AND... a pair of shorts... AND... a necklace to go with said cute "dress casual" top and shorts... PLUS... a few extras... including an insanely adorable royal blue (makes my blue eyes pop) ruffled-front belted dress (which I so happen to already have THE perfect pair of heels to go with it). Many refer to this as "disposable clothing" ... BUT... Express has great deals on trendy outfits... AND... I always receive compliments when I wear anything from Express! Seriously. I seem to be in the minority, but I love this place! Express is THE place I go for work/play clothes. Looking for a cardigan? Check. Simple, multi-functional button-down shirts? Check. Inexpensive work suits? Check. Skirts that fall at a "decent" length? Check. Must-have summer dresses? Check. Without fail, whenever I come in... I find a ton of s**t that I have to buy. Even better, the prices at Express are extremely manageable. If you like to follow trends, but don't want to empty out your bank accts doing so, Express is the way to go. I'm going back tomorrow. What you'll be met with when you enter is an avalanche of inventory. There's so much to look at and browse that it's best to just ask the nice lady behind the counter what you're looking for. There's apparel, scooters, skateboards, accessories, shoes, stickers, and so so so much more. Luckily, I came prepared with exactly what I had in mind to buy and was able to secure the goods at a decent price. The service here is friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. All the wonderful things you'd expect from supporting a small, local business.

We were shopping for a jacket for my younger brother. When we asked about Pro Club, we were told he only had Pro 5. My brother said his size was a Large, and the owner questioned it in a way that felt awkward. He brought out a jacket that was still in the bag, and when my brother asked to see it before buying (which is normal when shopping), the jacket was taken out without any issue being mentioned. Once my brother decided not to purchase it and we politely let the owner know, his demeanor noticeably changed. He became frustrated and said that customers are "picky" and that once an item is taken out of the bag it's harder for him to sell. He then told us not to come in unless we already know what we want to buy. This felt unfair and uncomfortable, especially since none of these expectations were explained beforehand. If items aren't meant to be opened, that should be clearly communicated or display items should be available. As we were leaving, he made a comment under his breath, which added to the uncomfortable feeling. Overall, the experience made us feel unwelcome simply for browsing. Customer service should not make customers feel bad for wanting to see an item before purchasing. Unfortunately, this experience missed the mark.

I buy plenty of shirts at one time. A 3xl that I removed the tags on and wore was just too big even after washing it. I thought I would be able to exchange the one with tags for a 2xl, but was told no because the time to exchange was 30 days. I'm not asking for store credit or a refund, just an exchange from a 3xl to a 2xl. As someone who has spent my hard earned union money here for years I think this is ridiculous. The only issue I found with Purpose Built is they only seem to carry 1-brand that is 100% Made In America, which is Fox River socks, which are great if you like wool socks. I have been wearing them with my Iron Rangers and they feel great. If upper management reads this I hope they address it. I would like to spend more of my money at stores like this, but it would be nice to have more options when looking to buy 100% Made in America clothing.

Angel helped me out and made the whole pickup process smooth and easy. We talked about upgrades and accessories, and I really appreciated how knowledgeable he was about my specific firearm and other options. I have an optic and light ready for it, and he knew exactly which ones and gave me some pointers. This store has a great team all around, and I'll definitely be back for ammo and camping gear in the near future.
