Was given an appointment date after the initial visit to determine cost. The day prior to my move out cleaning I reach out and ask for an update to the arrival time as I have not heard anything from the company. I get told by the lady who did my estimate that I am not on the schedule and that there was a form I was suppose to sign via email. I never received this form nor was I aware to be on the lookout for one. I tried calling the main office twice and no one answered. I am now going to have to clean my house myself one day prior to moving out. Your companies communication needs improvement and your main office needs to answer it's phones. Sorry but I cannot recommend this company. I requested their services for Move-out cleaning and asked for specific areas to be cleaned such as the stove, refrigerator, bathrooms, cabinets, windows, blinds and ceiling fans. They agreed to it over the phone and estimated 6 hours. A night before the appointment they called to cancel because they were overbooked, so we had to rescheduled. When the cleaning ladies showed up they said that they did not have the cleaning supplies needed for the blinds and walls so they would need to come back the next day. They came back the next day but refused to clean some areas. I received a call from them and the manager letting me know that they could not clean these areas because they were really dirty and it would take them more than time than what they had estimated so I told them to take a couple more hours if needed. Well, they did not even work the 6 hours and gave excuses for everything. They only cleaned the 2 bathrooms, stove and fridge. I know that the house needed deep cleaning in some areas which requires time but I felt that they took way too long in these areas, did not want to do too much work and were in a rush. I just had our apartment cleaned by Jasmine and Dionne (first time using Castle, after finding them in yelp)... I highly recommend them! They made my daughter and myself feel like family and these ladies were very efficient and personable. They work fast and efficiently and thorough as well. I am only leaving this review because I feel like I need to get the word out and owe it to more people in my area/community to tell them about Castle and how they can be very assured using them. I needed my gutters cleaned for the up-coming rains. Marcus, who called set up appointment was polite, on-time, knew his job was a pleasure to work with. This man with additional co-worker not only cleaned my gutter, they hosed down the downspouts to make sure they were not clogged, and finished with taking pictures to show the completed job. I hired these guys last year. I've used professional house cleaners before and it usually takes about 5 total man hours to clean. I left my place to run errands and they called me saying the 2 cleaners were "done" after about half that time. When I came back my suspicions were correct and it was barely cleaned. I directed them to go over it again as it was still dusty, crap on the carpet, kitchen sink was covered in gunk still, etc. After that, when it still didn't look clean, I gave up, knowing I would just have to finish myself and find another company for next time. When *I* clean my gutters I sometimes skip this one trouble spot that is out of sight and nasty to muck out: Nathan and Jesse got it without me pointing it out. They got the ashy abandoned webs from the usual places, AND didn't skip the high-up garage attic vents which I've been pretending don't exist. Bushes pruned, clutter cleared. Excellent service from start to finish: I talked to Castle on the phone, they briefed Nathan and Jesse, who showed up and confirmed the to-do list like friendly professionals and then got down to it. They did the kind of work that they are proud to show you at the end of the job, and that you are relieved to see. I easily got some reasonable price quotes, never before using any service like this and therefore having no benchmark for prices. I made an appointment for just a couple convenient days in the future and held my breath. When I came home to see what had been done, I was amazed! Not only was excellent general cleaning and waste disposal executed wonderfully, but the presentation and organization of all the little things like drinking glasses and nick-nacks on the coffee table was the icing on the cake. I am the listing agent selling this house and the owners left me the key and a very messy home to sell. We just had our apartment cleaned by Dionne and Lorena as part of moving out. Castle operates on a "window of time" so they expected to be there between 11a-1p. They arrived on the fairly early side of that window at 11:55a. No muss, no fuss. They went right up to the apartment, asked what I wanted, and got right to work. 3 hours later and my apartment was left sparkling and clean! If you want a no frills (which usually means more $$) down to earth cleaning company, castle cleaning is the way to go. Dionne and Lorena made moving out far less stressful. Also, they are very reasonably priced. 3 hours of work with two cleaners cost me $147. Definitely a fair price for all the detail work they did. read more

I found Castle Services on Craigslist San Francisco and called immediately. They are based in Sacramento but had no problem traveling to help us out. We had the Creekside Smokehouse in Half Moon Bay and were forced to close and had to vacate the premises within a few days. Their ad covered everything I needed done from shed removal to taking away any and everything we needed to remove from the property. Nathan answered the phone and my prayers. He said it would be no problem and set up an appointment to drive down to the Coast and help us haul literally everything away. They had that shed down and in the back of the truck within an hour. They are the best of the best. Above all, Nathan and Eizele (I hope I'm spelling it right) were very well natured, professional, easy to talk to and never made me feel rushed, which is unheard of these days. I was looking for a yard clean up service in the Dixon area. Was able to hire Castle. At first I wasn't sure as there was a mix up on scheduling dates, I had planned for a specific day & time, but apparently they scheduled me for the following week. I was disappointed and frustrated. They were very apologetic and got a team out the next day. The team showed up on time and worked really hard for the full amount of time. They were so great I hired them 2 more times and have set up ongoing yard service. They are professional and hard working and pricing is fair. I really recommend using this service!! I so wanted to write a 5 star review, alas I can not. My initial contact with Castle was AWESOME!!! So I had really high hopes. The communication during the transaction was also great!! But I seems to me that someone that does this day in and day out can give an estimate based on size of a unit and items that need to be hauled. I was given a bid of $252.00 for a move out stuff and that needed to be hauled (not a lot) and the clean out of a studio apartment which I said had a "smell" (my mother elderly you know the old lady smell). But when I got the final bill it was $324, I'm sorry but $60.00 difference is quite a difference - Don't get me wrong the place did look great, not awesome, but great - I will have to wait and see how much of the deposit we get back and based on that I may increase by stars but right now I would say YES use them but add to what they bid knowing it will be more. UPDATED REVEIW - I left a review yesterday at 3 stars due to the increase in the cost from the bid amount. Nathan got right back to me and apologized and offered me refund of $25, I ask that he give it to the crew as a tip as I did not leave them one due to the increase in price. So I hope that he gives it to the crew. Nathan really cares about his business reputation it is really nice to see that in a business. My backyard has been accumulating junk that I've been wanting to get rid of for a while. In addition, I had an old rusted shed taking up space in the corner of my yard and an old AC (metal and stupid heavy) sitting on the floor of my workshop. What I think is so unique about this service is that they do so many things. We had a bathroom cabinet that needed to be demolished to make way for a new one, plus some yard junk.
