2024 time for a recent review on YELP. spoke with the owner and inquired about the bad reviews from years past years, and being an Elite Member, I wanted to try this place and give a review that is current. She explained Covid and mis management contributed to the lack luster reviews, but she is striving to turn this place around. First, there's 2 sides to the restaurant with a kitchen in the middle. We walked in on the log cabin looking side, which has a few tables and not much room. That's the side that had most vehicles parked. Only to learn that the longer side of building, is considered the "bar" side. We walked around, and a much larger dining room, with pool tables, TV screens, and a bar. They are anticipating finally being able to serve beer, wine and full bar before the end of Feb 2024...until then, soda pops and ice tea, coffee and hot tea. Alcohol will be available on both sides. All you can eat Fish Fry Friday, $14.99. 3 large pieces of fish(pollock), choice of coleslaw, apple sauce, cottage cheese or side salad. Also choice of potato: battered dip, bake potato, sweet potato. The fish is Pollock and you can choose: "dry"- crunchy, "wet" which is battered dipped, baked or Cajon. We tried the wet and dry, and liked both! The coleslaw had mandarin oranges and carrots, the side salad is what you'd expect. Waitstaff was hustling, trying to ensure no delays in serving. Definitely need to come back to try their breakfast and other menu items. Sounds like they are going to have entertainment on weekends, maybe Battle of the Bands, and "car shows"....stay tuned...and try them out. read more

In June my daughter's toy was dropped at Catch 120 Grill it was quickly thrown away in the trash because it "looked" like a dog toy. Parents beware do not bring your small childern here or truly any childern in the case that they may drop their small belongings and accidentally leave them behind for them to be thrown away. Without any regard to hold on to any items for 24 hours to claim said item ownership will only offer a sorry and the fact of it looked like a dog toy and said too bad its in the trash even though the item in question was very clear a baby toy that accidentally was left behind. Also in this instance no one from the ownership has tried to rectify this situation. read more

Ordered take out. Got it home, wrong dinner order. Called to ask for a solution and waitress hung up on me after I repeatedly asked to speak with the manager. Had to return meal and just asked for refund at that point. Manager said sometimes the waitresses couldn't hear clearly on the phone as it's in the kitchen. I suggested moving the phone to a quieter area. Manager said no, waitresses have to be in back to wash dishes. So, you're under staffed too. Perhaps you can develop a business plan. I was not loud or nasty. I did not swear. I will never eat there again. Not only because of the crazy argumentative staff, but because they seem like the kind of servers who'd spit in your food. We came in with a party of 9 into an empty restaurant, waitress bounced around table while taking food order. 4 out of 9 of us got our correct orders. 45 minutes to get food delivered, waitress kept making a joke out of everything and continued getting orders wrong to the point the cook had no idea what to make. We moved to this area a year ago. We were afraid to try catch 120 based on the reviews on here. Not understanding the complaints. We tried it once in December and have returned three times. So far we've had wings, burgers, pizza, and the ayce fish. It's all been SO good. Service has been great too. read more

We've now been here twice since they reopened. The improvement is striking. Service has been excellent. They run great specials and have a nice selection of beers on tap. By far one of my worst dining experiences I've ever had. I ordered a Wet Burrito and specifically said NO BEANS because I'm highly allergic to them and will have anaphylactic shock if I'm exposed. When they served my plate, there were beans mixed in and on top. When I brought this to my server's attention she got an attitude and said to my face that "she didn't see any beans" and stormed off. And returned with another plate with the same meal and when she served that, she also used the same spoon to dish another plate that also had beans on it and then mine, contaminating my dish all over again. When you own a business and serve food you should always properly train your staff on food allergens, especially if you run a kitchen. It's the LAW. Absolutely will never recommend this place to anyone and they need to be reported to the Health Department. read more

To start, I'm sure the people that work there are lovely. That's probably the only good thing I can say. I placed a take out order for 4 dinners and one appetizer. Out of the 4 dinners, only the smash burger was edible. If only they had gotten my order correct and not melted cheese all over it. Moving on to the appetizer, mozzarella sticks. Those were burnt. The crispy chicken sandwich is just a chicken tender thrown on a large bun. The wet burritos are smothered in what looks like beef gravy and tastes like extremely salty slime. Both of the burritos went in the trash. Instead of receiving the chili that we ordered we ended up with a container of cottage cheese. My husband drove back to the restaurant to pick up the chili. When he arrived he was asked if he wanted the chili warmed up or if cold was ok. Seriously!?! When he came home with the chili I opened the container to find about 3 tablespoons of chili. All of this for the low, low price of $75. Obviously, I will not be returning. read more

