Summary: I…read more*recommend* Envision Imaging on Plano Pkwy for patients in the area who have Diagnostic Imaging orders from physicians and surgeons. Details: Envision Imaging is conveniently located on Plano Pkwy near Marsh Lane. Gorgeous and sparkling clean medical office building. I had an MRI and CT Scan this week at Envision Imaging. Nurse was professional, a good communicator, friendly, and cheerful. It is wonderful to have a nurse who smiles and can relax a patient. Nurse explained everything in an easy way for me to understand. I appreciate her expertise and her willingness to have short conversations with me. She gently inserted the catheter that was used for contrast dye. She also gently removed the catheter after the procedures were complete. MRI and CT technicians were also professional and good communicators. They also explained everything ahead of time so I knew what to expect. Two days later I returned to Envision Imaging to pick up my CD-ROM of previous imaging. I also picked up a CD-ROM of the MRI and CT that Envision Imaging performed. Front desk staff was friendly and efficient. They quickly provided the 2 CD-ROM that I ask for. Thank you to the entire staff at Envision Imaging on Plano Pwky. I recommend this to patients who need diagnostic imaging. - SS

She was so kind, empathetic, did a great job of explaining what to expect and making sure I was comfortable. Hopefully I won't need more scans but, if I do, I'll ask my doc to refer me here.

The technician became very upset and informed me that customers are not supposed to open the van door. My first concern is that this protocol is not communicated anywhere in the appointment process. I reviewed my confirmation email, appointment instructions, and other communications, and there is no instruction telling customers not to open the van door, to wait outside until called, or to look for any readiness indicator.  When I asked how I was supposed to know this procedure, I was told it was clearly stated in the appointment email. It is not. My second concern is how the interaction was handled. I was treated as though I had knowingly violated an established rule when, in reality, I was following the arrival process I had come to understand through years of experience as a BodySpec customer. I have completed numerous scans over approximately three years, and technicians often do not open the door at the appointment time, and I have never seen any signage/indicator in the van window depicting whether the van is ready for the next client.   As a result, knocking and then opening the door after receiving no response had become the only practical way to determine whether the appointment was ready to begin.  Put simply, it is not reasonable to hold customers accountable for violating a procedure that was never communicated and is inconsistent with the experience BodySpec has repeatedly created for returning customers. My third concern is the justification that was given. The technician explained that she was alone in the van and did not know who I was or what my intentions were.  While I understand the importance of employee safety, that concern does not justify blaming a legitimate customer for failing to follow an unpublished protocol.  More importantly, the reasoning itself is difficult to reconcile with the situation. If unauthorized entry is considered a genuine safety concern, the solution should be clear instructions, visible signage, and/or physical controls such as a locked door. i.e., An undocumented customer procedure does little to address someone with actual bad intentions, while creating unnecessary conflict with paying customers who are simply trying to attend their appointments. A customer cannot reasonably be expected to comply with a rule that has never been communicated, and a person with malicious intent would be unlikely to follow that rule regardless. What is most disappointing is that this situation was entirely avoidable. A simple instruction in the appointment confirmation such as "Please do not open the van door. Wait outside until the technician invites you in" would have prevented the entire interaction. I have been a loyal customer for years, which is why this experience was so surprising and frustrating. Unfortunately, this interaction has significantly damaged my confidence in BodySpec. I hope the company will review both the customer communication process and the way situations like this are handled in the future so that other customers do not have a similar experience.

You fill out a questionnaire on an iPad before you go to the small waiting room. The changing rooms are clean and have inspiring messages on the walls. They have small lockers to put your shirt in but no loks so don't leave anything of value in them. Most times your appt time is the actual time you are seen-one time they had a machine malfunction so wait was longer but they did come in an explain the issue which I appreciated. The woman running the machines are friendly and kind. It isn't the most comfortable experience so their attitude helps make it bareable. I got my results in 24 hours.

I was quoted $620 for the exam due to my deductible so I asked for the cash pay price which was $330 which I had sent by quote on email. I also work in healthcare and know we also often offer patients with deductible plans to pay out of pocket for labs or imaging etc to save money. When I arrived for the exam and notified the front desk I was paying out of pocket, she was very nasty and rude and said that wasn't allowed, I tried showing her the email, but she said if I paid out of pocket, I could never use insurance EVER again as long as I came there. Of course they are making this up. We do this for our patients every day

My doc ordered some tests and I received a bill for thousands of dollars. Since my insurance is pretty great, I knew this was an error. Before I had a chance to figure it out I got a call from CMRE (a collection agency) within a week of receiving the first bill. I was not happy, and I was told by the collection agency that NO insurance had been applied. Now I was pissed. I told the agent which insurance I had and she asked me for their phone # - wait, really? I told her to figure it out and fix it, the end. I tried to call CMRE a few days later for a status and had a really bad connection and was told their phones were down. The whole thing seemed super shady. I brought the bill to my next doctor's appointment and they told me to call Texas Radiology directly at (972) 867-7862. I called and left an angry voicemail and my call was returned promptly. I was told an error with their new system sent all bills straight to collections and I actually owed about $40. She apologized, took my payment and emailed me a receipt. 4 stars for handling it quickly, minus 1 star because the company should have been proactive in reaching out to patients after identifying this issue. Hopefully this helps someone else in the same situation.

For as many people that are commenting the same things...we should look into a class action lawsuit. I think there's no way it's legal to have no way to discuss bills.

Don't forget to celebrate getting both of those chores done by getting a bubble tea at Fruitealicious when you are finished! This is my routine when I come here! I had a Morten's neuroma in my right foot that was causing crippling pain. I had my initial Morten's neuroma tumor removed about 14 years ago, but the pain around the surviving nerves created another one (they call these replacement tumors 'phantom neuromas,' but they are quite real). It was killing me, so I went to see Dr. Miller. The treatment for these lovelies has changed substantially over the past decade. Instead of digging into my foot to remove it, Dr. Miller did a series of shots to deaden the inflamed nerves. I had to get this done for 8 weeks. The shot (directly into the nerve in your foot) hurt like a mutha, but only for a second or two before it was numbed for the next 24 hours. During the numbing, the healing began. It was less painful with every shot. The good news--the crippling pain is gone, and should be forever. Hooray! The bad news, my exercise routine needs to begin again and I've gotten used to be a lazy woman.
