I was freaked out thinking I needed to rip the whole shower out and start over, but Adam diagnosed that it was just one bad line of grout. Don't let the name fool, you...Adam and team do more than just "grout"! It's your one-stop tile and grout team. They really are master craftsmen. We have been steadily remodeling our 1947 California Tract Ranch home, complete with pink tile bathroom circa 1950. Much of the grout in our shower and bathroom was worn, dirty, and cracked and the caulking needed a complete overhaul.. Some of the original pepto bismol pink tile had been filled with mismatched putty over the years, etc. Adam was able to accommodate us in his busy schedule and was always on time and great at communicating. I am beyond happy that I discovered Adam Price and his grout cleaning/restoration company on Yelp. I am a very discerning customer and incredibly detail-oriented. I work only with people I can rely on and who have proven to produce a superior product time and time again. Given Adam's superb track record of five-star performances on Yelp, I decided to call him in January 2016. In fact, I called him months in advance because I wanted to schedule a May 2016 cleaning right at the projected end of what I expected to be a 4-month remodeling project. I gave myself a big head start because I wanted to have time to find the best professional for doing work in our kitchen and three bathrooms (all have stock 4x4 white tile and grout that have darkened after from years of family use). I knew I had found the right company upon my first contact with Adam, and that faith in him and his company held through the end of the job. With Adam, I found a professional who exceeded my expectations across the board in terms of knowledge about his field, customer communication, and performance on the job. The result was a finished product that transformed my 1980s vintage white tile counters into a look that now enhances rather than fights against my kitchen's and bathrooms' updated modern look. I really don't think I've ever met another professional who has the same solid combination of people skills and attention to detail on the job. As an aside, I want to say that after I first contacted Adam in January 2016, I contacted him several times to request multiple changes to our agreed-upon May date for work. Every time I contacted him, I received an answer within 24 hours, and I always received the maximum accommodation to my request. There was never any hesitation on Adam's part to make an adjustment, and never any indication from him that I was inconveniencing him. In fact, he happily allowed me to change the date of my grout cleaning at least THREE times due to scheduling conflicts I had with other subcontractors working at our home during our 4-month-long updating. He was also completely transparent about his costs and gave me several options so that I could decide what I wanted and did not want to do. Without my even asking, he voluntarily added some basic cleaning services at a reduced cost as a courtesy given the extensive scope of work for our several-day job. He worked diligently with me to find the perfect color for the grout in our kitchen. That was not an easy task given my exacting standards. Finally, I feel strongly compelled to challenge the one lone Yelper who gave Adam the only poor review I can see. It is my consistent and reliable experience that when there's one bad review in a list of highly positive reviews such as Adam has received, the problem is with the customer and not the service provider. I am confident that is the case with Adam. In no universe can I imagine any situation where Adam would have done something to earn the low rating the one Yelper gave him. I say that with confidence because it is so clear that his number one priority is making his customers happy. Additionally, we just had Adam do another round of work for us at a rental property (on July 12, 2016). As before, Adam worked diligently with me to ensure the right color for the grout sealant. At day's end, the result was another completely professional and well-done job. To summarize, Adam is one of the most honest, customer-service oriented, and professional individuals I have ever encountered through Yelp. He clearly takes pride in his work; he clearly knows what he's doing; and his good communication skills, talent on the job, and transparency in his business practices are a hard combination to find. I had Adam and Isreal work on our shower, kitchen counter top and floor. Our tile was 30 years old and the grout was dingy. We were originally planning on tearing it all out but wanted to wait a few years. We explored all options. Now it looks brand new! Our kitchen floor looks better then when it was originally installed. We originally picked a brown grout. Adam and Isreal "stain sealed" it a light beige color. It looks wonderful and seamless. We will not be looking to tear any of it out now. They arrived on time both days. I had some problems with the grout on my kitchen floor tiles cracking and coming out. I called Adam, and he came to my home to give me a quote. He discovered that several of the tiles were loose, and that was the cause of the grout problems. He said he could fix the loose tiles without having to take any of them out. Two days later he arrived to do the work. He removed the grout around the loose tiles and injected an adhesive into them. Then he re-grouted around those tiles, and my kitchen floor looks really nice now. While he was here, I had him re-caulk around both my bathtub and shower.
