We were in search of a place where we could rent the entire property for our wedding and wanted a place where we could offer all of the ages of the family something to do at any given moment. This place delivered!! My best friend and I called this place on a roadtrip because we found it on google and thought it was worth a shot and Chris the owner answered and was so kind and thoughtful that we detoured and stopped to meet him there in the middle of winter. We chose this place because of him and the fabulous, well kept property. We talked with Chris and his wife several times prior to our August wedding and they were patient with our planning process and able to accommodate all of our requests. We cannot thank them enough for the use of the clubhouse and pool! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and exceptional service that made our stay truly unforgettable.  Chris and his wife Angie, the staff and property were more than we could have dreamed up! The property itself is absolutely stunning, nestled in a picturesque setting that offers breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere of the Wisconsin River. It was the perfect site for our wedding and family gathering, providing a beautiful backdrop for our special day and ample space for all our guests to relax and enjoy.  The owners went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was taken care of, making the entire experience seamless and stress-free. The Lodge is a beautiful log cabin, it's very clean, seems to be well maintained. It has comfortable beds, all bedding, and a fully stocked kitchen. The internet works well, and it's so quiet and dark at night that we all slept great! There is plenty of room for our whole family. The only suggestion I'd make is to add mirrors to the bedrooms to help getting ready easier since the only mirror is in the bathroom. A friendly property manager stopped by during our most recent stay to let us know about the firewood for the fire pit. We really appreciated this, though we didn't have time to use it. We'd definitely recommend this place for a comfortable, hassle-free stay!

We sat on the porch with out dog and played cards, walked around the property. The have a small lake that is aerated and clean with a small sandy beach perfect for small kids. It was very relaxing. The kitchen has all of the pans and utensils you will need. We used the bbq grill and made steaks one night. We went into the Dells one day and found a dog friendly restaurant called The Grateful Shed. One of a kind place for sharing lunch and a cocktail inside or out with your dog. Highly recommend. After two hours of trying to get rides, we found this place. Rick, who owns and operates the motel alone, came and picked up us and all our luggage himself. After calling Rick and asking if he had a room for us, and could give us a ride, it was no more than 20 minutes from being stranded at a closed gas station in the freezing cold, to being checked into a room. He even gave us some homemade beef jerky in case we didn't have any food. (best beef jerky I've ever had) Great prices, great service, excellent place to stay. If I am ever near that area again, Crossroads Motel & Cabin is where I'll be staying.

The cabins are clean and comfortable--yes, they could use some updates, but that's part of their old‑school charm. If this place gets more visitors, they can put more into upkeep, so go check it out and help keep a great thing going. The horseback riding was incredible. We hit the trails up to three times a day. The horses are well-trained, and the wranglers are the kind of people who make you feel at ease instantly--patient, knowledgeable, and fun to be around. Our 14-year-old boys (and their friends) never once said they were bored, stayed off their phones and came back each night completely exhausted and full of stories. Days were packed with fresh air and adventure; nights were peaceful and relaxing. What truly makes this ranch special is the people. It's family-run, and by the end of our stay, we felt like part of the family ourselves. Everyone is warm, welcoming, and genuinely happy. If you're looking for a place to disconnect, have fun, and create real memories, this is it. We'll definitely be back!

Mike, the manager, was able to accommodate all our requests, and the lake is to die for. The place is only 5 min from the strip, but it is so quiet and peaceful, you'd think you were in the wilderness, miles away from civilization. I like the location, we were in cabin 23 and it was right next to the beach, and close to the docks and the playground. The cabin was clean, but old and dated and had a mustiness to it. The beds were not very comfortable. The deck was great and honestly, we spent the majority of the time there. The resort is close to everything - but never felt that way. It is quiet and serene. Even the resort itself didn't feel crowed even though it was pretty full. The ground is covered by soft pine needles that are way better than grass and I think help keep the bugs away. And I should say - I normally attract mosquitoes from three states around. In the time it takes me to water flowers at home, I can have 3-5 bites. I came home from 4 days at Island Pointe without a bite. HUGE!! I also loved the shadiness of the area. I hate sun and it was easy to avoid it (it was easy to get it too - on the beach and the pool, for those that like sun). The staff is super helpful and respectful. They take a lot of pride in the resort. Honestly, I think that my cabin at least would have made this a 5-star review but the fact that my husband slept with a t-shirt wrapped around his pillow case, means that the cabin could be brought more up to date. It was clean for sure, but still felt...old.

Tucked down the road from the spectacular Petenwell Bluff along the Wisconsin River (the "Meskousing"), is a little side road with a hidden gem. We arrived with empty cantankerous stomachs as the sun set, looking to grill up peppers, beans, kielbasa & kraut over the communal fire pit. However, the historically intense heat has left Wisconsin's forests dangerously combustible - so no fire for us. We thought we'd lost hope. Suddenly, a sweetheart polish mother of another brother came to the rescue, offering to cook our bounty - "I go inside, 10 minutes, no problem". Incredible. Dziękuję!! - (jen-key / Thanks). We hung out in the woods eating Kielbasa with Polish walleye fishermen as the stars and planets shined above. This is sacred land out here for sure, and the folks here help keep it amazing, accessible, and homie. Necedah Motel is everything and knows all. We'll be back. Much love!!
