Quality - when I say quality I mean how does it hold up while wearing or washing, sizing. The store is really hit or miss for me when it comes to sizes. I can be a small on up to a large. This goes for the same types of clothes (tees & jeans). Some shirts "grow" while wearing, shrink in the wash (up & out). Jeans I'm anywhere from an 8 to a 12. Their jeans an 8, or so I thought. I bought 2 pairs in an 8 online during the Shelter In Place because I couldn't try on in store so ordered online. They're the exact same cut and color of what I already have a pair of. One pair I couldn't get over my butt. The other I wasn't able to button. I took them back. You have to try everything on! Staff - sometime they're super friendly, other times you can't find someone when you need them or they're too busy chatting to take notice and when you do need help (dressing room or rung up) they act like you're bothering them or you keep being asked can I help you with something to the point that you feel like you're being stalked. Prices - if you happen to catch a sale and have coupons the prices aren't bad. If not then a little more on the pricier side.

Many refer to this as "disposable clothing" ... BUT... Express has great deals on trendy outfits... AND... I always receive compliments when I wear anything from Express! Seriously. I seem to be in the minority, but I love this place! Express is THE place I go for work/play clothes. Looking for a cardigan? Check. Simple, multi-functional button-down shirts? Check. Inexpensive work suits? Check. Skirts that fall at a "decent" length? Check. Must-have summer dresses? Check. Without fail, whenever I come in... I find a ton of s**t that I have to buy. Even better, the prices at Express are extremely manageable. If you like to follow trends, but don't want to empty out your bank accts doing so, Express is the way to go. I'm going back tomorrow. I haven't done much shopping here, but they do have several well-known stores, including Express, Bath & Body Works, Hollister, DSW, Spencer's, and Tillys. There are also a few good dining options, such as BJ's, CreAsian, and Black Angus. In the past, I found the shopping center to be pretty dull compared to some of the other malls and shopping areas I've visited around the Bay Area. However, since it was purchased by a new owner, I've noticed some improvements and renovations that have given the area a much-needed refresh. New additions like Handel's, Vine + Grain, and the upcoming Slice House are making the center feel more lively and promising. I think Streets of Brentwood has a lot of potential and will continue to improve over the next five years. One of my favorite features is the outdoor patio area. It's a nice place to take a stroll, spend time with family, and even bring your dog. Overall, Streets of Brentwood seems to be heading in a positive direction, and I'm looking forward to seeing how much it continues to grow and improve.
