Not only does Nazy and her assistants take great care of her, but you can tell they genuinely care for her and love what they do. They spend a lot of time playing outside, playing inside, doing arts and crafts, etc. An important thing for us was communication. From the jump, Nazy has always had great communication with us and we have never had any issues. There have been times where we were running late for pick up or had to drop her off a little earlier than usual and Nazy was able to be flexible each time. Being a first time mom, I relied heavily on other people's reviews for daycares/daycare providers. I saw nothing but amazing reviews for Nazy and her assistants. Where do I even begin... and how can I put in to words how much we have loved our time at ICDC?…read more My daughter joined ICDC at just 10 months old and she's been lucky enough to call ICDC her home away from home for the last 4 YEARS! My daughter was one of the luckiest kids to have been in all of the classrooms - Infant Room, Toddler Room, Pre-1, Pre-2 and Pre-3. We've been able to meet/experience all of wonderful teachers and staff who truly make the place special. And it's no wonder so much of the staff has dedicated 5,10...20 years of their careers to ICDC and teaching & caring for our future generations. They truly care about the kids social-emotional and educational development! They have lesson plans, help the children gain independence and have lots of hands on learning experiences inside the classroom and also with off site Field Trips. They even have a yoga instructor come in every Monday to do yoga session with each of the older classrooms!! How cute is that? ICDC is truly special in all that they do, they have little events like: Mother's Day Picnic, Donuts with Dad, Holiday Family Pajama Breakfast, Spirit Week and much much more! They really do a great job giving families the opportunity to be involved with the school and my biggest advice is to 100% participate in all that you can. Attend all the events, volunteer for teacher appreciation week, go to the fundraisers, attend back to school night, and build community within ICDC in any way that you can. Again, I can't say enough kind words to truly convey our experience with them these last 4 years, but the time has come for my daughter to start elementary school. I am so thankful for the foundation in education, confidence, kindness, and care that ICDC has given her. She walked into the center every day with a smile on her face, and that gave me so much peace as a parent. Choosing a daycare is one of the hardest decisions you'll make, but from my experience, choosing ICDC was the BEST decision I could have made. I trusted them with the care of my only child, and in return they gave me so much more than I ever expected... They gave her a safe place to grow, lifelong friendships, confidence, unforgettable memories, and a genuine love of learning. The teachers are wonderful, communication is excellent, and we really appreciate the student-to-teacher ratio. Other times, they're on their phones, barely paying attention, and lets my child do dangerous things. However, the most frustrating part of this is not knowing whether the sitter will show up or not. So often, we will have a sitter confirmed just to have them cancel last minute (1-2 hours before the session). This is problematic because once a sitter claims an appointment, other sitters can't claim it. So when there is a last minute cancellation, we are just screwed. Not sure why these sitters are so poorly trained and have so many commitment issues. But having a babysitting service be so unreliable is a huge red flag.

Since the change in management, the experience has gone downhill significantly -- and this is not a reflection on the teachers, but on the director, Nicole. My daughter is under 2, and I've had several serious concerns: Clothing & outdoor play: I keep a full set of outfits on file for changes. On the hottest day of the year, my daughter was sent outside in a sweatsuit. When I raised this with Nicole, she told me the toddlers hadn't gone outside that day -- but I have a photo proving otherwise. Diaper supply: I provide over a month's worth of diapers at a time, yet I'm consistently given only one day's notice when supplies run low. One day is not enough time to order and deliver diapers. Four days' notice is a reasonable ask. Wood chips: The outdoor play area for toddlers contains wood chips, which are a choking hazard. My daughter came home with a splinter because her shoes weren't checked after outdoor play -- something that should be standard practice. Early pickup policy: My daughter was sent home after a single diaper blowout. I confirmed with my sister, who is a social worker, and with another KinderCare location that the actual policy requires three consecutive blowouts accompanied by a symptom. I believe staffing shortages may have been the real reason children were sent home that day. I gave this location every opportunity to make things right and addressed my concerns directly and respectfully. Unfortunately, the issues were never resolved. I've since transferred my daughter to another KinderCare location. Until this location improves its staffing and leadership, I would not recommend enrolling your child here.

She has navigated COVID with grace and care while prioritizing the health and safety of both the kids and staff. My 2yr old daughter was excluded for a few weeks during the height of Omicron and when she returned to school, she ran up to Ms. Iris and gave her a hug. That gave me so much reassurance that my daughter is both safe and happy at this center! I also appreciate that they keep you updated on meals, activities, potty stops, etc through the app. Also, my daughter has some special medical needs and they have never treated us like an inconvenience. Lastly, I have been blown away by how much my daughter's vocabulary has expanded. She is speaking well beyond my expectations. It's great to see her blossoming and engaging with her environment with curiosity and an eagerness to be independent.