Well it was an hour and half wait for food and I ordered a 20.00 prime rib that was coming med rare and with a veggie and potato. My bf ordered chicken fried steak We ordered apps, i got a Margarita. It was good. We waited an hour and half and no food. Ya know its fine if your short staffed but you at least you should give us notice before we ordered. Everything came at once. Waited forever to even be acknowledged I was even there, part of my food was cold and by time they figured out how to use a microwave, which they couldn't do because it came back still cold the rest of my food was cold too. Excellent food and service! My son had the 2/3 lb cheese burger and he loved it. I had the ruben and it was excellent. The homemade potatoe chips were very crisp and salty. The service was excellent and the waitstaff were friendly. Almost forgot, plenty of truck parking. read more

I was leary about coming here because it was a dump when it was Ed's, but to our surprise it was completely redone on the inside. I had the pizza and it was absolutely amazing! Not short on toppings and bursting with flavor. My wife got the portabella burger and she said it was the best she had had in a long time, so watch out Mo-Z and Village Inn of Pierson! We had to ask for menus after about 10 minutes of just waiting, it took at least 35 minutes to even get our two salads. The wait staff only came by two times the entire hour we were there. We ordered fried food which is not that hard to cook. You could lose a car in the pot holes of the parking lot. Inquired of the status of our food, was told it would be just a few minutes, waited ten minutes and left. We were told they hadn't even started our food when we left. We finally gave up and canceled it. Two of us ordered 2 and 3 extra fish. The waitress even came back to ask if 2+3 for total of 5 was correct. We waited over a half hour then got 2+1 was all. The waitresses are very nice but they need more help as we have to wait for sides, tarter sauce, drink refills, etc. Idk why after an hour there we never got the 5th meal. My girlfriend and I stopped in to grab something to eat after leaving the Burley Park flea market. The place was a little busy but not to bad. We ordered and our food come fairly quick, and it was really good. Our waitress was kind but never filled our waters back up, and when we were done it took longer to get the bill then it did to order the food and eat it. Stopped by on. Friday night , under staffed for servers waited 15 min for a drink. The owner is here eating next to us, and after 25 min went in the back and asked a food runner to take our order as they continued to eat their dinner. The servers are awesome they bust their butts. When told, asked what comes with it, said let me ask, came back with a dumb look. A short waitress with a Detroit Tiger shirt came out and was just as bad. Ask to get Mac and cheese with dinner told yes, then later an upcharge of $2.50 each. Told her what she said and had no answer. Never gave me a receipt, and just cashed us out. Wow what a nice surprise! They have local trout and baked or fried walleye. The cole slaw is mayo based. Their baked sweet potato is perfectly cooked and has the right amount of cinnamon thrown on. BAD experience!!! I have been there before (1yr ago) and loved the pizza, beer, and service but this time was awful. I asked the waitress three questions and for everyone she answered "i don't know" or "yeah, i really don't know"... didn't even offer to ask or find out. We had 3 people: 1 didn't get the right meal, 1 got a cold meal and the chicken part of his appetizer looked like bone socket of the chicken, and I had cold sides. On top of it all they served 7mo expired beer and one of my bottles was rusted all around the top mouth piece and had corroded mess all over it. read more

We usually get pizza from another local business, but thought we should order from another local business to support them. I ordered one cheese pizza and one pepperoni pizza from Catch 120. My husband arrived to pick the pizza up to find that it is two pepperoni pizzas (not one cheese and one pepperoni as ordered). The restaurant asks him if that's ok, to which he states it is not (I'm a vegetarian). They tell him that it will be 20-30 minutes for the order then. He pays for the pizza and waits in his car. Upon picking up the pizza after his wait the employee tells him that they rung him up wrong and they refunded him his money and charged him more (I think it was about $3-4. I can't remember). When he finally arrives home with the pizza it is apparent that the pepperoni one is the original one that they made as the cheese is solidified, the crust was hard, and the pizza is cold. At the very least they should have remade the pepperoni one so both the cheese and pepperoni pizzas were fresh. Luckily, my family doesn't mind cheese pizza as the pepperoni was disappointing. read more
