I'm not sure why so many 1-2 star reviews! Upon our arrival the front desk was an easy check in! We stayed in building 31A. The room was clean, beds where made, the floors honestly looked freshly swept or mopped. The a/c worked great and no smell to the room! Room service needs to be called in order for them to come to you, but I called around 2:30pm for new towels and they brought them not even 10 mins later! The showers are a good size and the bathrooms were clean! My lack of stars is actually for the pool area + arcade. I hate the time limits on things like the hot tub and warming pools. As well as not enough tubes for the lazy river/ rides! The arcade is also more for younger kids but no issue there other than the workers! The card machine ate $80 of cash and they said there was nothing they could do about it! I had to call and complain a few times for them to offer money back. But no one working on site was any help at all. Honestly horrible staff other than front desk and the room service! My review is ONLY for the waterpark and dry park. I did not stay on property. I was trying to decide between this place or Noah's Ark. I decided on this place since they had a few unique slides and such a unique look! plus you got 2 parks in one. I am not a go kart person and they have quite a lot of them. My husband enjoyed those. I just watched. I really wanted to try the roller coasters and I was so lucky with NO lines. The 4 wooden coasters are rough and very intense rides. Would I ride them again? Probably not. But I was so glad I could try them. The waterpark was fun. I did spend most of my time in the indoor portion. However, I really enjoyed the lazy river outside. The crazy wave pool with the 9 foot waves ... scary and crazy... Also not for me but I enjoyed people watching. The rotating slide is really why I was there. I never been on something like this. I think it's the only one in the USA and wow was it weird. It was really fun and different and something I will be probably never experience again. It can give you a little bit of motion sickness due to the movement but if that's not an issue for you, you should be good. I also love a good hot tub which they had. This place has it all! First you walk in to the amusement park with rollercoasters and about 6 different go kart tracks, included with admission price. The rides were ok, definitely not for the weak! The go karts were super fun and easy to enjoy. We headed to the water park after this, and enjoyed the outdoor attractions first including the slides, wave pool and lazy river, and then headed inside to the indoor water park with the rotating slide! It was super cool and the line moved pretty fast. They also boast the tallest water slide in the country, but it is a long hike up there! Overall great day, easy to get a locker and a seat, lots of food options as well. They also have an indoor amusement park that we did not have time to do. Parking is $40 here. read more

Booked a stay with Mount Olympus Hotel for 2 nights for August 23-25, 2026, but we ended up leaving after the first night due to how disgusting the hotel was, in Building 10. List of disgusting issues: - dirty floors, see picture - dirty sink - flies - bugs, see picture - damp sheets - unwashed sheets and pillowcases - fresh blood found on one of the pillowcases on one of the bunk beds, see picture - water damage to bathroom door, see picture - boogers on bathroom wall behind door, see picture - toilet was running, had a bad handle - toilet was short enough for a toddler - candy was found along one of the queen beds, see picture - wall next to one of the queen beds had more spat that looked like food, along with water damage, see picture - blood spot on one of the queen beds under pillow, see picture - crooked tv and Mount, couldn't move back up, see picture - crooked door plate, good thing we could lock our door, see picture - bad outlet next to bunk bed On top of all this, there was an error on our booking that they would not honor after the 3rd party company had emailed the correct information. Customer service desk attendants and managers were very rude, unhelpful, repeated themselves, hid policy when asked, and acted as if we were criminals. When we came back the second time with an update, customer service attendant yelled across the room for assistance, when we didn't even get a single word out. Lied, they said they would adjust accommodations after 3rd party booking sent update. They told use they would not honor the adjustment and we had to pay. Then failed to comprehend when I repeated what they were offering. They said they didn't say it, then realized their mistake after I asked them to repeat what they were offering, then they understood. Also, want to mention that I had a 3rd party representative from the booking company on the phone that they would not speak too. I got a lot of blank stares for a long period of time in between long period of silence while agent was on the phone. Overall experience I will not return and my advice for anyone that has a problem, is video and audio record everything. All they do is lie and/or hide information from customers for their own gain, money. No refunds, I was told I will forfeit my stay if I leave, even though they were kicking us out for asking for the policy on kids ages and fees. They don't have to show you anything. FYI, kids older then 3 are considered adults for hotel and park use. You were all warned. This experience left a very bad taste, even though we spent hundreds of dollars years prior on the shops in the park and booked with them. We were not treated like a customer but a criminal. the lobby of 655 N Frontage Rd, Wisconsin Dells, WI 53965 has this eerie yellowish dim lighting that make the lobby looks like the BACKROOM. The building is very old. You will feel like you have traveled back in time when you enter the building. You can't beat the price of basically a free stay for the night if you're buying a water park ticket. I was looking for a reasonably priced water theme park in Dells. This place is probably the cheapest one. When booking a room