After reading all the one star reviews, it appears most are for the hotels. My review is for the water park only. This place is jam packed every day! It gets crowded but there are so many chairs if you arrive earlier than later. You can go down a water slide and a roller coaster all in the same day. read more

HORRIBLE!! The most amount of money I've paid for the WORST accommodations. The beds are not any better than a pull out sofa mattress. There are no plugs in the room for charging devices. I couldn't even plug my CPAP in without taking the lightbulbs out of a light fixture. NOT WORTH IT Not to mention the water park. Time limits and lines for the one adult hot tub. The ad is full of false advertising. The room includes passes for 2 people no matter the size room you reserve. Each additional person is $20 per person per day. You reserve a room for 7 people you only receive 2 paid admissions. Then pay an additional $100 per day to cover 7 people plus additional taxes. Then we check into a dirty room. The room looks absolutely nothing like the pictures posted in the ad which I will post with this review. Pizza sauce onto the bedding, a/c filters covered in dust, a/c covered in something that looks like soda, floors are sticky, hair in the bunk bedding, stuff sprayed on the sealing, and there were barely supplies stocked. There is no staff on site at the hotel if you need anything. I was so excited when I booked this room. It looked absolutely beautiful then to check into a room that looks nothing like what I booked. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. My visit to Mt. Olympus was somehow more disappointing than waiting in line for an hour just to find out the ride is closed. The water slides were fun for the few moments I actually got to use them, but the customer service deserves its own exhibit in a museum titled "How Not to Treat Paying Guests." The most frustrating part? Other guests were able to receive refunds, but when it came to me, suddenly refunds became rarer than a clean locker room floor. Apparently, customer service runs on a lottery system, and I didn't buy the winning ticket. The staff had the flexibility of a concrete sidewalk. Instead of trying to solve the problem, it felt like their strategy was to hope I'd eventually get tired of asking and leave. Mission accomplished--but you've also guaranteed I won't be back. For a place that calls itself "Mt. Olympus," the customer service is more like a molehill. Even the Greek gods would have filed a complaint after dealing with this. If you're looking for thrilling rides, you might find a few. If you're looking for fair treatment when something goes wrong, bring a four-leaf clover, a lucky rabbit's foot, and maybe Zeus himself to argue your case. Thanks for the unforgettable experience. I grew up spending every summer in the dells and have continued to go as an adult. It truly feels like home to me and I know it well. I have rarely stayed in a hotel, however, normally I camp with family. This time around I wanted to spend time with family (who were camping) while also working my remote job during the day. Mt. Olympus happened to have the best rate. It was fine for me as someone familiar with the dells and who wasn't expecting much but you REALLY get what you pay for here. I didn't request any specific building or room and was put into a room in building 39 which is the main check in building. Upon entering my room, it looked dark and outdated but otherwise in fine condition. However, there were no exterior-facing windows at all. There was a window that overlooked an old, empty, closed down INDOOR pool area. Across the pool area I could see into other guests' rooms who had their curtains open as well. It left me feeling an eerie vibe (hello backrooms!) and claustrophobic as I had no way to even look outside. I also learned pretty quickly that I was not going to be able to connect to the "free WiFi" in my room to work. It would say "connected, no internet" whenever I tried to connect on any of my devices. After some googling I determined that the signal was getting to my room but it was too weak to actually form a connection. So I was forced to use my own data and work using my phone hotspot for 3 full work days. Not ideal. I checked the sheets on the beds and those apprared to be clean. The room and hallway areas did appear to be clean and I heard staff going by every day vacuuming and cleaning rooms. I believe the accommodations were clean albeit outdated and very run-down looking. At the end of the day I don't know what else you can expect for $50/night. I'm not sure if I would stay again, if so I'd request a different room. Not being able to see outside really messed with my psyche and if I thought about it too much I'd start feeling scared. I will save everyone the misery we went through. Do not go here. Food is terrible, staff if not trained, and the arcade is so expensive. It's Memorial Day weekend and they think it's acceptable to close the indoor water "park" without mentioning anything online (except for Medusa Slide being open) so they can divert their staff to the outdoor water park where the water is not heated. They should know this weekends weather is unpredictable. If you want to experience jumping in ice water just go for free to take a dip in Lake Michigan. My kids cried the entire day. I was looking for a reasonably priced water theme park in Dells. This place is probably the cheapest one. When booking a room in their resort, entry to water theme park is free. They have more than one resort. There is one 5 minutes away (need to commute in car, free parking permit provided) and another one1 minute away (walkable). The farther one is a lot cheaper - in weekdays it even goes to $40 sometimes plus tax and $60 resort fee). The closer one is more expensive, but not too expensive. Resort was so so. Rooms are old, carpet is old etc. Given the price, it may be ok. One thing I didn't like is, free wifi was unusable, cell phone signal was spotty as well. Water theme park was fun. It was big. I liked the outdoor water park better than indoor. Indoor theme park was fun as well. There was free towel for resort customers, which was even nicer. If we book resort for a night, we can use the theme park for the entire checking in day and checking out day, which is a nice value. Dole lemondade and orange juice were the only reasonably heathy drinks I could find. Chicken sandwich, burger and chicken strips were my main food items. All were reasonably good. read more

