Completed a full session with them through Saddleback District. Just an updated review, my son finished 8 classes with them with Mr.Joshua. He was fantastic. The focus was on forensic science. My kid was always excited to head over there afterschool. The class was always held in the science lab and there are times the class will go outside to examine plants or whatever is related for the topic of the day. The teacher kept in touch with the parents by emailing the topics that would be covered. It is very hands on and they also have worksheets that is easy for them to follow because of the graphic organizers given to them. One of the most interesting one was looking at DNA and using fresh strawberries and alcohol. So keep in mind to disclose any allergies to the teacher because they get hands on with a variety of ingredients such as cornstarch, flour, sugar, and salt. I did bring up some certain special needs that my kid had and the owner of BioNerd made an effort to really make sure my kid was safe. The teacher also provided photo certificates for the kids on the last day of class. It was very nice! We look forward to more classes in the future. It looks like each 8 week course focuses on different topics. The only cons that I have is the cost of the class. It comes out to about $22 bucks each class. However, it is engaging for the kids. I wish the district can help supplement some of the the cost especially to low income parents or provide some type of scholarship. Other than that, its great! My son loved it!

My five-year-old attended a one week camp in RSM this summer and loved it!! They did biology experiments and learned about things like how to make yogurt, the five senses, and worms and crickets and other animals. She came home excited every day and told me she wants to be a scientist when she grows up. We would definitely do this again!!

Is this camp suitable for a 12yo or is it primarily for elementary school children?

For me it was worth the price (especially at discount) as it was different from your typical OC activities, but still fun all the same. I don't recommend it for team building if you're any kind of competitive cause I was super annoyed that my husband kept stepping on lava :P Honestly, dollar for dollar it's a better deal and MUCH more interactive than bowling and mini-golf. Also much appreciate the calories burned!

It was five adults total--my mom wasn't able to play since she's disabled, but the staff was really accommodating, and we just left the door open so she could sit and watch us play, which worked out perfectly. The games were really fun, and the customer service was great--super friendly and helpful! We had previously tried Activate (which is similar), and I'd say we actually prefer the grid-style game at Activate since it feels more competitive. With RGB Run, the game started to feel a little repetitive after about 30 minutes, so I think it's more geared toward a shorter, one-session experience rather than a full hour. The main reason we chose RGB Run was because they offer private rooms, which is a huge plus. I didn't realize, though, that you're limited to just one style of game when booking, so I was a little disappointed they didn't have the specific game I had hoped for. That said, we still had a really fun time and I'd definitely recommend it for groups who want a private experience. Overall, a really enjoyable spot for something different to do with family or friends. I'd give it 4 stars--mainly because of the limited game options--but everything else (especially the service) was great!

The two examples they had to try out in the store had poor responses to their controllers; Antonio informed us that they're broken. When I mentioned that that is not a great way to sell their products, he said he isn't going to change them out until they're completely useless because kids just keep messing them up. I responded that this isn't a good testament to their quality. He continued the conversation with a slight bitterness about how children play so I stopped; kids are the main reason for your source of income- you should probably be nicer (I did not say this to him though I wanted to). The quality overall was quite low (everything is plastic!) so we opted to build models instead. The girl who showed us that was enthusiastic and helpful. We spent over 150$ on our custom vehicles; I got cool skull accessories on my truck. This store is better if you want to throw a party than to leave with a toy that will last. There's cheaper RTR and kits with far better quality than this place carries. Pros: - great location/around other activities - free parking for the first hour - clean and bright shop Cons: - pricey for low, low quality - no monster truck builds available - not truly kid-friendly

My first recent try was to go the traditional route - heater, filter, bottles of water conditioner & beneficial bacteria, etc. etc. - when I unexpectedly happened upon an eye-opening You-Tube vid about the Walstad method (less homework & a more natural environment, the way God intended). So I returned all that other gear & am starting from scratch. Fernando eased My initial anxiety arriving as a total tank newbie, and gave Me a tour of the various low-maintenance plants I could start My nitrogen cycling with. Nolan - the Captain of this aquarium supplies ship - answered every one of My questions with patience & grace, did not talk down to Me or make Me feel stupid, and I left feeling happily hopeful that I might actually be successful in creating a fish-friendly safe & healthy environment. I am already envisioning My future fishy tenants, plus a snail & a sucker fish or two. Wish Me luck!! :-)
