In short, I recommend you see Travis first and then shop others after you have spoken to him. In detail, after visiting a more than half dozen show rooms, from all ends of the price and quality spectrum, I stopped by the floor depot almost by accident. Upon entering the store I realized that the inventory would not include what I was looking for but Travis politely engaged me and I learned a great deal from him. Importantly, following his recommendations, I found the the right tile for us at another showroom. I got a quote from them and returned to see Travis. He secured that same exact tile at a huge discount from the number I was quoted by the manufacturers actual retail showroom. He saved me thousands. He also helped me secure small amounts of backsplash and mosaic tiles. They were a bit of a hassle and had to be very tiny to no margins for him but he graciously secured them for me after a number of glitches ( not related to him). He is well connected, experienced and responsive and I recommend you see him at the beginning of your search. He will not try to sell you on his own inventory unless there is a great match for you. Travis at Floor Depot was great. He was able to find my flooring at a really great price. Floor Depot was cheaper than Home Depot, Floor and Decor and other big flooring retailers. There is a wide selection of flooring so I would be surprised if you did not find something to fit your project. We liked the flooring we chose so much we bought more for another project. I called soon after our initial purchase and was glad I did. The flooring was being discontinued so I ordered more just in time. The only reason I gave Floor Depot 4 stars versus 5 is you have to pick the flooring up. They don't deliver. In addition the place where the floor is delivered does not call you to let you know it has arrived. It is up to you to follow up. Floor Depot doesn't have installers so you have to find those on your own. read more

We purchased through Floor Depot at the recommendation of my son and cautiously recommend this business. Travis is awesome and great to work with, very knowledgeable and helpful in our purchase. Their merchandise selection is great and we are very happy with what we ordered. The reason for a 4 star rating is they are not a full service floor company so we had to hire two other companies, recommended by Travis, to complete our job demo and install. So while the price may be lower because you must pay check/cash, the frustration of dealing with and scheduling multiple contractors was a no fun at all. If you go with a Full Service company, you'll pay more but stress less. So it's really a personal choice of how much work you're willing to have to do and/or put up with. Overall, the Floor Depot is a great store and we do recommend them. We do not however recommend their recommended contractor which we used, Kodiak Tile and Stone. read more

We had an excellent experience with floor depot. We were looking for a particular flooring and they quoted the best price among other local stores. We ended up buying all our flooring including pavers from them. A big plus was they let us borrow samples which most of the stores don't do (checking out the flooring in our home under different lighting was very important to us) The best part is Travis is very honest, transparent and prompt with the process. We ran into some issues with our flooring which were unrelated to Floor depot but Travis and Jerry were beyond helpful in helping us resolve the issue. Let me start by saying that I did not purchase my flooring from Floor Depot. Rather, after working with me for about 2 weeks; providing me sample boards to take home, ordering a sample board for me that he didn't have, and helping me carry countless heavy sample boards to my car, Travis recommended I purchase the flooring I wanted elsewhere as he thought I could get a better price at another store. Talk about honesty! Talk about exceptional customer service! The price he did quote me for my 2nd choice flooring (Provenza) was unbeatable. I absolutely recommend Floor Depot. Floor Depot provides excellent customer service and the best prices. Recently, I needed to find an exact match to existing tile in my home. I worked with Travis, the owner of Floor Depot, and he was extremely helpful. He knew the tile I was looking for by name and after getting a bit more info said he would look for a local supplier. He called me back the same day to let me know he had found the tile I needed. He even arranged for us to down to the supplier so that we could double check to make sure the tile they had would be a match by comparing it to an extra we had. Once we knew how many square feet we needed, he double checked to make sure we everything, including the dyelot, was correct. My husband and I called almost a dozen tile distributors in the valley looking for this tile. While a few did have the tile we needed, no one provided the same level of customer service that Floor Depot did. Additionally, No one else came even close to matching the great deal he gave us on the price and delivery cost. So, if you need flooring definitely call Floor Depot. read more

Travis knows his stuff! After visiting several other carpet stores, we were drawn to giving Floor Depot our business due to Travis' honesty, knowledge and trustworthiness. You will see what I mean if/when you meet him. We were carpeting a spare bedroom that was in immediate need. With the Covid crowd having all the contractors backed up for several weeks, Travis was able to influence one of his go-to contractors to carpet our bedroom within 2 days of our carpet being delivered (8 days from when we first walked into his store!) We actually selected our carpet from a different store. Not only was Travis able to get it for us in half the time....his price was almost $1.50 sq.ft. less then his competitor. Can't promise he will be able do that for everyone. But, wow! For us...we now have a carpet/floor company that is going to get 100% of our business going forward. Again, it's worth your time just to go in and talk to Travis. I learned about Floor Depot thru our realtor. We were pretty clueless on wood flooring and the differences between laminate, engineered and real wood. We stopped by on a Sat and the owner, Travis, was there. We asked him to give us a brief overview of the different types of woods. In terms very easy for us to understand he completely filled us in. When we decided on a wood, we price shopped (who wouldn't) NOONE could beat Travis's price on the flooring. The material came in on schedule with NO bumps and our installer was able to start on time. Their customer service is FANTASTIC as well. Travis kept me informed of the status of order and even followed up after it was picked up. The contractor we are working with recommended Travis and Nichole at Floor Depot. My wife and I met with Travis on a Saturday and he was incredibly patient and helpful and also very personal. We still shopped to find the right tile and when we did came back to Floor Depot. Nichole worked with us on getting the best price and also came through on suggestions for bathroom tile. Being in sales for over 30 years I can't recall a more helpful and professional group of people to deal with. Nichole was exceptionally sweet and personal and a huge help to us! We will definitely recommend them to anyone we know. If your looking for any flooring or tile materials on bathroom, kitchen and flooring renovation projects, you'll be doing yourself and disservice if you don't go to Floor Depot!