This is the worst resort experience I have ever had. The hotel rooms are sparse and drab, with 2x4 constructed side table and tv stand. The rooms are noisy, with paper thin walls. I could hear the people breathing in the room next to me. There was a lot of activity in the hallway after midnight. It was hotel security evacuating a room a couple doors down. It sounds like they had bed bugs. We had a room booked for 2 nights but left after the first. Management would not give a refund only a credit, which we declined, Save your money, go anywhere but here. read more

This was one of the most disappointing experiences I've ever had at a water park. The park itself was underwhelming, with attractions that didn't live up to the hype, and the ticket prices were way too high for what was offered. The biggest issue was that the park closed in the middle of the day because of air quality. While I understand that safety should always come first, what was frustrating was that the air quality actually improved as the day went on. Even worse, the staff never mentioned when we bought our tickets that there was a possibility the park would be shutting down early. We paid full price expecting a full day and instead got sent home after only a few hours. For the amount of money we spent, there should have been much better communication before tickets were sold. At the very least, guests should have been warned about the risk of an early closure so they could decide whether it was worth buying tickets. Between the overpriced admission, mediocre experience, and poor communication, I definitely won't be coming back and can't recommend this park to anyone. read more

We had a great time at the theme and water parks on Monday (July 7, 2025). We decided to book a cabana that was just outside of the pool. We had "room service" for our food and water. So this was nice. Not having to stand in line. We've added the menu of items that are offered from the cabana. Our pizza was ordered at the location. Our cabana included towels (not to take with), a fridge (no beverages), two chairs, a couch, two loungers, a table and a locker key. read more

Overall, it's just a lot going on and the waterpark and the "indoor theme park" is just really small. I got an email for a good deal for the weekend, so that's why we went, but I think the other water parks offer more. They own about 40 other buildings for hotels and it's confusing and you have to drive to get to the waterpark which defeats the purpose of going there I think. The food in the waterpark is expensive and just ok. Lockers available if needed. If there's a lot of people in the waterpark , there's no tubes available for the small lazy river. I don't think we'd stay here again. read more

I would give this stay 1 out of 5 stars. Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. Our room had ants, the microwave was dirty when we arrived, and the bathroom smelled musty the entire time. There wasn't a fan in the bathroom, which made the smell and humidity even worse. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and felt like they had hard plastic mattress covers, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. There were also no window shades or blackout curtains, so the room filled with light early in the morning. To make matters worse, there was no Wi-Fi available, which was very inconvenient. For the price we paid, I expected a much cleaner and more comfortable room. The water park was okay. My kids were bored woth the theme park and waterpark after a few hours. So we ate the cost of the next full day and went to Noah's Ark. The condition of the accommodations really took away from the overall experience. I would not choose to stay here again unless significant improvements are made. read more

