Pizza is really good. The best in the city. I think they need more employees though. Wait times can drag.

Food is amazing. I love the pizza. But also the house salad, the Ziggy bread and the fire bites.

As in "We need to go to Audrey's, we're running out of feta," the plastic vat of brine-bathing cheese dangerously light. Or "Where's Baba [Dad]?" "He went to Audrey's for olives and glika [sweets]." (The man's lifeblood). The store also used to carry VHS tapes from Greece and cassettes for purchase and rental, as well as icons and church incense. Upon my return to Finneytown for the first time since I was a teenager, my husband and I stopped by Audrey's (no longer technically Audrey's, the store's switched owners twice since the nineties; it is now owned by another member of the significant Greek community in the area). The store hasn't changed in size--it is not big at all--and not much in appearance either, although it is clean-looking and smelling and a little less cluttered than I remember. Its selection, while certainly not enormous, is delightfully varied for its smallness. Beyond feta and olives, the store also carries: *a wide range of different jams (we nabbed an intriguing fig and sesame jam to take home) *candied fruits and nuts, from rose petals to pistachios to eggplant--yes, candied eggplant--to quince to figs to lemons to walnuts. As my grandpa says, Greeks will candy anything, including goat poops, if they were to be so inclined. *halvas (different brands and different flavors: pistachio, cocoa-swirled, almond) *a couple of cases of imported juices in flavors like tart cherry and apricot *pantry staples including dried and canned beans, tahini, a number of shapes and sizes of macaronis, trahana made with both sweet and sour milk, olive oils, and vinegars *imported cookies and crackers (sweet and savory) and pasteli/sesame candies from Greece and throughout the Middle East *prepared foods, including Lenten faves, like spanakorizo The fun items and friendly service made my return, over a decade later, memorable and sweet. Stop in for pantry staples, and pick up some unique prepackaged imported goods to try while you're in.

I'm a longtime local resident and I've heard wonderful things about the new ownership of the Meat…read moreMarket but haven't been in in a long while. Every Saturday we see them grilling out on the sidewalk on Wyoming avenue and wanted to stop by. It's such a fun tradition that's worth the stop off 75- you can take a walk around Wyoming Avenue to the Village Green or Crescent Park if it's a nice day! The shop is neat and cozy inside. They've got a great selection of wines and cold drinks. The only reason I took off a star is that the ordering process can be a little confusing. There was a handwritten sign for sandwiches, and some premade sandwiches in the case. But they looked a little bare- it wasn't clear that they came with toppings, could be warmed up, customized, etc. I took the leap and ordered one- the turkey and Colby on sourdough- and I found out that I could add toppings and that my bread was toasted. But I couldn't see them while making it to know whether it was made fresh or one of the ones in the display case. The sandwich was good- don't get me wrong! But it was a little basic for $13- mayo, lettuce, tomato (light on the toppings), red onion, and pickle. I think one thing that could've helped was some more specialty condiments- Dijon or dark mustard, a speciality aioli, etc. and the pickles were room temp dark green pickles (not fresh). Some fresh, crunchy homemade pickles would have taken this to the next level and really amplified that high quality meat that you're paying for. To the same point, none of the yummy looking salads or sides were labeled in the case. How much were they? Did they contain allergens? Could I get them as a side for my sandwich? Overall a great spot and we'll be back! But I'm left wondering if I'm getting the full experience or not because of the lack of ordering instructions inside. Oh- the staff were friendly and I'm sure could make up the difference! They happened to be busy because of the busy festival outside though, so I'm sure on a normal day they'd be able to provide more information.

I enjoy going in and browsing their selection. I wish they made some dishes more regularly like chicken fajitas! So far I've only found them there once! Employees always greet you and are patient even when you're indecisive like myself.

Once you've found HighGrain, park in the parking lot and go inside. You walk in and La Terza is immediately on your left. When you walk in, you can go up to the counter and check out the menu. Just hit the little doorbell on the counter if nobody is there when you arrive. They'll show up quickly. You'll also likely notice the coffee's that they currently have "on tap", if you will. They put the bags out front so you know what you're ordering. You can choose from one of their straight up cups of coffee to espresso or latte's, iced or hot. During this visit I selected a small black coffee and an iced vanilla latte. The black coffee was a Costa Rica bean that was bold and robust with flavor. I really enjoyed this. The vanilla latte was not sweet at all. So, if you're looking for something a little sweeter, I'd ask for it to be sweetened or possibly go with the caramel latte, as that was a little sweeter. They do roast their beans on-site. I was going to take a walk over there but the door was closed once I got my coffee order. I did buy a bag of their whole Peru sourced beans that I'm very much looking forward to grinding up and French pressing to perfection. Combined with HighGrain, there is a lot of space to sit and enjoy your coffee. They have a small bakery cabinet to check out and order from as well. I can only assume that the coffee shop and brewery work together, so you may be able to order food from HighGrain and have your coffee too. Would I go back? 100%. I'm looking forward to trying the beans that I purchased. If they're as good as the coffee that I had in-store, La Terza will be on my list of local places to get my beans from.
