My personal return was completed within a week and handled professionally. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about our partnership return. The preparer initially reviewed our 2024 returns and expressed confidence that he could complete the work within about a month. I provided all the necessary information, and for the first week things progressed smoothly as I responded promptly to his questions. However, communication then abruptly stopped. My repeated emails requesting updates went unanswered. As a final attempt, I gave him a week to confirm whether he intended to complete the work. Again, there was no response. In the end, I lost roughly three weeks and spent considerable time supplying detailed information from QuickBooks and other records, only for the process to break down completely. This was particularly disappointing given that he reportedly has over ten years of experience handling partnership tax returns. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this office--or H&R Block locations in general--for business tax returns.

The DRs, staff, referrals have all been really good, My…read moreissue is with pharmacy medication refills and MyChart medication refills and messages Recently they have refill requests, from pharmacy or MyChart go to a "central system" meaning they dont get to your Dr or care team. I would have been out of medication numerous times if I did not call. I have to call every month. Prior to this a refill done online with my pharmacy went through, and the Dr would refill. Not now. My wife notified the pharmacy in person for a refill, and waited five days, then called Dr office. They confirmed in sat in "central refills" for five days. We called on Friday at 4:20 on day 31 of a 30 day scrip. Would they have left her hanging all weekend? This medication should never be abruptly stopped. MyChart is slow and no longer a realistic way to communicate with your Dr. Providence wants you to pay for messages, instead now messages go to a "central unit" to be evaluated and basically not delivered. I think I now see the "central problem". They encourage us to use digital refill systems like your pharmacy and MyChart, for medications and messages that dont require a Dr visit, yet now apparently go against that. Again, my Drs and staff, are great, really great, man I appreciate them, but the system is now flawed. Im not opposed to a zoom appointment. Pretty frustrating on these issues.

All was going well until taking my FIRST step one my plan became active. FIRST step is to select a Primary Care Provider (PCP) which seems easy enough. WRONG! The Providence website suggests dozens of PCP's accepting new patients when in reality there are less than a meager handful accepting new patients. When I did finally find one I was told the first appointment available was 12 months out...yep, 12 months out!!! I couldn't believe my ears and asked the representative to repeat themselves. Yes, it was true. Providence was willing to take me into their plan (and receive Medicare payments) but not able to have me actually see a PCP until 12 months later. Thankfully I was still within the initial Medicare grace period and switched to Kaiser. This experience has completely shattered my belief that Providence was a good choice. Could not recommend the Providence plan to anyone.