Great Waterpark and adventure park. This place isn't very wheelchair accessible. The hills are extreme in the adventure park and even with several guests helping me the incline was disastrous. Because we were not a guest in the hotel at had to park on the adventure side. Maybe they can make an exception for people who use manual wheelchairs next time. The kids loved the Waterpark. The outdoors Waterpark had something for everyone. Their pools were roll in so you could enjoy that if you were on a wheelchair. Everyone was extremely nice. Lines were long long long! read more

You'd be better off renting out a Porta Potty or sleeping in your car than staying at this abomination of a "hotel." We had the misfortune of being offered a room in Building 39. Looking for a room that doesn't have a view? No, don't mean view of the parking lot or expressway. I mean, NO VIEW as in they spray paint your windows black so you have no lighting because they blocking out an empty pool? This is your place! How about a carpet so filthy the color is indistinguishable in most places and you have to wear shoes in the room so your feet don't get caked in dirt and hair? Maybe you'd like a mattress that hasn't been switched out since 1993, with dead bedbugs underneath it? Maybe you prefer a room that has roaches dead under the beds and in the corners? Perhaps a bathroom that has black mold all over it, a shower head that doesn't stay on, two scratchy yellowing towels that feel like sand paper, a single lamp that is covered in something sticky? How about a bunch of neighbors who look like a mashup between a narcotics anonymous meeting and a parole hearing? If you love the smell of decaying basements, mold, weed and rotten socks, this is your place to be! Then to get your money back they extort you by trying to force you to sign a waiver promising not to sue. Totally normal! Avoid. I stayed with a friend in her timeshare with the waterpark, so I have no idea the pricing. Our room was immaculate and amazing with a kitchenette. It was attached to the waterpark building. It was a long walk to the waterpark but we could get there indoors so a plus. The actual waterpark, was ok but i don't think I'd come back. I have a small child and the small child area was packed. The water looked a bit cloudy all over and someone stole my shoes. Yes, someone stole my shoes, so be prepared to lock up anything not attached to your body, oh and the lockers are $30. I honestly had a good day here, but my expectations were pretty low. The roller coasters all need work. They're all super rough and only run one train (leading to long lines). The go kart tracks are fun, but expect to be shoved into a slow, non-competitive kart that will most likely get rammed by some little kid. The new, massive water slide is an absolute pain and will screw up your back. The saving grace, besides the fun me and my friend made for ourselves, was the Medusa Slidewheel, which was totally awesome. There is fun to be had here, but your money is better spent elsewhere, especially when parking is $40 and tickets are $35/piece. Also, I've heard the owner kicks dogs. read more

