It was almost lunchtime but I was wanting breakfast and Daddyz turned up on a search. I cannot say I "stumbled on it" because I don't think I would have found it without the aid of GPS. It's not in the middle of nowhere, but it isn't close to any main roads or highways either. Definitely a local place. From the mixed reviews I expected a little weirdness, but I was pleasantly surprised with the whole experience. It was almost empty when I arrived, and the servers told me to sit wherever I liked. Later a couple came in, gave me an odd look sitting there, looked at each other, then sat at another table across the room. I think I must have taken their regular seat (Sorry, folks). A number of people came in while I was there and the servers knew many of them by name. I was not disappointed with the breakfast. I had a western omelette that was cooked to perfection! There is a difference between an omelette and "scrambled eggs with cheese and stuff." The cook here knows the difference and served up a winner. The rest of the plate - toast, hash browns, grits - weren't stellar but not bad either. The coffee was fresh and hot and the servers kept it coming. The total price was very inexpensive as well so no complaints overall. Everything on the menu seems to very affordably priced. The restaurant is one big room with a bar/counter along one side and a pool table in the corner. Seems like it might do double-duty as a honky-tonk bar on the weekends but when I was there it was quiet. The staff were all friendly and eager to please. I don't know if I will ever be in that part of the world again, but if I am I wouldn't hesitate to go back. I'd give them 4-1/2 stars if I could.

Delicious as usual, always stop here when we are in town. I love their fish and shrimp and we have never left hungry.

Daddy omelette (EVERYTHING BUT THE KITCHEN SINK!) with chili, biscuit, hash browns.

Delicious food, low prices, wonderfully friendly and funny staff! I love this place and have a great experience every visit! (Going for almost three years now.) we always get breakfast, and the Daddy omelette never fails me! I can't say enough good things about Daddyz in the Pass! Y'all are sleeping on this place if you haven't tried it!

Portion sizes were great. We shared. Flavor was outstanding. Doesn't look like much from the outside but go on in, the food is awesome.

Came up on a search for breakfast in The Pass. Pretty far off the beaten trail and absolutely nothing special. Grits and eggs were bland.

It doesn't look like much when you ride by but it has good food. I would go again if I was in the area.

For a little diner, they make incredible good omelets. And their shrimps are seasoned wonderfully.

They are the "hole in the wall" little place to eat. They take care of big portions and good food.

The coffee was fresh and hot and tasty. No complaints. I had breakfast but if the lunch is half as good then you won't be disappointed. Prices were reasonable for what I got. Be aware, it is a small place and it's good so they are busy. It was crowded but the tables were turning quickly and I didn't have to wait long. The ladies working were all very friendly and were trying hard to accommodate everyone. They don't have any 2-top tables or a counter so I ended up sharing a larger table with some folks who sat at the other end. Not a problem for me, but some people don't like that. It's tucked into a small shopping strip in plain view of the road but still you might miss it driving by. Parking was easy even though they were busy. I am looking forward to going back to try some different menu items. Highly recommended.

The restaurant was full, but we were seated within 10 minutes. Coffee and water was quickly delivered and our order was taken. My youngest ordered strawberry pancake's and scrambled eggs, my oldest son ordered 3 egss with sausage, bacon and hash browns. I ordered a cheese omelette with sausage and bacon, grits and toast. My daughter ordered eggs and hash browns with toast. We all very much enjoyed. Will definitely return this trip. Service was excellent. Price was affordable and well worth the visit. All agree this was a great breakfast!

It was a colder day and so the seating options were limited but I bet this place is fantastic in the warmer temps because they have a lot of nice outside seating available. I ordered the breakfast burrito and it was excellent. I also got a rosemary honey latte with oat milk and I highly recommend it! The prices are very fair and portions are excellent. If you're concerned about parking, there are spots available in the lot next to the building and they also have plenty of nearby street parking. (The menu did offer alcoholic beverages but I didn't try them.)

I found that out as I was exiting the train via their website. I was pretty disappointed, since there were literally no breakfast places around and the train drops you off at like 9am. I even asked the customer service person at the exit of the train, and nothing. Bay Saint louis would make bank with a 7 day a week breakfast place. Anyway, we came here regardless of no food to get some wake up juice. There were so many flavors and different combinations to try, let along the alcohol coffees. So, I decided on the Belfast Brew. It had Jameson in it and Irish cream. It was sooooo pretty when it arrived! Like a dessert! We sat in the couches and just chatted, very relaxing and no rush to be anywhere. There were a few people here so I can imagine it probably much busier later in the week. I have thought about this coffee many times since I had it and I wish something like this existed in New Orleans. It really was one of the best 'Irish coffees' I have ever had!
