There's a great little market in Kennebunkport. They have a great assortment of basic food need items for folks who are staying longer. We went a few times throughout our visit. They have an entire section of authentic Maine items from ice cream to desserts and maple syrup. They have an entire fridge if you are pulling together a quick charcuterie board. We were looking for items to make s'mores, and the staff was so kind. They ran out of marshmallows, and one of the staff members went into the back to look, and the man at the registered offered to call a few stores around Kennebunkport to check for us. Ordered a chicken caesar wrap over the phone. The wrap was $14 plus tax. Clearly had been sitting in the fridge for 24+ hours. Croutons were complete mush, lettuce reddish, and wrap gummy from absorbing the dressing. Disappointed to say the least. read more

This place had everything you could need while visiting the area. We stopped by for breakfast and I loved how big the breakfast sandwiches are and the fact that they come with two eggs! Real, whole fried eggs too! Definitely stop by, even if just to grab some refreshments. read more

I visited the updated store this week. The interior is clean, polished, and easy to navigate. The aisles are better spaced apart, and everything is easier to find. There is now a designated coffee and pastries stand in addition to the preexisting hot foods station that serves breakfast sandwiches, lunch sandwiches, pizza, and some deli salads. The new owners and employees are very kind and helpful. I understand that some people may feel upset that their beloved store has changed, but the core goodness of this place has not. read more

I really wasn't sure what to expect when I walked in here because we were expecting more of it a bakery. We didn't try any of the food, but that's because we were going to eat. 10-18-22 our shore trip to Kennebunkport gave us a 1-3/4 hour free time to eat lunch and shop. What a grand time since prediction of 100% rain never appeared. Hubs went to use the public restroom in the town behind Allison's. I went to Copper Candle out of all the surrounding shops. This place is great! The service was great, they're extremely friendly and provide helpful info as to what's freshly cooked for a quick grab like a hot chili. We ordered sandwiches and coffee, all excellent. We had the Turkey Arugula with bacon and chicken salad sandwiches and lattes. Great sized sandwiches, fresh bread, and overall 10/10! Came upon this place while walking the town looking for a place for breakfast. Not a lot of seating, you order at the register and they call your name when ready. This is a really cool little store. It's got every thing you could want! Breakfast, lunch, dinner, wine, beer, liquor, and much much more! We ordered HB maple Bacon wrap, HB bagelwich, and the bagel and lox. Let me tell you the portions are generous to say the least! Maple bacon wrap... holy cow, the maple bacon was a burst of sweetness, the eggs and grilled onions came in just enough to match the sweetness with some savory. Over all this was one heck of a breakfast burrito! My wife said the bagelwich was really good. She ordered it with the everything bagel. Bagel was tasty. The only critique would have been that the hash-browns were soggy from the fryer and the sausage grease. But over all a well constructed breakfast creation. Bagel with lox... I don't know why I am a sucker for this whenever I see it on a menu! I just have to order it. Everything bagel was as mentioned above was good, the bagel was covered in cream cheese, onions, and capers. Then some very generous slices of smoked salmon applied to top it off! We wanted our last lobster roll leaving Maine and as it was just 10:30 am, most lunch places closed I trusted some of the yelp reviews and ended up buying most disappointing lobster rolls two for 25$ each, which looked like a lobster burger with lettuce and tomatoes! Too much Mayo and not that great if lobster meat either! The chicken panini and the blueberry pudding was good though, probably on me not making the best choice for lobster rolls as I was in a hurry. Quick self service for most of the food items except lobster roll, a neighborhood store with a lot of Maine goodies though the same brand of maple syrup at hannaford could cost half less! My husband and I purchased breakfast from here two days in a row during our stay in Kennebunkport. It is the only place in town that serves breakfast EARLY. I ordered the same breakfast both days (two eggs scrambled, hash browns, and toast) and both days the hash browns were equally disappointing. It said Thursdays were meatloaf but there was pot roast on the hot bar which was Wednesday's special so I didn't get those if they were leftovers and sitting there for 2 days. Decent store and deli. Been here several times over the last few days. The food is very good and the people are every friendly. I have been getting the three egg omelet the last few days. It is pretty good. I get it with American cheese, ham, and green peppers. My only wish is that they would substitute the hash browns with my three egg omelet. I am trying to be good and eat healthier. I asked what they could substitute for the hash browns and they said they couldn't. That left me with the choice of accepting the hash browns or asking them to exclude them. That doesn't seem right given that they could have done something, just chose not too. Our breakfast was piping hot and consisted of some good Homemade food . Got the corned beef hash brown breakfast, it was like my momma used make. Instead of shredding the corn beef it is chunks and the cubed potatoes, they were cooked down to seal in all the flavors. The Bacon Egg sandwich was on a fresh roll, hot and steamy goodness.
