I needed 17 Pizzas for a work crew at lunch time. 11 am. I started calling all the usual places at 9am to insure delivery by 11 but no one would answer the phone that early. Then I came across this place who thankfully did. A pleasant voice took my order on the other end and assured me they will be delivered at 11 at my designated location. As agreed they delivered. This is the best meat lovers pizza I've tasted in my life. The sliced meatballs and provolone make all the difference. This pizza place is way ahead of the competition. Thank God I discovered it. My work crew enjoyed it to the point that there were no leftovers. They kept complementing the food the rest of the day. Many came back to the lunch break area to check on leftovers constantly throughout the rest of the day until it was all gone. The Deluxe and the Pepperoni pizzas were great too. There's nothing negative I can say about the food or service. It is unlike anything else in Springfield. After this experiences I've returned many more times and tasted some of their subs and the wings. Everything is top notch. I do recommend the turkey bacon combo sub and the turkey ham bacon combo sub. The 12 inch is enough to feed two. All food is made with quality ingredients and served with love which makes all the difference in the world. I think I will be returning to this place until I die. read more

Sandwiches is good true enough.. but how many times are you suppose to pay for extra things add and NOT GET IT and say they kitchen said they did this and you looking at that your sandwich and see different. THEN say you can bring it back and we'll fix it, But when I ask while paying it was yes everything you ask for is there. Get home sandwich was BS!!! The homemade meatballs are amazing. Pizza has just as good so much better than anything else in Springfield.

One of the few subs I can't FINISH. It's as good as it is big. You won't be disappointed. I promise.

The best Italian sun I've ever had. The bread there is amazing. I'm not sure about their pizza and other subs. I like the Italian so much that I'm afraid to try anything else. I've lived in this area off and on for most of my life, but had never tried this place. I'm now calling it Springfield's best original ethnic restaurant. Don't expect fine dining, or even a place to sit and eat. It's basically a pizza and subs place, but they do it well. We've had the subs a couple of times now, and they're huge and East Coast style. The prices are very fair, and a 12" sub will probably feed two people. We've only had the pizza once, but it was also well done, thin crust baked on a screen, but probably more New York style than it is like traditional midwest screen baked pizza (Marions, Cassanos). We will definitely be going back. Try it and see what you think! read more

OMG! We tried this place for the first time....even though we've lived in Springfield for 30+ years. The location is just not where we typically travel, so we had never thought about trying it before. We ordered a baked Italian Grinder. The two of us could barely finish it. Every bite was perfect. Toppings were fresh, delightfully seasoned and abundant. The bread was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. This is definitely a call ahead place since there is very limited parking and no where to sit and eat. However, if you go in and order, it doesn't take too long and there are beautiful produce items, old fashioned candy, and desserts to shop while you wait. read more

We have been going here for years but the last 2 times it has been nothing but horrible! We will never go back! We called and told the owner how bad it was and it seemed like our bread was soaked in water and he said bring back and we will talk about it. I wish I would have spent my money somewhere else! Old school pizza, LOADED subs, and a mini fruit market/deli inside. I've never had a bad food order here. Pizzas have a TON of cheese and the toppings are plentiful. The pepperoni is unique and mildly sweet. Not the greatest end of town, although the owners have put some effort & money into remodeling the building a bit. You'll hear The Rat Pack playing inside and the regulars get called by name. No dining area so grab plenty of napkins for the car- you're a stronger human being than I if you can make it home before nibbling on your order! read more

Best local pizza place in Springfield! The main thing I love about this place is that their pizza sauce is fresh and handmade. Going to pizza chains, that isn't always going to be the case. You can even find chunks of tomato in Catanzaro's pizza sauce. It's so good! Only problem with the restaurant is the location. It's located in one of the trashiest areas in Springfield. I see crackheads walking around that area all the time. If it was on a nicer side of town, I'm sure they would get a lot more business. Either way, it's definitely worth the trip. read more