Here has already been paid and no refunds able to be refunded, which is fine. However, an I'm sorry Is not going Rectify the issues with this hotel/resort. I am appalled with the Lack of service I have received here. I will never come back to this resort ever again and I do not recommend it to anyone if you're looking for a safe, fun, hospitable resort/lodging. It just seems that anybody off the street can be hired to work here, it's disgusting to see housekeepers, leaning against the walls, looking like there's nothing for them to do talking and when the halls are a little bit narrow, they won't get out of the way or say excuse me. It's just the most despicable place I've ever been to in my entire life. I don't recommend this resort theme park at all again. The biggest issue is people that work here. Do not know about the park. Do not know how to do their job. It is just disgusting how this park/resort is being run. Again I'm going to reiterate I will never come back and spend the hundreds close to $1000-$2000. Never will I ever step into Wisconsin Dells, specifically Mount Olympus Resorts. I came to the Dells since it is a known trip destination to go to , but it was the most disgusting and the most unacceptable customer service I have ever dealt with. I came for my son's birthday and we stayed at a 4 bedroom House ( SPECIFICALLY HOUSE# 29C), which is a part of the Mt. Olympus Resort, and it is right across the street of the water and amusement park. The house was okay but later that night when my family were out to the water park, we bought pizza and left it on top of the stove , at around 3am I noticed a cockroach coming out of the stove and into the pizza. I immediately threw away the pizza and the garbage outside because that's just disgusting. I then called customer service to help me get a full refund of my stay. I spoke with John and Iugni at around 3:30am and they told me that they can't do anything until a manager comes in and in the meantime take pictures of what you saw, and someone will be coming at 9am to inspect the house for any more cockroaches.( THEY NEVER CAME) So I stayed up cause I couldn't sleep at the fact that there's cockroaches and also found a water bug around and I didn't want anybody coming near the kitchen area. As 9 am approached a manager called me back , the managers name was RAJ told me I couldn't get a full refund and that they were only going to give me $200 back for my stay. Mind you we checked in on Sunday, this all happened the first night and my departure date was Tuesday , my stay costed $1400 and I knew my family didn't wanna stay here at the Dells any longer. I told Raj that that was unacceptable to give back but that was the only thing they could do best for me. I took the offer since that was the only choice to get something back but what a terrible offer and not even staying the next day I didn't get nothing back for that. With the amount of money I lost my family and I came straight back home. Never again, and the most disrespectful unacceptable offer that was given to me. Now I'm left with the possibility of cockroaches coming back to me and my family. This will be me second review about Mt. Olympus, my first review was under the Google reviews about how disgusting my stay was and how awful the customer service had taken action to assist me about a cockroach being in our 4 bedroom house we rented out under the Mt. Olympus. With that being said, I noticed that after my review I was commented based on my poor experience from Mt. Olympus themselves and that I should call/ email them to further assist me personally on what had happened. So I gladly called them back and spoke to a different manager named Rochelle, I told her what the other manager Raj did to assist me with the whole cockroach issue and that I told her my family and I were going to leave from our stay and not even stay the other night. Based on the notes with Raj had put down she said I stayed there till Tuesday which was incorrect. Rochelle was going to look into the time I left the house and that she was going to wait the next day to speak to me so she can understand what had happened with the other manager and the reasoning they didn't compensate me for the last day that my family and I didn't even stay for. The next day came and they never called me, I called them back and when I was on hold to talk to the manager they never answered. So that just shows me they didn't further assist me and personally made me question if they really did there job on giving me what I should've gotten back. Just horrible. read more

Paint all over the walls, hair in the towels, old eyelashes stuffed in the table, uncomfortable beds.... and now the park itself. 1. Bloody tampon on the side of the pool. 2. Smelled like piss. 3. UPDATE: we just found bugs my family of 4 stayed in hotel Rome, attached to the waterpark. we had two queen plus bunk bed room.. right when we checked in, our hotel room was disgusting. the main sink had brown marks and hair in it, the bathtub also had hair in it. the tv remote didn't work, and there was no way to get a new one. one of the queen beds was so sunken in you could feel the structure under the mattress, and it creaked with the slightest movement. we stayed 3 nights (tues-fri) and all 3 nights were horrible noise wise. even during quiet hours, all we could hear was yelling and running up and down the hallways, and jumping and stomping above us. even as late as 2am.. keep in mind everything (pool/park) is closed by 9pm. and then nothing opens back up until 10am so if you have kids good luck keeping them entertained all morning. very dissatisfied. read more

