I contacted the company for a quote to install new carpet in my home. My initial conversation with the sales representative, Trevor, was pleasant, and he scheduled an appointment to come to my property, take measurements, and leave samples for a quote. Unfortunately, he never showed up for the scheduled appointment and did not call, email, or otherwise communicate that he wouldn't be coming. The following day, I called the store to explain that we had been no-call/no-showed. The receptionist simply responded, "That's weird, let us call you back," but no one ever followed up. I made one more attempt to reach the company, and again received no response. While I understand that scheduling issues can happen, the complete lack of communication and follow-through was disappointing. I was ready to move forward with a purchase, but the poor customer service and failure to honor appointments made it impossible to trust the company with the project. read more

A truly horrible, unprofessional experience. Had them take out carpet and tile. They did not close any doors when taking out the tile so the dust spread throughout the entire home. They damaged cabinets when taking the tile out. They left tile in the common area when done so I was fined by the HOA. When replacing floor, I replaced with a multi color wood like flooring. four different colored planks in the bunch. They put 11 consecutive same colored planks in the floor. They were supposed to level the floor before placing the flooring down and did not. If there was a way to do 0 stars I would. As a real estate agent I will be telling everyone I know to steer clear. read more

I bought from and had installed by Puckett's Flooring, engineered-plank wood flooring, in my house in the Phoenix area. Less than two years later the flooring started delaminating. They refused to do anything about it, because "This product requires RH levels to be maintained between 35% - 55%". I was not told I needed to buy a humidifier to prevent the flooring from delaminating! Puckett's knowingly sold me a product that is not compatible with the Phoenix-area climate and then refused to do anything about it when problems arose. read more

We shopped around at three flooring stores and ended up choosing Puckett's who was the middle bid. Puckett's was recommended by our realtor along with some others flooring stores. We were impressed with how the store personal were helpful and friendly. Once we choose them and gave the green light to proceed, the installation was set up for the next week. What we had done: we had 1,200 sq ft of carpet removed and tile that looks like wood installed. We also had a back splash in our kitchen done with submarine tile. The flooring team arrived on time And had around 10 guys come to start taking out the carpet, removing a small amount of tile, then start installing the tile. There 3 to 4 guys in each of the three rooms and they had the carpet out quickly. We were very impressed with how they all worked together. The tile was started on the first day and finished on the second day! Even the backsplash was done on the second day! Everything looks great!! We found Pucketts through Yelp and we are so glad we did. We had about 8 other quotes and Pucketts was by far the best priced quote; Scott Burhorn really helped us out with finding the best quality floor with the best price with still giving us the look of our dream home. This was just the quotation process and it was amazing, Scott was great to work with. Now moving on to the sub-contractors, who were also amazing! With larger companies, sometimes its a gamble on the 3rd party contractors they use to do install; but with Puckett's we received the best installers we could ever hope for. Jeremy and Ryan have been working with Pucketts for over a decade and managed the install crew who floored our 2100 sq ft home with vinyl in literally two days- and that includes demolition and clean up!! F**kit Flooring is a more suitable name as it perfectly describes the way they conduct business. Sloppy install with cracked baseboards, uneven seams, bullet like holes from the stapler and damaged walls to name a few. The floor preparation was not properly done resulting in dips, squeaky spots and gaps between the baseboard and the floor. But to Kris Dunn, the salesperson overseeing the project, that was a good job that her crew did and all we got was "I am sorry you are not happy" with zero attempt done to make it up to the customer at least in some way. That's the kind of customer service one would receive at Puckett Flooring. 18k later we have less than subpar flooring install and need to hire contractors to fix the damages caused by Puckett Flooring crew. Requested a quote from Mark Hamilton. After a few day of nothing I called him to make sure he got my email. Said he did and would have a quote out to me by the end of the day. A few day later after that with nothing from him I emailed him to let him know I needed a quote by the end of the day. This was his email back to me. "You sit on this for 2 years and then all of a sudden it's a biggest hurry up thing there is. I have other customers besides you that do work with me on a constant basis. I'm sorry but I work the field and the office as well. So why don't you just go ahead and go with someone else" Not how you should treat a potential customer, no matter how busy you are. Picket flooring did a thorough and efficient job putting in our flooring. They were the best price we were able to find and worked the week of Christmas (dec 21) to get it done before our vacation. The comparison between the floors we had and have now is like night and day. It is very clean and cut well. Good quality vinyl too- we used coretec. The team was very respectful and hardworking. We had roughly 700 sq ft done and they finished in half a day (granted we pulled out the floors so that we could save some money). One thing you should know is that the baseboards are not painted, so they are easily scuffed. Maybe you can ask to have them painted white? read more

