Phoenix Feather is the best choice I could have made musically for my 2 kids…read more Originally when my oldest was 6, I started her in private piano lessons. It was so boring for her. My piano repair man recommended Phoenix Feather and while it was farther than I was currently driving, I tried it because the school has been open for so many years. The group lesson is amazing! Both of my kids were so much more engaged in a group lesson, they see other kids' triumphs and struggles and they want to keep up with course. Ms. K is really energetic and engaging with the kids. It is a rigorous class but Ms. K has SO MANY TOOLS on her website to help your student thru any difficulty. The parent does not need to be a piano player for your child to succeed in this class. I'm forever grateful for this program.

K for 4.5 years (so close to finishing the program, but alas, they decided to pursue other areas of music a couple of years ago). We loved this program so much and Mz. K's incrediby effective teaching style! We knew from the get-go that our children would likely not become classical pianists, but we wanted to instill in them an appreciation of music and an understanding of how to read music. The group keyboarding lessons are perfect for that, and they are also a great foundation for more serious students as well. Mz. K has been teaching for over 30 years and has built a time-tested program that works! Mz.
