The paint and body repairs look excellent, and from the outside the vehicle looks great. Unfortunately, the condition of my vehicle when it was returned was extremely disappointing. The entire interior was covered in sanding dust from the body shop. Dust was on the seats, dashboard, vents, and throughout the cabin, and the inside of the vehicle still smells like a body shop. My Jeep was brought in clean and well cared for, but it was returned in a condition that felt careless and unacceptable. My biggest concern is that this fine dust has been circulating through the vehicle, raising concerns about what I am now breathing in while driving. When I brought this to their attention, the response I received was simply that they would "wipe it down" because they do not have a detailing department. For a vehicle returned in this condition, that response did not feel adequate. Quality bodywork is important, but so is respecting a customer's vehicle. Based on my experience, anyone using this shop for body repairs should strongly consider negotiating enough off the final bill to have the vehicle professionally detailed afterward, because the cleanup standard here fell far below what should be expected.

Decided to try this place out since some people recommended it on Facebook. Wish I never had…read more I made an appointment at 3:30pm two days in advance and talked about what I needed done: oil change, maybe filters, and to look at issue of a drive belt and tensioner since it has been making a noise. They close pretty early at 5:00 p.m. so they didn't mention anything about time constraints. When I arrived, the owner Rafik seemed to have forgotten that I even made the appointment. And actually when I arrived there was no one there to help me until their next door neighbor that they apparently share the computer with had come in and didn't even acknowledge me either. Then finally Yasmin, the front staff and Rafik arrive to help me. They have a very small waiting area but I figured I wait it out since they would close in an hour and a half of my appointment. They have a door that separates the working area from the waiting area. At least once every like 2 minutes, so many people were going in and out and would just slam the door. I have never come across people that had no disregard for the loud noise that slamming a door makes! Every time the door slammed, the noise would reverberate through the walls. It was so annoying I waited outside on their one table but then it got too cold so I had to go wait back inside. It didn't help that there were two of their kids there, who were some of the people going in and out through the door frequently. So they ended up taking longer than an hour and a half to do everything which was fine. Yasmin tells me that I need to have my front rear brakes as they only have 15% life left and the filters changed. I decided to hold off on them. They told me my car is done so as I'm in the middle of paying and getting my car back, I hear my car running in their work area and the same noise it has been having. I ask Yasmin why is my car still making that noise. And then Rafik comes out to tell me that I still need a lot more work done on my car, including the water pump and that this is an emergency procedure that needs to be done right away. When Rafik and Yasmin tell me what needs to be done on my car, they sound very confident and can make you falsely believe that they know what they're talking about. So Rafik says this will be a long procedure, which is not convenient with my schedule. They don't offer a loaner but Rafik was nice enough to offer to pick up my car and drop it off for me. He lives in Carolina Beach so it would be easy for him to do that as I live in Carolina Beach as well. This is when I find out that Rafik used to be the same owner as Pleasure Island Automotive on Carolina Beach. Pleasure Island Automotive had some bad reviews so it makes me second guess Rafik's recommendations. I decide to go to Stevenson-Hendrickson Honda to get a 2nd opinion. Stevenson-Hendrickson Honda is where I usually get my work done and I regret cheating on them. So Honda tells me the only air filter I would need to change soon would be my cabin air filter which I can wait till my next oil change to do. My front brakes also don't need to be changed right away, I still have a little bit of life left in them-The brakes were at 4mm. There's also nothing that needed to be fixed with the water pump. Well, I can give Rafik the benefit of the doubt and say maybe his recommendations were just his personal opinion. Regardless, their recommendations will rack up an expensive bill that can break your bank. The only good thing about the whole experience was they gave me a discount for being a first-time customer. Too bad I won't be a repeat customer!!

I just moved here from Texas and i ran over a truck tire tread that was in the road and it ripped…read morethe fender liner and skid plate off of my car, and i ordered the parts, but had no way to install these parts, so i just guessed at someone to help me, so I called The Restoration Guy, and Chris answered the phone and we hit it off fist words spoken, i explained my issue and he said just bring it in and he would look at it. When I drove up Chris took it right in his shop and he and another guy stopped what the were doing and they had my car on jacks in 5 min and in 30 min my car was fixed, and he did it at a great price, and I was back on the road in 45 minutes, and it just blew me away that i had it fixed before i ever dreamed it would happen, So all I can say about Chris is he is a great guy and did a great job and a he did this for me out of being a great guy with old fashioned service that is just non-existent in our society today, and I cannot thank him enough, but If you need this kind of business, I am saying honesty and integrity, and knowledge are all over this man and I recommend him100%+++