The sales staff is incredibly kind. The two gentleman that helped us when we showed up with a Pinterest photo and an a wild idea were awesome- they even let us take home a sample on our word we'd return it. I wish we would have been told about the "final sale" policy, though. We've flipped an entire house and large yard and haven't yet been able to bring back unused untouched materials from other places we've purchased from. I would have been happy to pay the shipping fee back to the distributor or a re-stock fee. I'd recommend them and use them again despite this drawback. read more

Worked with Vanessa last year to do carpet in one of our bedrooms and also Coretec HD in a couple separate areas in the home. We went to a bunch of different flooring stores and found their prices to be EXTREMELY competitive compared to some of the competition (I was almost worried at how affordable everything was). For the record, we're talking about 4 digit price differences in our case. Install came and went with no hitches whatsoever. We ended up needing one more box of material when we were short a few planks but this was quickly taken care of with no extra charge. I honestly preferred this approach to places that seem to quote you WAY too much material to simply run up your price (plus do you really want a bunch of flooring you likely never will need sitting around in your garage). Installers were professional, timely and did a good job overall. OK.... how this business doesn't have a million 5 star reviews is unbeknownst to me. I had ceramic tile and carpet throughout my home and I really wanted hardwood but I didn't want to do the work to maintain it. So i search and search on line and finally found the brand and style of tile that i wanted. I actually went to a different tile store down the street from these guys and on the way back decided to stop in. Well... I was greeted by Kris who was very professional, asked what we were interested in but definitely was not salesy. She gave us a free sample and her card so we could try it out in our home and some very rough estimates of how much things would cost. She offered to come out and do a free estimate and I accepted. I did some more window shopping and found an even better version of the tile that I wanted so when she came to do the estimate (on time I might add) I asked if she could get that tile and she said no problem. She was VERY patient with me because we should've started the work in March and I kept pushing it out and we finally started at the beginning of May. But the entire time, she was completely understanding and not pushing to close the deal. Now, because I have tile that looks like wood I wanted to get the smallest grout line possible,1/16 of an inch, I was VERY nervous about their ability to get it done right but at some point I needed to bite the bullet. Turns out I was nervous for no reason at all. My floors came out ABSOLUTELY amazing. Like better than I could imagine. My floors look like they could be featured on Houzz.com lol. They sent a VERY professional crew to our home, they showed up on time, explained what they were doing every step of the way, cleaned up at the end of their work day, even worked on Saturdays. Horrible company. There's a reason they have a D on BBB.com. I'm a realtor and we use to refer Fu**ets flooring to all of our clients(about 10-15 per year). So far in the last 6 months they have lost out on 12 clients of ours, here's why. I had them install "luxury vinyl plank" in my home. When they first finished installing and told me the job was complete I went out to take a look. Other than them leaving the flooring a complete mess it looked okay at first glance. After I started to move in I noticed that there were a lot of soft spots and what felt like lumps under the flooring. They sent someone out to take a look and he said "it is what it is" and they couldn't do anything. I talked to the sales rep Kris and she had another guy come out. He told me the flooring shouldn't be like that and certain spots need to be redone correctly. So the first guy came back out and told me the same thing again and that the floors just need a month or two to settle. It's now been 6 months and they are still the same. I was referred to Scott by someone who's company uses Puckett's for most of their flooring needs. Even though Puckett's wasn't in close proximity of my home, Scott made the trip out, measured the area and gave me some great advice on tile choices. Shortly after, I visited the showroom where Ted continued to help me with some samples close to what I was looking for. Once I took the samples home and narrowed the decision, Scott followed up with pictures of how the tile would look in a larger room. Fast forward...the tile was ordered and completely installed within 10-14 days. I'm super happy with the process, workmanship and how it looks. Purchasing new flooring is a huge investment and one that shouldn't be taken lightly especially when it involves a product other than carpeting.