Booked on hotels.com and was expecting to stay at the address in which my booking said the property location was (655 N. Frontage Road). Was very unpleasantly surprised when I was then told to go to an off campus motel with outdoor doors leading directly into the room (1571 Wisconsin dells pkwy). Called to ask to be put in the main campus as was advertised and booked under, and I was told I need to pay more than double my original booking cost... BE WARNED FUTURE GUESTS, NEVER COMING BACK. Spend the extra money and stay at the wilderness. And also- the ONE indoor waterpark they had was over packed, an insane and unsafe amount of people, and absolutely no where to even put your things. Lets start with the hotel. Hotel Rome needs help. We were in a 1st floor room. We could hear every step they took in the room above us. And someone in that room paced back and forth most of the night. We could also hear people making noise in the rooms next to us. Finally quieted down around 2 am. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and i woke up in horrible back pain. There are two hard wood chairs in the room. Only soft seating in the room is the bed. Most uncomfortable room ive ever stayed in. There is a kind of table to set your suitcases on. Minimally furnished. No floor mat to step out of shower on. On to the waterpark. Under previous owner many years ago there were tables, chairs, chaise lounges. Tables and chaise lounges are gone. Only chairs remain lined up one next to the other in a few places and they aren't great chairs although they are slightly better than the awful chairs in the room. And today not enough chairs for all the people. Lots of lifeguards which was a plus. Another plus - the pools were warm! There is One GREAT tube ride that goes outside the building into a whirling set of tubes. Warming pool and hot tub plus couple other pools and kiddie pool. One body slide and one tube ride inside. If you need a locker (most likely for using waterpark after checkout) its $30. I was stunned - for a few hours use of a locker. It is january 2025 so only indoor waterpark is open. The outdoor waterpark is impressive and i have been there a number of times. But if u come in the summer stay at a nicer hotel. Trust me! Food was expensive in house and hamburger AND Fries were cooked in a microwave. Never eat food here. Alcohol drink $15. Yikes! Ok they had a deal. I see why. I wont come back. Although the taxes and fees for two nights were like $72 so it wasn't that great a deal. As far as indoor waterparks in the winter there are some great choices. This is NOT ONE OF THEM! If you are coming here in winter go to a different hotel and waterpark. There are some great ones. This one is not one of them. Please save yourself disappointment and go elsewhere. Your kids and your back will thank you for it. I could go on about how they have bought 2/3 of the hotels in the dells, gave them awful names like building 29, building 30, etc. and now they are changing the outsides of them to the same horrible color combination presumably so u know that they own half or more of the town. JUST UGH! As for names there are so many good names they could use Athena Hotel, etc instead of building numbers. And im sure the city government is closing their eyes to the color coordinated buildings. Probably cringe in their chairs at city council meetings. Im Sorry for this review - i had hoped to have a great experience with my brother who is being treated for cancer and wanted one last fun waterpark experience before resuming chemo. He and I were both disappointed. And a huge sorry to my brother cause i picked this place. It was actually nice before Mt Olympus purchased it. Hands down the worst experience at a park I've ever had. After trying to find the check in building for over 2 hours with no one in any of they're building able to help, we were checked into a room that smelled like pee so bad you couldn't breath and it was filthy. Immediately went ad demanded a refund and left. Came over to the Great Wolf Lodge and had the time of our lives. It was clean and everyone was helpful fun and polite. Great food Great room and a great staff. Pay a few extra bucks and go any ware eles but Mt Olympus. read more

Booked a trip there for a birthday in January to visit the indoor waterpark upon arrival the room had big red stains near the door that appeared to be blood stains the carpet was filthy hair and debris all over looks like it hadn't been vacuumed or dusted in months the room facing outward was facing a brick wall in the pool room where the indoor swimming pool was right above the brick wall was moldy ceiling tiles had no Wi-Fi the day we checked in when calling to complain was told that it was an open Wi-Fi and a basic package but did not offer any other packages for Wi-Fi and was told that it works when it works and it doesn't when it doesn't after getting a night sleep going to the waterpark for the first day cannot wait to go back to the hotel and take showers realizing there was no hot water called guest services at 9:40 they said that they would send someone up right away at 10:40 a man came up and checked to see if we had hot water realizing we did not was told they would try to resolve it right away after an hour later the kids went to bed with no showers and could not watch a movie due to still no Internet was not able to connect to the Wi-Fi the whole day and being located in the center of the hotel had very bad cell phone reception around midnight called guest services to find out about the hot water situation thinking maybe we could all take showers in the morning was told to hang on while they figured out what was going on and then was hung up on and they would not pick up the phone after the next morning after I seem to talk to a hotel manager and was told that the manager was unavailable was offered an extra couple hours to use the room in a $20 credit to use at the park this felt like kind of an insult but went on with our day and went to the indoor waterpark for the second day for a little bit and then went to the indoor arcade and amusement park that was advertised as included with the room package realizing the only thing that was included were four things in the amusement park which were a teacup ride a swing ride bumper cars and a bus thing that went up and down that was broke at the time the arcade the mountain climbing the bowling all cost money hardly worth even worth going had no real issues at the indoor waterpark besides when you get there there's no direction or explanation of what to do you kinda have to walk around and figure it out there's no place to change and into bathing suits or out of bathing suits except for dirty bathroom stalls that have pee filled floors and nowhere to store towels or clothing or belongings unless you want to pay $30 for a locker my advice is to get a hotel somewhere else and then pay to use the indoor waterpark read more

