    I'm sorry the previous posters had such difficulties, however, I have been working with this…read morecompany for a decade and have never, ever had a problem with Jerry or his wife, Rebecca. They have always done their utmost to ensure that I received great service - AND - a fair health insurance policy - not an easy feat in the last several years, given the state of private health insurance options. Most recently, Jerry and Rebecca informed their customers of the possibility of forming a group health insurance plan (I'm in private practice as a therapist). It took a fair amount of time, but they worked with us every step of the way and 5 of us formed a group and have each purchased insurance that is heads and tails above what we were able to purchase individually. I am very grateful to Jerry and Rebecca.

    If I could give a zero I would. I completely agree with Steve J. We have been a marketplace buyer…read moreof health insurance since November, 2015. In 2016 - we purchased directly through the marketplace website. For 2017 - we thought we would give a local provider an opportunity to make a fee. What a mistake. No or slow response. His assistant would answer the phone but would never have answers. In short we applied for 2017 coverage before the deadline and ... with 2 weeks left in 2016 - I asked my wife where our new cards were. That began a whirlwind that we discovered that our app was faxed but never followed up on to BCBS. BCBS says that they got a completely black fax from Jerry - maybe this was ours. Then a rush app was made for 1/1/17 - that turned out to have coverage starting on 2/1/17 and backed up with a letter from BCBS stating the same. Then this week we get another letter from BCBS saying that our insurance was indeed backdated to 1/1/16 and we owe January premiums even though they sent us cards with a 2/1/17 date. Pay up or we drop you for the year. We postponed a ski trip out of January because we did not want to take the risk of not being covered. Everytime we called to find out.. the response was the same... "we have hundreds of customers - we are doing the best"... or "I need to call the account rep" or the latest this week... "we are calling the President of BCBS." If you are going to be in a high volume business - best staff for high volume. If you could not service the customer just say in the beginning - "I am not making much money on this.... you should do this yourself." Run - Don't walk - away from this provider.
