This mall has plenty to offer and is incredibly easy to navigate. I can always find a store worth browsing through and ways to spend my hard earned money. ha It offers great restaurant options and both indoor and outdoor shopping ... great for all seasons! This is the best mall in the Indy area, which is why I give it 4 stars. Lot,s of stores, lots of good parking, good layout, generally clean, food court is decent. If you must go to a mall then this is the one. read more

what can i say? it's a mall in a very congested part of the city. so it's busy. but it does have a lot of stores to choose from and usually the first mall that i go to when needing to go shopping. i am sure everyone agrees with me on this, but i just hate how busy it is. otherwise i always have a fantastic shopping experience. read more

I used to go out of my way to shop at Castleton Square traveling from the southside as they have some unique stores and the department stores seem to have better stuff than the same stores in different locations around Indy. However, in recent years I was robbed twice outside this mall. The first time, I thought, "This could happen anywhere." The second time, I thought, "Never again!" read more

Not a fan malls in general. Driving and parking anywhere near this mall is next to impossible. Absolutely hate all of the vendors peddling their goods to me as I try to walk through. I would be much happier if it had a Starbucks!!! read more

Enjoy shopping at this mall. Variety of clothing stores and real close to where I live. Downside, is that it is located to a now very crowded area. It's best to start your shopping experience at this mall when it opens otherwise, you are dealing with the traffic near that mall. They have H&M, Express, Hollister, Macy's, Forever 21, Loft, and many more. A decent space for an indoor playground, so if you bring your husband you can send him and the kids to play while the woman of the house shops. Variety of food vendors as well. I was a bit disappointed though, that McDonald's is no longer there. Otherwise, great mall. Next to AMC too. read more

This mall is located in north side of indy. The stores here are varied with a little bit of everything. Full food court with a tgifridays. Parking can be a little crazy during the holidays and weekends. Early mornings are the best time to go. read more

Nice affordable mall, with lots of shopping options. I am a fan of Von Mar and Macy's and both are here. Parking is plentiful except during the holidays. But what mall is prepared to that sort of shopping. Lots of entries and exits. Security is noticeable both inside and outside. read more

Castleton Square has been a part of my life as far back as I can remember. One of my first jobs was here (Sears), and I've seen the place evolve over time to what it is today. I'm a fan. The Good: Most of your retail shopping needs can be met here. You can get clothes, legos, toys, makeup, shoes, candy, etc...all in indoor convenience. When you need a break from shopping, there are plenty of food options both in the food court (hello free samples!) and on the outskirts of the mall....McAlisters, Houlihans, and a few others. It does get pretty crowded in this mall, but it's manageable. I feel safe here and for the most part, find the hoosier hospitality that we are all known for. The Not-As-Good: Parking is always a nightmare. My go-to area is the food court side, and it is usually a trek to get into the mall. There is only one Starbucks...I point this out only because it is always verrrryyyy busy, and it would be worth it to add a 2nd one. There aren't enough mall bathrooms in my opinion. These are about the only things I can think of that aren't as awesome. Overall-it's a solid place to go. It's indoors, so unlike Hamilton or Clay Terrace, you can spend the day there, even in cold weather. Definitely worth checking out and keeping it a busy and great part of Indy. read more

This mall has improved over the years. Good place for shopping. Avoid weekend nights when it becomes a babysitter to children running around creating havoc. I was young once but did I act like that? Don't answer that! read more

I have been to this mall a lot the last few weeks before that, I had not been in years. Needless to say, I actually enjoy going during the weekdays. They just recently redid their play area in the food court, and my son loves to go there and play. They also added a train ride available, which is a huge plus. The train is a little pricey though $5 per person per ride or you can pay more for unlimited train rides. The only other thing about this mall that is a down side is the fact that some of the stores are outside and you are unable to get to them without going outside. In an area with a mall as nice as Keystone, I am not sure how this one survives. It seemed less than cared for and the layout was odd.

Castleton Square has a wide variety of affordable stores mostly catering to younger people, while still having prime stores like Macy's.