We are still on site as we told Miriam after we spoke to her the other day, we have family that arrived today, so unfortunately we couldn't just leave! This place is a DUMP!!! Smells of marijuana in the halls, floor is disgusting and we won't even walk on it barefoot. I'm worried about bed bugs. I honestly have never stayed anywhere worse! Please... do NOT waste your money here! Shithole!!!!! Pay the entrance fee for the park and stay somewhere else! We've tried calling as our air is STILL NOT working... nothing! Either I'm hung up on or told someone will come check. When you pay $900 for 3 nights you expect better. Staff don't care and are not friendly and don't even speak English. read more

It's possibly seen better days. It's pretty cheap and run down. The staff were lazy, rude, and clearly didn't have any reason to give a damn. We got free passes by staying in the crappy motel with the same name. The wifi doesn't work, the room smells awful, and overall it's just crappy across the board. It's pretty sad for the Dells that this establishment has bought up most of the strip and now just churns out mediocre experiences. read more

The rooms were disgusting and no WiFi. Do not book here. My cousin and I chose to stay here given it was a lot of first search results but never again. When we called to change rooms first they were saying our rooms would be far apart, then they said that they would give us a park credit for next time (note not a room credit just park credit) but we don't want that either given how the rooms are. Then they moved rooms for us and allowed us to inspect it. It was cleaner but had some stains. I asked to show the attendant the room I was in because I managed in service and I would want to know if my colleagues needed to improve (I said this politely) I showed the room and they just said it's a stain or didn't comment when I showed something. Eventually they said it was because renovations were happening - spiders and cobwebs? - dirty window - VERY dusty floor - toilet stain - tub stain Attached are some pics When we got the new rooms they switched the amount of keys. Easy switch right? Nope my cousin was on the phone for a good 10 mins. The guy on the phone was more concerned about placing blame on his colleague than solving our issue. I DO NOT RECCOMEND -We stayed at the Rome Hotel right on the waterside resort, after being upgraded from a room that was so dirty-it smelled of urine and bad decisions!!! Ok back to Rome, NO SECURITY at all- NO CAMERAS and NO SAFETY for anyone -my car was vandalized- of course no help at all from MT Olympus just given the run around of how they are not responsible -the maintenece guys were partying in the room next to ours kept us up all night thursday the 3rd of July- complety inappropiate behavior- We stayed on the 3rd floor. We checked in at another location- 2 miles away from this hotel, Ganella a manager was so rude- her demener was so obvious. She did not care about anything, pretty much told us to kick rocks- our concerns were not valid and they were not going to assist us. The CSR just wanted us to leave and did not allow questions stating "it is in your reservation" I also seen a life guard take a lil boy from the Iracus pool and took him away somewhere- I stopped him and said "what are you doing" the lifeguard stated he was lost and the little boy was trying to tell me where his mom was -the little boy had a ombre swim shorts turquoise sand green on- he was caramel complexion and bright blond hair. The life guard took him in his arms and he just left.I tried to find someone to help but I was disregarded. he went to an employee only area. I WAS TOLD THERE WAS NO NEED TO CALL THE POLICE BY A GUY IN BLACK BY THE FRONT of THE HOTEL ENTRANCE AT The WP-WATCH YOUR CHILDREN. I would stay far away from this water park- we went in one person in our party is diabetic and they refused to allow us to enter with her gluclose sucker stating it was an "outside snack" so frustrating- after talking to management we still were not allowed to bring in her medication-ok now lets get to pricing of thier beer, beverages and food- $9.50 for a can of beer 12 oz, $5.00 a bottle of water, $5.00 a bottle of soda- We ordered chicken tenders for $20.00 we received old and stale chicken with hard old friess-we did not even bother to say anything- Our order was over $200 - I could go on and on about the poor treatment from the staff and management of this place but it will not matter-GO to a safe and nicer place.
