It's right in downtown Sumner so it's easy for people to pop right in, but there were others who were also working remotely for the day. Lots of seating, lots of plug ins, and free wifi. I love how bright and airy it is here, too. Definitely is the best spot for a sunny spring or summer day. On Tuesdays, they do $5 Taco Tuesday which is such a steal! For $5 you get two tacos with your protein of choice (carne asada or chicken). I decided to try this since I got the quesadilla last time. Some of the cuts of meat were pretty grisly/fatty which was a bit of a turn off, but overall they were good. I also got the chips, salsa, and guac on the side. I think next time I would skip the salsa as it was super chunky and not a salsa texture at all, and had no kick to it. The guac was really good though! I wouldn't say it's the best coffee shop I've ever been to, but the atmosphere here is so bright and cheery that I'll definitely still keep coming back when I'm looking for a change of scenery that isn't my desk at home! Plus, did I mention they have mimosa flights?

We walked over from Sunset Chevrolet with our injured dog in a stroller, and the staff could not have been kinder. We ordered him scrambled eggs, and they surprised him with a bacon-topped pup cup. Several staff members even came out to our table to say hello and make him feel welcome. The food was fantastic. I ordered the HOBO, and it was absolutely delicious. My spouse had the pastrami sandwich, which was just as impressive. We sat outside - which is really nice - but the inside is super clean and very welcoming. The combination of exceptional food, genuine hospitality, and how they treated our dog made this an experience we'll remember. We'll definitely be making River's Edge Cafe a regular stop whenever we're in the area.

I have always chose to go to this stand over all the others in the area. They have the nicest staff, I've never had a problem with a drink that I've ordered. Ordered a half of the sandwich with mustard, lettuce, tomato, cheese and cucumber. What I received was a roast beef sandwich with mayo, mustard, red onion, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and cheese. Now, first of all I was already concerned because the lady who makes the sandwich's was giving off some weird vibes and she didn't write down my order. In my opinion a sizable tip. My total was eight dollars and some change. I left a four dollar tip for providing a decent service. Since discovering a stomach ulcer I can only eat certain kinds of food and I am beyond disappointed with the sandwich. Unable to eat something I paid for is sad plus I'm now 20 minutes away and can't return to request another one. If this café does not want to serve people like me they should put up a right to refuse service and then people who look like me won't come in to their establishment to order food and pay for something at the can't eat. Should've gone with my gut and not ordered from a stand that isn't transparent with their pricing.
