Had my watch repaired here and they did an incredible job. I needed a cracked crystal replaced and I also asked them if they could polish some scratches out. I mentioned to them that I had the crystal replaced at another shop a couple of years ago, but I was never happy with how the crystal was not flush with the case. When I picked it up, it looked brand new and the new crystal fit perfectly. Very pleased with the service here. Highly recommend for watch repairs. read more

I really didn't want to write this review, but I feel I have no choice after how everything was handled. I brought my vintage Rolex Submariner 1680 -- my first Rolex and a watch that means a lot to me -- to Bach Jewelers for service. When I picked it up, there was glue residue on the dial, scratches on the crystal, and the lume on the hands completely destroyed. I contacted the shop immediately and was told to come in. When I arrived, their employee Paul claimed the damage was caused by water -- something completely disproven by clear before-and-after photos and multiple independent watchmakers, including True Patina, one of the most respected vintage Rolex specialists in the U.S. When I spoke directly with Andy, the owner, he refused to take responsibility or offer any solution. I understand mistakes can happen -- they do in every business -- but you can tell a lot about a business and its owner by how they handle a mistake. In this case, there was no accountability and no effort to make things right. The result is thousands of dollars in damage to an irreplaceable vintage watch and the loss of trust in a place I once supported. I had previously purchased jewelry here and wanted to continue doing business, but this experience says it all. Think twice before trusting this shop with anything valuable or sentimental -- once the damage is done, there's no undoing it. read more

Am I glad I did!!! Andy made sure that my pearls were correctly re-strung and did the job for a great price, too! With that as a test, which he passed with flying colors, I brought in a pair of beautiful earrings that my late Dad had given me from his trip many years ago to Ireland. They were the clip-on style and I was always afraid to wear them, for fear one might slip off. Once again, Andy came to the rescue and turned those beauties into earrings for pierced ears! Bach Jewelry I found just driving by one day. I went in with a few watches in my bag, but wanted to see what type of brands were serviced here. I found a watch master and jewelry repair employees are on site, most of the time too. Excellent! Speaking in general I learned this establishment has been around over 20 years. The merchandise is very nice and has various ranges for everyone I feel. Watches, when under warranty must be opened by certified dealers. This store seems to have them all. Everything I have brought in or gotten has been of excellent quality and of course serviced here. The standard Rolex's, Movado's, Omega's, Seiko's and many more are available. Enlarging or taking links out brands is done right away. Rado was the hardest band to even try at home to take links out of! Bach to the rescue! The prices for batteries are excellent! I have paid $50.00 a watch for battery change at a few unnamed, Bach store won my business hand over fist easily by charging conservative rates. Just picked up 4 watches; 2 men & 2 women. A few very high end and not a scratch on any of them. $28.00 for all 4! The crystals were buffed. Really helps if you're hard on watches like I can be. Lol! I really thought I decimated a Movado by hitting it against a wall accidentally moving things. Pretty hardy crystal, no replacement; just buffed out a bit. We love chronograph watches and it was here I was given excellent instructions on usage. This is truly superior customer service I think and no charge. Class act! I believe all major credit cards are accepted, not sure of Diner's Club or Discover. Not sure of in-house financing. Does not advertise it though. Shop sits off the perimeter road by University's west side. Go in behind the Firestone off of 30th St and University and follow the road and go slowly so you may see all the vendors.
