Came in for a repair, great people, attentions to detail and excellent service overall .

Not impressed. Went at lunch, didn't look open, nothing in display windows saw someone and rang the bell she buzzed but didn't realize she hadn't unlocked. Beyond that the person there doesn't seem to know the inventory, their policies...she was unfamiliar overall. Their inventory looks ...not sure the appropriate word...maybe oldish...disappointing...the total opposite of the previous jewelry store. It's unlikely that we'll go back. read more

Buyer beware. These guys are scam artists. They take your jewelry for a quote, do the work and then hold your jewelry hostage until you pay. My mom and I took a ring in for a quote on a repair as the stone had fallen out. The lady said it would cost about $100 for new prongs - maybe more as the stone was bigger so the prongs would need to be bigger. She then also pointed out a crack and said the ring needed reshanked. We left the ring with her for a quote. That was our first mistake. Later in the week she called and told me the work would be $550 for everything. I said I was at work and would need to talk to my mom. That night my mom said it was too expensive and on the weekend we went to pick up the ring. And the lady said ALL of the work was done. I said we didn't authorize any of it. She said they had video of my mom (I was with her by her side) agreeing to the prong work. She did not. But even if that were true - why then did you call and quote me $550 for everything? Well you didn't get right back to me after I called is what she said. I said no - I was at work. She then discounted it to $400 and I said why should I pay for work I didn't authorize. She said someone would call me and they never did. Today I went in to discuss this and they maintained they did all of this work at all of this cost and I should pay. What a scam. I actually called the police and ended up having to pay $300 to get the ring back. It was 50 years old and very sentimental to my mom. The police said I should have never left my jewelry there and I should have recorded all the conversations. I ended up having to pay $300 for work I never authorized. And now I will take it to a recommended jeweler to see if the work done was valid and the stone is real. read more

Can't say enough good things about this shop! I just had my wedding band custom made my Mark and his fabulous team. I brought in old jewelry and he was able to melt down the gold, take out the diamonds, and give me credit for all the gold I turned in. Mark is honest, talented, and precise - everything you could ask for in a jeweler. I showed Mark photos and we designed the ring together. He made a gorgeous piece but I wanted one tiny thing changed about it. He immediately made the change and made the ring of my dreams. He is fantastic and SO kind. I haven't stepped foot in this store and never will. First and only experience over the phone, I ask about getting a ring appraisal and what the process is. I am told that I have to drop of the ring and pick up in a couple days when the appraisal is complete, I share my concern regarding having to leave the ring there for a few days and I am told (with an attitude) that I should only work with people that I trust and that they can't help me. How can I trust someone that gets upset/bothered by me having a concern about dropping off my jewelry for a few days? Rule #1 of good customer service, reassure the customer that they are in good hands.Very disappointed. read more

I can't give as many stars as I feel they deserve because I'm only allowed 5 stars! I've done business with Castle's Jewelers twice now and I can't imagine ever going anywhere else from now on! They made me feel completely at ease in leaving my mother's ring to be repaired. When I went to pick it up, I just couldn't believe how beautiful it was! It looked better than it had in many years.