in their resort, entry to water theme park is free. They have more than one resort. There is one 5 minutes away (need to commute in car, free parking permit provided) and another one1 minute away (walkable). The farther one is a lot cheaper - in weekdays it even goes to $40 sometimes plus tax and $60 resort fee). The closer one is more expensive, but not too expensive. Resort was so so. Rooms are old, carpet is old etc. Given the price, it may be ok. One thing I didn't like is, free wifi was unusable, cell phone signal was spotty as well. Water theme park was fun. It was big. I liked the outdoor water park better than indoor. Indoor theme park was fun as well. There was free towel for resort customers, which was even nicer. If we book resort for a night, we can use the theme park for the entire checking in day and checking out day, which is a nice value. Dole lemondade and orange juice were the only reasonably heathy drinks I could find. Chicken sandwich, burger and chicken strips were my main food items. All were reasonably good. read more

I grew up spending every summer in the dells and have continued to go as an adult. It truly feels like home to me and I know it well. I have rarely stayed in a hotel, however, normally I camp with family. This time around I wanted to spend time with family (who were camping) while also working my remote job during the day. Mt. Olympus happened to have the best rate. It was fine for me as someone familiar with the dells and who wasn't expecting much but you REALLY get what you pay for here. I didn't request any specific building or room and was put into a room in building 39 which is the main check in building. Upon entering my room, it looked dark and outdated but otherwise in fine condition. However, there were no exterior-facing windows at all. There was a window that overlooked an old, empty, closed down INDOOR pool area. Across the pool area I could see into other guests' rooms who had their curtains open as well. It left me feeling an eerie vibe (hello backrooms!) and claustrophobic as I had no way to even look outside. I also learned pretty quickly that I was not going to be able to connect to the "free WiFi" in my room to work. It would say "connected, no internet" whenever I tried to connect on any of my devices. After some googling I determined that the signal was getting to my room but it was too weak to actually form a connection. So I was forced to use my own data and work using my phone hotspot for 3 full work days. Not ideal. I checked the sheets on the beds and those apprared to be clean. The room and hallway areas did appear to be clean and I heard staff going by every day vacuuming and cleaning rooms. I believe the accommodations were clean albeit outdated and very run-down looking. At the end of the day I don't know what else you can expect for $50/night. I'm not sure if I would stay again, if so I'd request a different room. Not being able to see outside really messed with my psyche and if I thought about it too much I'd start feeling scared. So this was nice. Not having to stand in line. We've added the menu of items that are offered from the cabana. Our pizza was ordered at the location. This place does not even deserve one star. This is by far the worst hotel I have been in. My daughter stayed in the hotel building attached to the water park when she went with her family a few months ago. She said it was dated but clean. That is not what we experienced this time in mid-July, we were in building 39. The 'supervisor' (and manager eventually) at the front desk were obviously used to dealing with unhappy guests because it took us 2 visits back to the front desk and a room change to get our money back. She finally called the manager up after we got very upset. We use medical devices that require internet (couldn't get cell service in building either) and we couldn't get it in the building. The first rooms they gave us hadn't been cleaned. Crumbs in multiple places on the floor, dust on furniture, water rings on the nightstands, urine on toilet, refrigerator not wiped out, food stuck to bathroom floor and hair on the sheets of the bed. Interesting that the first (very dirty) rooms were better than what they moved us to. We were in building 39 for both rooms. Since we couldn't close our curtains, we had a great view of an abandoned pool..super creepy!! Beds were horrible and should be thrown away. One of them went down to the box springs when it was sat on. Before we finally got most of our money refunded ($50 cancellation fee for each room), they wanted to give us vouchers. And NEVER ride the medium rides on the huge slide tower thing. But Medusas slide wheel is there only good water slide. Never ride pegasus because I swear you will be seeing a chiropractor afterwards. It's Memorial Day weekend and they think it's acceptable to close the indoor water "park" without mentioning anything online (except for Medusa Slide being open) so they can divert their staff to the outdoor water park where the water is not heated. They should know this weekends weather is unpredictable. If you want to experience jumping in ice water just go for free to take a dip in Lake Michigan. My kids cried the entire day. The ad is full of false advertising. The room includes passes for 2 people no matter the size room you reserve. Each additional person is $20 per person per day. You reserve a room for 7 people you only receive 2 paid admissions. Then pay an additional $100 per day to cover 7 people plus additional taxes. Then we check into a dirty room. The room looks absolutely nothing like the pictures posted in the ad which I will post with this review. Pizza sauce onto the bedding, a/c filters covered in dust, a/c covered in something that looks like soda, floors are sticky, hair in the bunk bedding, stuff sprayed on the sealing, and there were barely supplies stocked. There is no staff on site at the hotel if you need anything. I was so excited when I booked this room. It looked absolutely beautiful then to check into a room that looks nothing like what I booked. read more

