. We were told to simply wipe it up with WD-40. We even had our stairs done to match. About a year ago the planks began to separate. At several areas around the room I can place 2 quarters side by in the separation. Castle Floor response was it was OUR SLAB! We have tile adjacent to the vinyl on the same slab with no cracking or separation in the grout.

Fantastic service! We had a great experience working with Castle Floors. They are knowledgeable and the process was so smooth. They helped us pick the perfect carpet for our needs and it looks great too. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who is looking for new flooring!

We recently had a vinyl floor installed in our home. The technician did a perfect job of laying one continuous piece of material in the kitchen, hallway, and bathroom. The pattern laid out perfectly! Unfortunately, as he was putting the refrigerator back, he accidentally ripped the floor. I offered to accept the job if they did a good job patching it. But Castle refused! They said they would rather take the loss and reinstall the entire floor than to have less than perfect work out there with their name on it. What a great business ethic! I would highly recommend Castle if you are looking for a new floor.

I was looking to complete an ongoing project. After visiting the box stores I decided to try and keep the money as local as possible, tough times with the Rona and all. I visited their website and reached out via email. Jacob responded within 24 hours. We discussed options and he sent me a couple links. I decided on the Revwood. A short visit to the store and my order was placed. I received the shipment in 4 days. Pick up was a breeze. Heck they even managed to save me $50 bucks. The new floor looks amazing. My wife now has an office she can be proud of.

We went with the lighter tile on the right.

Such a great company! The entire team is so kind and knowledgeable. Blake was a superstar and worked to get us exactly what we wanted. Our bathroom tile was delayed so he himself actually went to another store and purchased the same tile so the job could be done in time. The 3rd party they used to install the floors were very professional and quick. Overall a great experience!

I will start by saying the only reason I am giving Castle Floors 2 star's is because the employee's are friendly. We worked with Jacob in person, and Sarah often times over the phone. Jacob was helpful in helping us find a carpet and padding to fit our needs. Sarah was extremely friendly anytime we spoke on the phone and very understanding of our situation. However I would give Castle Floors one star when it comes to their processes as a business. We ordered carpet, and waited 2 weeks for the install. No big deal, we are happy it was only a 2 week wait time. The installer showed up on install day and we right away noticed he had the wrong padding, it was obvious because we were paying for upgraded padding and knew what it looked like. Was this a trick to try and get more money out of us hoping we wouldn't notice it was the wrong padding? Maybe. Only they can speak to that. My husband called in and they were very friendly and brought over the right padding. A couple hours go by and my husband notices the installer is bringing in the wrong carpet. It was very obviously wrong, wrong color, and wrong pattern. My husband now had to spend well over an hour on and off the phone with castle flooring finding the mistake and what happens next since they already ripped out our old carpet. Castle floors blames the manufacture for sending the wrong carpet. But don't you think they should check the product or have a warehouse manager who is in charge of quality control before sending flooring off to the customers home for install? I would think so. Castle Floors then tells us we have to wait ANOTHER 2 weeks before they have an opening to install the correct carpet for us. Again, if this was a mistake on their end why are we having to pay the price as a customer and wait? I would think you should have bumped us up on the install list. Just my opinion. Over the next 2 weeks castle floors did not call us once. We had to call in multiple times to get an update, if the correct carpet had even been ordered, when the carpet will arrive, etc. Fast forward to install day round 2. A group of men showed up to install the correct carpet. It was obvious they were in a hurry to move onto the next job. I am very disappointed with how the carpet was installed. First off the carpet has a pattern, no one once asked me which way I preferred the pattern. I didn't realize what way it was going until AFTER they had cut it. Nothing could be changed at this point. The installer told us there was barley enough carpet, so they couldn't do seams like they normally would. They had to stretch the carpet a lot to get it to even fit. I understand stretching the carpet is part of the process. But I don't believe it's part of the process in the way that there wasn't enough carpet to begin with. The edges are sloppy and there are lines left all long the edging of the carpet from them stretching it to fit. The pattern was messed up on a few parts close to the edge, I assume from the stretching it ruined the pattern? There are parts where the carpet isn't even tacked down all the way. (Pictures & a video attached for examples). I'm confused why there wasn't enough carpet ordered for them to do the job correctly. There was more than enough padding and but not enough carpet? I would not recommend castle floors if you are looking for a professional business to install your carpet. Home renovations and upgrades are an investment. I trusted them to do a good job based of prior reviews. That's why I feel the need to share our experience, so others don't have to experience the frustration and disappointed we have experienced. Again, their customer service was very friendly. But the process and final product of the install was extremely disappointing and in the end that's what you are paying for.

Blake recommended the Mohawk Rev Select series that had better durability than the LPV, and the look we both liked.

I felt like we got a good deal and signed the contract. Now this is where everything starts. The installers (appeared to be knowledgeable and they were very nice) but the job was so disorganized. They started downstairs and then decided to move upstairs. So day 1 they did LR/DR and Master, Bonus room and 1/2 the hallway. My problem was they were walking (with shoes in and out) all over the new carpet. There was NO attention paid to this at all. It wasn't until day 2 when they said they ran out of carpet and I brought this to the supers attention was anything done about it (oh and the super said "thats a good idea to put down plastic; I'll bring that up in our next meeting". Seems to me after you are told when shopping around "NOT" to walk on your carpet with shoes that it should go without the customer saying anything that plastic is laid down. Oh and he also suggested having the "NEW" carpet cleaned for us. Did you know that every time you clean your carpet it breaks it down? It was when we installed our previous carpet 16 years prior. Now the running out of carpet thing was super annoying. What???? They wanted at first to leave the staircase (full of tack strips) for 2 weeks. Then, it was well we can leave the bedrooms and do the stairs. Very unorganized. And suddenly they find the carpet to complete the job. It was an exhausting day 2 with the installers here well past 8 pm. Day 3: The job gets completed and we are trying to get the house back together. Couldn't find furniture legs anywhere for the sofa and so the installer was kind enough to just pay me out of his pocket to order new ones on Amazon. By now I am so frustrated with the installation process I am questioning why I went with this company. The following Monday, the new manager or whatever she was calls. After going over the entire mess with her she offers me a $250 deduction. Ridiculous! But whatever. The carpet was now done and it does look nice. Now I just have to deal with this company on the "free" first cleaning within this next year. My suggestion is to shop around before using this company. The salesman John was really the only professional.

Removing old flooring was way more dusty than I anticipated, sort of like cutting a sheet of drywall in your living room. If you're going to remove old flooring and have new installed, remove all the electronics and have extra fans on hand as well as new air filters for AC-heat, etc. If you're going to replace bathroom flooring I would suggest having a complete set of toilet tank plumbing and gaskets on hand, just in case. You can always return it un-opened later. The crew is likely to need access to an outdoor garden hose and a place to dump excess flooring level goo. I would recommend this company for your flooring projects.
