The tea shop was vacant for us, so we enjoyed being there together for our little tea time. Even the lady was easy to talk to and her service was good, but we have our second thoughts about this tea shop. We didn't have scones with the cream, only sandwiches and desserts. At least the sandwiches were nice portions for the 2 of us. Other tea shops we have been to, comes in with scones and creams. Desserts were kind oh meh!. They felt like stored-bought desserts for a $35 p/person tea service. On the other hand, I enjoyed the strawberry cobbler, I never had before. You also have the option to try at least 3 different kind of teas, that is good to know for someone trying new teas experiences. But we have to wait a few times for the hot water to come in. In overall, I just wished to have scones with cream included, the desserts being made there and not stored-bought, and the hot water pitcher left in on our table instead of being served, so we can serve ourselves, instead of waiting. We waited with other parents at the front of the school past the start time and I was late for work. And I had to leave my young child with teenagers that didn't seem to know much. My sons name was not in the system and the entire process was very unprofessional. After camp, my child explained to me that he got to play legos and minecraft all day. He was bullied on day three and the camp director called to report the incident. I began dropping him off late and picking him up early to avoid conflict. I cancelled week three, and carefully proceeded into the 2nd week after talking to the program manager about all the above concerns. The stem and playbit all sports itinerary was thrown out the window and the counselors allowed the kids to be self led to reduce stress as per the camp director. The 2nd week in my child was hit by a bully in the head with a golf ball that was brought from home. Although the child was sent home that day, there was no guarantee that he wouldn't be back. We did not go back and spoke to the operations director regarding the above incidents. Per the operator, Kidztopros does not screen for special needs kids because they cannot discriminate. This program was not a safe summer camp experience for my child and we will not be back. I will be telling everyone I know to stay away from this company including our local school that handed out flyers recommending them.
