I have to say the ladies in my office talk about them quite often! My first time trying them I ordered an egg nog latte (don't judge, it was the holidays lol)! I am not much of a coffee drinker! But I needed a warm drink. When my co worker brought in our drinks I took a sip. Might I say it was pretty good........until the taste of perfume from the ladies that work there gets on the cup and then into your mouth. I had to take the lid off to drink it and then that still wasn't enough. Second visit.,We asked them for a egg nog latte if they did not have peppermint lattes! What happens? I got an egg nog latte with peppermint in it! Come on pay attention. Was it bad? No, did I enjoy it? No, was it the best? No but it was do able until again you get the perfume taste that gets on the cups. Third visit, I ordered an Carmel something or another hot! It was really good, until guess what? Perfume taste from the cups! I tried to give these folks a chance, I hateeeeee Starbucks, big foot java, and those big names! I love to give the little guys my business but I will not be returning back here again! Not even for free. Call me dramatic but I don't like tasting perfume in my mouth. Also customer service isn't the best either. I will keep giving my business to Dutch bro's, at least they have great flavors! read more

I went here today and ordered a lotus, which are usually pretty sweet. It tasted like straight sparkling water. And the baristas were not very attentive. They barely spoke to me but were laughing to each other the whole time and it was just altogether unprofessional. It's a really cute place but they just don't know what they're doing. read more

I've been a Castle Perk customer for over a decade now, and I have yet to have a single negative experience. The coffee is consistently stellar and the lovely baristas are genuine, not just plastering on fake smiles for tips. They also seems to always be ahead of the curve when it comes to coffee stand innovation (they were one of the first stands around to introduce white coffee, and it seems like they had energy drinks on their menu quite some time before other retailers caught on). Their punch-card program is more than fair and worth looking into. Highest recommendation. read more

I pretty much get the same thing everytime. A 32oz cold and/or 24oz hot Decaf Sugar Free White Chocolate Mocha. All the girls are super sweet. I do need to say that my drinks get done correctly about 95% of the time. I can guarantee a good drink if Chloe does it and one of the other girls with long blonde hair (sorry I forget her name). read more

I started going to this coffee stand in 2009, when I worked in the area. I loved it then, absolutely loved the staff and coffee. At that time, the staff was friendly, inviting and always worked hard at getting the correct drink. I moved away for three years, recently moved back and one of the first things I did was venture out to this stand. The staff was still friendly, but the drink was weak. It tasted like really milky syrup. I went back a few times, and so far, each of my drinks have been really weak. They taste really milked down, and the coffee isn't very dominant in the drink. I'll still go, because it's the best in this area, and I kind of have a dedication to them after this many years. I'm just going to pipe up about the strength of the coffee flavor. They're not bad, they're not super great anymore. read more

I've been here dozens of times for coffee and have never had a complaint about my drink or a baristas behavior. If I have learned anything about espresso stands, it's this: A friendly attitude makes coffee taste better. I am not a coffee snob and like fairly basic coffee drinks. In my opinion it's pretty hard to really screw up most of your basic espresso concoctions so to me it's all about the customer service, which is why I like going here. Most of the women working here greet you with a smile and genuinely seem to be happy to serve you (and not in that phony over the top Starbucks way). It seems like there has been a lot of turn over lately here so it seems like it's someone new most of the time so that's why took a star off...I like it when I see a barista who at least knows I am a semi-regular. read more

This place is awesome! I absolutely love their coffee and their staff. The ladies here are always super helpful and friendly. They make my coffee just right and it always taste amazing. They even have a loyalty card that allows you to get $5 for every 50 points you get. Their only downfall is that they don't have more locations. read more

Overall this was an okay coffee stand. The service was on the slower side, and the coffee had far too much syrup in it for me (a mocha). I do wish they used Dillanos coffee like some of the other coffee stands in the area, since it is locally made and in my opinion tastes better. read more

I have been going to this stand for like 7 years, and today I asked for my usual drink and it was horrible. She told me she couldn't make another one or she would have to charge me??? She wanted to dump some out and add something, but that didn't do it. She was very rude and ended making another one which was great... but the experience with her poor attitude and bad customer service will definitely make me reconsider my daily visit. read more