Overall, it's just a lot going on and the waterpark and the "indoor theme park" is just really small. I got an email for a good deal for the weekend, so that's why we went, but I think the other water parks offer more. They own about 40 other buildings for hotels and it's confusing and you have to drive to get to the waterpark which defeats the purpose of going there I think. The food in the waterpark is expensive and just ok. Lockers available if needed. If there's a lot of people in the waterpark , there's no tubes available for the small lazy river. The water slides were fun for the few moments I actually got to use them, but the customer service deserves its own exhibit in a museum titled "How Not to Treat Paying Guests." The most frustrating part? Other guests were able to receive refunds, but when it came to me, suddenly refunds became rarer than a clean locker room floor. Apparently, customer service runs on a lottery system, and I didn't buy the winning ticket. The staff had the flexibility of a concrete sidewalk. Instead of trying to solve the problem, it felt like their strategy was to hope I'd eventually get tired of asking and leave. Mission accomplished--but you've also guaranteed I won't be back. For a place that calls itself "Mt. Olympus," the customer service is more like a molehill. Even the Greek gods would have filed a complaint after dealing with this. If you're looking for thrilling rides, you might find a few. If you're looking for fair treatment when something goes wrong, bring a four-leaf clover, a lucky rabbit's foot, and maybe Zeus himself to argue your case. Thanks for the unforgettable experience. Great Waterpark and adventure park. This place isn't very wheelchair accessible. The hills are extreme in the adventure park and even with several guests helping me the incline was disastrous. Because we were not a guest in the hotel at had to park on the adventure side. Maybe they can make an exception for people who use manual wheelchairs next time. The kids loved the Waterpark. Looking for a room that doesn't have a view? No, don't mean view of the parking lot or expressway. How about a carpet so filthy the color is indistinguishable in most places and you have to wear shoes in the room so your feet don't get caked in dirt and hair? Perhaps a bathroom that has black mold all over it, a shower head that doesn't stay on, two scratchy yellowing towels that feel like sand paper, a single lamp that is covered in something sticky? How about a bunch of neighbors who look like a mashup between a narcotics anonymous meeting and a parole hearing? If you love the smell of decaying basements, mold, weed and rotten socks, this is your place to be! The water park and theme park was good but the I would not recommend staying at the resort. It was like staying at a Super 8. But there was no daily house keeping if you needed towels or a trash bag you had to either call the front desk which is across town and ask for the needed items. Or hopefully you catch the house keeping that is there for the rooms of people who have checked out. We had a issue with the toilet so I called the front desk then we left. Our experience at Mt. Olympus was absolutely terrible, especially considering the cost. The advertising makes it sound like everything is conveniently within a 3-5 minute walk or drive, but that is not the case unless you are willing to pay extra. The cleanliness and condition of the waterpark were also extremely disappointing. The water did not appear properly clean or sanitary, and the overall condition of the facilities made us question whether they were safe for our children. The hotel itself felt outdated, dirty, and poorly maintained. Honestly, it felt more like we were staying at an old, run-down motel than a family resort. The fact that the pool areas are not available after 7 PM is ridiculous when you are paying to use the waterparks for the entire weekend and no other pool available for the kids. We also encountered glass all over the parking lot and people openly smoking marijuana throughout the hotel and park, which made the environment feel uncomfortable and unsafe for families. The biggest disappointment was that we asked to leave and simply receive a refund for the unused portion of our stay. We weren't asking for anything free--we just wanted our money back for a stay we no longer felt comfortable continuing. They refused per policy and offered credit to the hotel to use for later date. Why would we come back? For what this place costs, I expected a much cleaner, safer, and better-maintained experience. Instead, it was a complete waste of money. Not great but not as bad as some of the other reviews I'm seeing. We stayed in one of the cabins in the campground. Check in was nightmarishly slow, with how often people have issues worthy of getting refunds I see why and support those going back to get theirs. The cabin was not easy to find and once we did find it, it is very unimpressive. Walls and ceiling were very thin, the nails keeping the frame and the roof together were all poking through. The single light is incredibly bright white with no shade. We did not have issues with bugs besides a spider or two. The bathroom situation was not great, pretty uncleanly - poop on the toilet seats and showers not worth considering using. The women's bathroom ran out of toilet paper and when we asked for them to restock it, they brought us one individual roll and said oh ya that's it, our toilet paper closet is empty. Room was not cleaned while we were there and the shared outside spaces were not tended to well either. There was a used floss pick outside of our door when we checked in that was still there when we checked out. For the waterpark beware of how strong the wave pool is. It truly washes you away in a manner that you cannot be in control. My buddy sliced open his toe with the first wave that came through. It was very difficult for him to get any care from the lifeguards when that happened. We tracked one down and asked where we could go to bandage it up and she didn't really have an answer. She guided him to walk to the other side of the park with his sliced toe on a rough pavement to what ended up being what seemed like a spot where the lifeguards take their breaks. There, the lifeguards were very confused why we would show up looking for help and weren't sure what "gauze" was when asked for it. Eventually we got a few band aids and gauze from them which immediately came off as they do not stock waterproof band aids. At the waterpark. I'm sure you can buy some in the gift shop though. If there was a worse injury it does not seem like the lifeguard staff is equipped to deal with it. read more

