If I could, I would give them 50 stars. Brian helped me setup the appointment and was extremely professional and a great communicator. Seth came to do the work. I needed them to fix a botched scratch repair on an engineered stone surface (quartz). This surface is notoriously difficult to work on and you'll not find many people who know how to repair it. Seth is a great guy and very knowledgeable. He protected everything in the area. He clearly is a master of doing this type of work. It took a long time to fix things and his standards are extremely high. In the end, the countertop looks better than it did when the fabricators were done. I'm extremely grateful for the time and effort they put into this job. Had More's Anti-Etch applied by Castles as part of a large kitchen and bath remodel. They were easy to work with and finished the job on schedule but the result was not great visually. Our white marble hasn't stained but before we even moved in there were many smears, marks, pits, scratches and un-honed areas. When I pointed this out to my building contractor he said it was normal and was how all Castle's projects looked! It's been very disappointing and if it wasn't so expensive I would consider having it redone by someone else.cannit recommend. read more

I will absolutely do business with Castles again. We were moving out of a rental house after being there for two years. I kept putting off getting it done since we were still moving out and I didn't want to deal with carpets at the same time. Brian was able to get me scheduled the last week, and in fact the last day, before we needed to be out of the house. He came out on a Saturday evening at 4:00 and spent about 3 1/2 hours cleaning. He was right on time and went right to work measuring the house. His measurements came out slightly less than what I had estimated, so the cost was actually less than what he quoted me over the phone - thank you for being honest! The price included vacuuming, cleaning the carpets, vacuuming baseboards, and raking the carpet. It also included some treatments that made it less likely for the existing spots to come back. Yes, we paid more than some of the other places quoted me. Brian is the only one that asked any questions about square footage, areas of emphasis (pet odors, stains, etc.), and a few others before quoting me a price. I felt like he had the best grasp of what the work actually entailed rather than low-balling the price and asking for more later. Best of all, when he was done the floors were beautiful. After contacting Brian about cleaning my carpets, he came over next day and did an estimate. He was able to do the job the next day. We have the carpets cleaned by other services but none even come close to the results from Brian's job. He was slightly higher priced than previous cleaners but the superior results were well worth the couple of extra dollars. Brian responded quickly to phone messages and arrived when he said he would. If you want your carpets cleaned beyond expectations (the ten year old carpets look better than new) by a very professional, polite, and prompt individual call Brian at Castle Home Services. Brian (the owner of Castle Home Services) was supposed to clean the whole house (two upstairs bathrooms and the main first floor tile. When he came over to inspect our home and give us a cost to clean it I asked him to remove his shoes (we don't wear shoes in our house - we believe it's filthy to track in dirt and germs from outside and public restrooms). He removed his shoes with no problem (as have all the other cleaners/workers/servicemen who have entered our home over the years). We just had our carpets cleaned 1 week earlier by a different company who, again, had no problem whatsoever removing his shoes and commented that many people ask him to do that. The day Brian showed up to clean our tile I asked him again to remove his shoes but he said he wouldn't do it. He claimed he had to go outside to his vehicle and back inside the whole time. Not true. Once he brought all his supplies inside he rarely went outside and could have easily removed his shoes and put them back on when doing so. We did not have him to do the upstairs bathrooms as he would have walked on our carpet (recently cleaned) with dirty shoes. We already arranged our schedule for the day off, we wanted our tile cleaned, we waited for the appointment, and the downstairs was in more need of cleaning than the upstairs - so we had him clean the tile downstairs. We just mopped the floor after he left. I honestly never thought it would be an issue. It had never been an issue before with anyone who has come into our home. Brian was not apologetic or nice about it either. To agree to something before hand and then on it is unprofessional. We are just disappointed that he does not have the respect or work ethic that all the other service people have had who worked on our home. He even tried to over charge us for the work when he was done!! Our neighbors were interested in getting their tile cleaned as well but we did not recommend they use Castle's service because of the aforementioned problem. Do yourself a favor and use another company (there are plenty reputable companies out there). You will save yourself a lot of grief and actually get what you agreed to. read more
