Jerry contacted us with the estimate including different options based upon levels of paint products. I wish I could give 5 stars, but I can't due to owner Jerry Perry's lack of follow-through & non-responsiveness to numerous phone calls and text messages. We hired Castle Painting to paint my mother-in-law's home interior last October & they did a great job, so we hired them again in November to paint the exterior. Once again, the crew did fantastic work. My mother-in-law also wanted her back patio stained and Jerry said they could do that too, but the work needed to be done when the weather was warmer (around April). Jerry looked at the patio, took measurements and was to get back with an estimate. However, after a couple of weeks with no reply, I called Jerry and left a VM. Again, no reply so I followed up with a text message in December, & never heard back from Jerry. Fast forward to April 2023 - I called Jerry and left a VM regarding the patio estimate. Then another text in May, asking for a reply, one way or another, but once again - nothing. I understand he may be busy or, perhaps, isn't interested in the job, but his failure to respond to numerous VMs and text messages is unprofessional and, for that reason, I can't recommend Castle Painting. read more

Jerry and his crew were fantastic. I decided to change the accent color the day before they were finished because I didn't like it. Jerry handled it like a pro. He helped match a new accent color (because I am severely colorblind) and repainted those sections. The end result was amazing. We had our house painted by Castle Painting here in Elk Grove about a month ago. Jerry Perry, the owner, came right out and gave us a fair estimate. We couldn't be more pleased with the outcome of his work. He was very professional and willing to go the extra step. They taped the windows completely so no water got into the house accidently while power washing. Their paint job of the house and the trim covered nicely. We've gotten a lot of compliments on the new paint job. Mr. Perry and his crew were extremely neat and tidy. No paint was splattered on sidewalks or other places. They cleaned up everything so nicely. It was a pleasure working with Castle Painting and I would highly recommend them. I contracted with Jerry, two young men painted my house,My brother passed away unexpectedly the last day they were painting and I had to leave the house Jerry came back the next day and they completed a few touch-ups. I later discovered that part of my chimney wasn't painted I've left a voicemails and text messages as well as sent him a message on WhatsApp with no response whatsoever. I suppose once he's done and he gets his money he doesn't feel any responsibility to contact his clients if there's problems with the paint. To that end I would say that I would not necessarily recommend him. read more

Jerry seemed honest enough. We were working on a new roof, gutters and downspouts while having the exterior painted. He said he was willing to work with us. While getting our house painted, he got a couple other jobs on our court due to work being done on our house. He finished most of the work and said he would paint downspouts once installed. We paid him thinking it wouldn't be a problem considering he was working on different houses on our street. Needless to say, he never came back to paint the downspouts and gave excuses about coming back. Ended up paying someone else to finish the work. I hear other complaints as well. I wouldn't use this company again. read more

I was very impressed with the finished product after our two story house was painted. The owner helped us pick complimentary colors and had many options. He had 2 men with him on the job who seemed very polite and worked quickly. From start to finish it took about 4 days for them to finish. In 2011 we had the exterior of our home painted. They did a lovely job, however, they did not paint all of the foundation, only down to where the bark was. If they would have told me we could of had the bark pulled back. When I call and leave messages they do not return my call. I used Jerry about 4 years ago to paint my exterior of my home. He rushed through my job and when I complained to him he told me he spent to much time on my house already. He was not the most inexpensive quote that I chose. He's a talker.Shame on me that I let him guilt me into just saying forget it. When calling him on issues after he was paid, never returned my call. I was doing this project on my own and feel like he took advantage of me as a female. He didn't use Kelly Moore paint as my quote states. My house was not prepped like he promised and now only 4 years later it needs to redone. Very disappointed and would never use him again or recommend him. read more
