There use to be long time employee's working here & now there are employee's that haven't worked here for very long, as indicated by their name badges. It is nice not having employees that speak foreign languages (no, I'm not being racists but its rude) to be at the registers talking to the bagger in another language while you're checking out, not sure what happened to those employees?? At my job you're not allowed to speak any other language but English around your co-workers, break room, nsg. station, etc. The cashier's are more attentive now. :-) I LOVE their subs, my favorite is ham & cheese. Last mth when I went in to place an order in person the sub maker was horrible. After telling her what not to put on my sub she was putting it on the sub (like no salt) I had to tell her more than once to stop. I had also asked her for light pepper relish & she picked up a huge spoon full & was putting it on my sub. I had to tell her more than once to stop. She was also super slow.....I did inform a manager on my way out on her "sub making & listening skills." It was torturing!! I still LOVE their red bliss potato salad....sooo yummy! They have a nice cheese selection. Their cooked chickens are small & expensive @ $10.00. Their brand name items are reasonably priced but man I feel like a lot of other things have gone up such as their bakery items. And there's sandwiches like The Caesar Wrap (tofu, chopped romaine, crispy garlic chickpeas, vegan parm, and vegan house caesar dressing) and The TLT (tofu, lettuce, tomato, vegan mayo, and avocado "for fun" [from their website]). But when I visited (which was around 10am on a weekday) every. single. thing. was. out. Vegan cheese? Out. Vegan sausage? Out. Avocado? Out. I asked what they could make me, and the option was a breakfast sandwich with a tofu egg (which they had only one of left somehow), spinach, tomato, and house pesto. I left with my sandwich to head back to Portland, took a big bite when I was on the highway, and immediately spit it out - the pesto was brown, rancid, and so bitter the sandwich was inedible. If I had been anywhere near the market, I would have turned around and said something because clearly the pesto was old and - it seems like - they really do care about their customer and product. I think I came on an off day, I really do. When I'm in the area next, I'll stop by and try again. My other issue, this location charges too much for their sandwiches, common roadside in Epsom NH and other various locations offer an Italian sandwich in a full size sub for 12.99 Here at this location they put the Italian sandwich instead on a bulky roll but charge the same 12.99 price It's a rip you get less sandwich for the same money they really need to check their prices across stores because some of them don't match or make sense.