For starters, this place is very clean. I can tell they take time to make sure the mall is nice, clean, and organized. They have a lot of shops to choose from, and the pricing for most of the shops isn't TERRIBLE. There is one thing that ticks me off about this place though, the customer service. Not the nicest people at the vendor booths. Other than that, it's a pretty good place. Their food court has a variety of options to choose from. Plus, they have free samples! Can't pass up a free sample, can you ;-) The mall also includes bigger stores like Macy's and Dicks. If you have littler ones, they have a play area that they redid, and a small train that goes around a part of the mall. This mall might not be the biggest mall in the world, but it sure is great to shop with your friends, have a bite to eat, and just have fun! read more

I used to live just around the corner to Castleton Square Mall. We would take our daughter out for a stroller walk (especially if the weather was bad). She always loves seeing the train go by. They've got a nice play area in the food court too. I haven't even witnessed any crazy rowdy or disruptive teens at the mall, however, I will say that it seems like a truancy officer might need to be stationed there. On every one of our trips to the mall during school hours, we've seen groups of kids just walking around. Again, not being loud or obnoxious, but still obviously skipping school (What mall doesn't have teens skipping school though). The food in the food court isn't fantastic, but it IS mall food. I do like that they give a vegetarian and vegan alternative though. I, myself, are neither, but I'm glad to see that they have recognized the growing need for it. They also have a TGI Fridays, so if you don't want a plate of food that's been heated up in pans and has been sitting for a while, you can go there! I have yet to find a bathroom other than the one in the food court, so if you have an emergency - START RUNNING! read more

This was a very nice mall. My only issue with this mall were bathrooms. They got 2 bathrooms both close to food court/ one side of the store. None in the middle or the other side of the mall. This is very inconvenient for people that have disabilities and/or handicapped. Who is going to walk way to the other side of the mall to use the bathroom ? This was bad planning when they built this mall. Other than that nice friendly workers in the store and great place to shop. Also this isn't the malls fault but Indy needs to fix their roads since no mall is worth tearing your vehicle up to get to. read more

Well what can i say its a huge mall i mean other than circle center there are no malls that compare in size in the area. The mall actually is very attractive and it has so many stores you shouldnt ever have a problem finding what you need even if it is something high end run over to von maur (which feels amost like an island away from the mall) the mall is extremely busy there never seems to be a time that it isnt. the food court is a nice size and has quite a few choices. having macy's, sears, jcpenny, von maur, dicks, and the movie theater makes this mall just so huge so it is extremely easy to spend a day in the mall. The mall is not really the safest although its no lafayett square, but i will probably bring my business down the road to fashion mall. overall nicer than your average mall but dont expect to be blown away. read more

My friends and I do not live in Indiana, however we traveled from Illinois specifically to this mall to go prom shopping. We were extremely disappointed and angered by our experience this day. We began our day by visiting Windsor, which after finding dresses for two of our friends, we waited in the checkout line and suddenly we were told to leave because the power went out. We put the dresses on hold and left, without any estimation on how long it would be before the store was back open. We then proceeded to look at dresses at Macy's, where we found some we liked and asked the employees to put them on hold. Both employees we talked to were rude and ignored our question twice until they responded with attitude. We next went to JC penny, where the employee in the dressing rooms were rude to us, as well as while we checked out at the counter the employees were rude to each other. We then went to buy shoes at Charlotte Russe, where the employee checking us out scanned our items, then talked on the phone for 6 minutes instead of finishing our check out. When we went to buy pretzels from Wetzels Pretzels, half of the many employees were texting on their phones instead of assisting customers. We finally went back to Windsor, whose doors were still closed after around two hours, but the employees were standing inside the shop waiting for the power to come on again. We went to the door hoping we could ask the names of the dresses we had on hold so we could finish the orders online, however even asking one question was a hassle because the employees ignored us for 10 minutes while we stood there. We finally had to call the store to get them to come to the doors. Other customers were also around who were also complaining about the service. Overall, we got the items we needed, but due to the horrible customer service by almost every store we visited, our shopping experience was horrible. We will no longer give this mall our business in the future. read more