It was a long walk to the waterpark but we could get there indoors so a plus. The actual waterpark, was ok but i don't think I'd come back. I have a small child and the small child area was packed. The water looked a bit cloudy all over and someone stole my shoes. Yes, someone stole my shoes, so be prepared to lock up anything not attached to your body, oh and the lockers are $30. I honestly had a good day here, but my expectations were pretty low. The roller coasters all need work. They're all super rough and only run one train (leading to long lines). The go kart tracks are fun, but expect to be shoved into a slow, non-competitive kart that will most likely get rammed by some little kid. The new, massive water slide is an absolute pain and will screw up your back. The saving grace, besides the fun me and my friend made for ourselves, was the Medusa Slidewheel, which was totally awesome. This was one of the most disappointing experiences I've ever had at a water park. The park itself was underwhelming, with attractions that didn't live up to the hype, and the ticket prices were way too high for what was offered. The biggest issue was that the park closed in the middle of the day because of air quality. While I understand that safety should always come first, what was frustrating was that the air quality actually improved as the day went on. Even worse, the staff never mentioned when we bought our tickets that there was a possibility the park would be shutting down early. We paid full price expecting a full day and instead got sent home after only a few hours. For the amount of money we spent, there should have been much better communication before tickets were sold. At the very least, guests should have been warned about the risk of an early closure so they could decide whether it was worth buying tickets. Between the overpriced admission, mediocre experience, and poor communication, I definitely won't be coming back and can't recommend this park to anyone. read more

Never will I ever step into Wisconsin Dells, specifically Mount Olympus Resorts. I came to the Dells since it is a known trip destination to go to , but it was the most disgusting and the most unacceptable customer service I have ever dealt with. I came for my son's birthday and we stayed at a 4 bedroom House ( SPECIFICALLY HOUSE# 29C), which is a part of the Mt. Olympus Resort, and it is right across the street of the water and amusement park. The house was okay but later that night when my family were out to the water park, we bought pizza and left it on top of the stove , at around 3am I noticed a cockroach coming out of the stove and into the pizza. I immediately threw away the pizza and the garbage outside because that's just disgusting. I then called customer service to help me get a full refund of my stay. I spoke with John and Iugni at around 3:30am and they told me that they can't do anything until a manager comes in and in the meantime take pictures of what you saw, and someone will be coming at 9am to inspect the house for any more cockroaches.( THEY NEVER CAME) So I stayed up cause I couldn't sleep at the fact that there's cockroaches and also found a water bug around and I didn't want anybody coming near the kitchen area. As 9 am approached a manager called me back , the managers name was RAJ told me I couldn't get a full refund and that they were only going to give me $200 back for my stay. Mind you we checked in on Sunday, this all happened the first night and my departure date was Tuesday , my stay costed $1400 and I knew my family didn't wanna stay here at the Dells any longer. I told Raj that that was unacceptable to give back but that was the only thing they could do best for me. I took the offer since that was the only choice to get something back but what a terrible offer and not even staying the next day I didn't get nothing back for that. With the amount of money I lost my family and I came straight back home. Never again, and the most disrespectful unacceptable offer that was given to me. Now I'm left with the possibility of cockroaches coming back to me and my family. This will be me second review about Mt. Olympus, my first review was under the Google reviews about how disgusting my stay was and how awful the customer service had taken action to assist me about a cockroach being in our 4 bedroom house we rented out under the Mt. Olympus. With that being said, I noticed that after my review I was commented based on my poor experience from Mt. Olympus themselves and that I should call/ email them to further assist me personally on what had happened. So I gladly called them back and spoke to a different manager named Rochelle, I told her what the other manager Raj did to assist me with the whole cockroach issue and that I told her my family and I were going to leave from our stay and not even stay the other night. Based on the notes with Raj had put down she said I stayed there till Tuesday which was incorrect. Rochelle was going to look into the time I left the house and that she was going to wait the next day to speak to me so she can understand what had happened with the other manager and the reasoning they didn't compensate me for the last day that my family and I didn't even stay for. The next day came and they never called me, I called them back and when I was on hold to talk to the manager they never answered. So that just shows me they didn't further assist me and personally made me question if they really did there job on giving me what I should've gotten back. Just horrible. read more
